I highly recommend Dirty Paws. I have a 1 year old Pomeranian that is 20 lbs and his hair had grown to be quite long and shaggy. This was the first time he was getting his haircut and my boyfriend and I were really nervous about getting him neatened up because we knew it would be quite a task to get it to look natural and not choppy. After finally mustering up the courage and making the appointment here, I sure am happy with the results! Crystal is very friendly and answered all of our questions. She also walked us through Milo's haircut to be sure it would turn out exactly how we wanted. I was surprised by how fast they got the job done! In my opinion, I thought this was a quick job because the first time we got Milo groomed was at PetSmart and it took over 4 hours when he didn't even get a hair cut! Just a bath and toe nail and paw trim. Our appointment was at 1230 and Crystal quoted us around 3. A little after 3 they called and let us know Milo would be ready in 15 minutes. When we first laid eyes on our new Milo we both were grinning from ear to ear. He looks spectacular! Crystal did an amazing job and blew me out of the water. We will definitely return when it's time for Milo to be groomed again. Dirty Paws pricing is very fair. On the phone when I had book the appointment she told us it would be about $45 and our total came up to be exactly that. I also know PetSmart charges about the same price for this service. I took 4 dogs to he groomed here and asked for cuts that would go with their breed qtyle. 3 are Yorkies and 1a shitzu. After all day they werent done at there quoted time and all got the same cut....shaved! Took 4 monts before their hair looked ok. read more

Crystal at Dirty Paws is great! I have taken my dog to her for over a year, and every time he comes back exactly as I asked him to be clipped. She is very good with dogs, and I feel confident my dog will be well cared for while he's with her. I have a shih tzu, and so does she. She knows how to style them well, no matter what style you want. When we're out I often get asked if my dog just got trimmed, even when it's been 2 months since his last cut--her cuts are so good they grow out well! I finally decided to have my buddy, an old Australian Shepherd (male) named Cervantes, groomed by a professional. I was told by a friend that Dirty Paws does a great job and is both professional and friendly. I can tell you that I was not disappointed by taking my dog here! When I first called Dirty Paws, Crystal (the owner and groomer) let me know that she was booked out a couple of weeks. During the call she asked me basic information which included the name and age of my dog, sex, breed, etc. Cervantes was put on the waiting list but she was able to get him in within a few days! She called me to let me know... How cool is that? I really appreciated the courtesy and excellent customer service. Her demeanor was both cordial and helpful. Crystal was an absolute pleasure to do business with. On the day of the appointment I filled out some paperwork concerning temperament and possible physical ailments like arthritis, blindness, deafness, etc. I let her know that Cervantes had hip dysplasia, a frequently encountered problem for this breed of dog. She assured me that he would receive the best care and after speaking with her for a short while I was very comfortable leaving him there to be groomed by her. When he was about 20 minutes (estimated) from being finished I was given a call to let me know that he'd be ready for pick-up soon. I arrived and he was led out to the waiting room. He looked INCREDIBLE! I was so happy with the results and my buddy certainly looked happy, too. I can't remember ever seeing him look better! He had a colorful kerchief around his neck and a smile on his face. Crystal let me know everything they had done for him, including the types of shampoos and conditioners that worked best with this breed. She also let me know how he had done during the grooming process. She said that he was a pleasure to groom but had some stubborn mats... My fault! I was truly impressed by the obvious dedication and consideration that goes into her work. She clearly loves animals and it shows in her attitude and affection towards them. Needless to say, I pre-booked my dog's next appointment with Crystal immediately. She even gave me a discount for doing so! I can't say enough good things about Crystal and her grooming business. I'll be taking my buddy to Dirty Paws from now on. I must also mention that I drove 30+ miles to take Cervantes here. It was worth every penny spent in gas to see him looking so good! read more

I am so grateful for Crystal! She is always so caring towards my dogs. One of my dogs had something on her paw that my family just thought was a raw pad so we thought it would go away, Crystal took one look at it and said we should take her to the vet and get it looked at. We took her in right away and it turned out to be something pretty serious. If it wasn't for her, I don't know how long w would have waited to get her the treatment she needed. I have Golden Retrievers so they don't need grooming but maybe once a year. Crystal is always happy to take them in, clean them up, trim their feet and feathers. These are senior dogs, so a gentle touch is required. They are always happy and well cared for when I pick them up. Highly recommended. read more

I have been taking my dog to Crystal for awhile now. They do a good job on the grooming part but they are way too pricey considering the location and other groomers around the corner that are just like this shop. The owner does a 10% disc for my company if we schedule the groomings ahead of time. But one time we missed our scheduled appt and we had to reschedule. So when it was time to pay she couldn't honor the disc since we cancelled the original appt. I just want to say that I bring my dog to this place every 3-4wks and pay $55 for the service. Don't you think she should honor it one time! So, I ended up taking my service to Adix down the street from her and they do a fabulous job too for only $35! read more
