The job that was accepted was too big for them, and that was because Chivarous and his father were communicating over the phone and with pictures. So when it came time to grind the stump from the tree they cut down, the father wanted to increase the price, because it was larger than he thought it was going to be. Mind you, this was communicated to me 1) through Chivarous and 2) after my gutter sustained $1,200 worth of damage due to a falling limb as they cut the tree down. They ARE NOT INSURED. The amount of debris that came from this one tree was substantial and sat in my yard for two days. Because responses stopped while we were texting (read receipts were on), I called the city to see if they would pick up the debris as I thought they were going to leave with me with it. The city called them and the debris began to be picked up at 8:37PM that night after obtaining a truck from GA, I believe. They did a really good job of cleaning it up in the dark and came back the next day to finish the clean up. During the 4-5 days they were here, they also took down a large shed and hauled the materials away. Chivarous was always respectful even despite his father yelling at him during the cleanup. I would say small jobs might be fine, but they don't have the equipment readily available for large jobs on top of the issue of not having insurance. The damage was never even discussed outside of when it came time to pay for the job. I just kept being told that they "can fix it".

Second, when a tree branch came thru my roof on a Saturday. Jason came quickly when I contacted him about the tree thru the roof. He assembled the crew and they came the next day on a Sunday. The crew came when they said they would, worked efficiently and safely, did what was promised and answered my questions. In about 4 hours they had removed the tree from the roof and cut down the remaining tree that was in danger of falling. Then they took away all of the debris. All for a reasonable price, considering it was the weekend and an emergency.

I will assume some responsibility as the customer and increase the stars rating because this was a verbal quote and we should have asked for written documentation before the job started. Additionally, not sure about any "trade" or free service rendered in exchange for not putting the fence back because of vines. When I reached out no one said oh there was an agreement or we spoke to your wife and informed her we weren't putting that back. We were just told someone will be out there to fix it. i was never notified of a check issue or that there was an issue with any payment. I never heard anything actually so I can only assume you were fully paid there wasn't an issue. Also my wife was told she could pay by card during the quote (which was the plan) but at the end was then told no she must pay by check so she had to scramble to find checks. In the end: We did get three large trees cut down as asked. You will get the service you paid for, trees cut down and removed. I would just ensure any quote is written and documented so there aren't any miscommunications in what is expected at the end of the job. That becomes text back and forth and phone calls after they leave the job site. Communication-Communication-Communication would seem to be the largest issue here.

The cut in to my brand new green carpet, the cement boarder around the batting cage was broke in 9 places. I had over 10 12x12 walking pavers that they broke. They did not tell me anything was wrong. I can't say enough good things about this company! They're at my home just about every other week, and I never have to call to ask if they're coming. I'm able to relax and pretty much forget about my lawn because I know it's being taken care of. There's no goofing off from any of the crew members. Each member seems to have their own job, which makes the service so much more efficient. The main concern I had about hiring someone was that my pool enclosure does not have a guard on it. So, I was quick to tell Will not to weed eat along the edge, I would have my husband do it so they don't tear the screen. My concern was addressed immediately, and I was assured they could do it and not tear my screen. We've been a client for a few months, now, and they weed eat along the edges of my enclosure without any mistakes. I'm thrilled! That's one less task for the hubs! We also hired Will's Lawn Care to help my mother-in-law who was in a bind. She had just moved into a 55+ mobile home community, where the previous owner had rocks for a lawn. My MIL received a notice from the park that she had a certain amount of time to get sod planted. We called Will and he promptly helped us out with the service. Within a week or two, he had his whole team laying sod at my MIL house and was done within hours. Then, he took it a step further and checked on her lawn since he was in the area with another client. That little something extra is just not heard of anymore. The customer service is fantastic, and I've never expected to find such an incredible company. I hope and pray they never leave the area. I'm convinced there's no other lawn company out there like Will's Lawn Care & Tree Service. Will, if you're reading this - we have a list going for tree work this winter! :)

I had several companies come out and give me an estimate for my live oak tree that was damaged by…read morethe terrible wind storm we had. I have what's called included bark where two trucks have grown together and split apart from each other. After doing some research this job shouldn't cost more than it does to cut the tree down. Involves cleaning up the canopy of dead branches or sucker branches to allow more airflow through and then cabling about 3 trunks together to prevent them from swaying in the wind. The first estimate only wanted to cut my tree down which is not what I wanted. I want to save the tree. He quoted $3100 to completely remove the tree. The next two quotes to cable and rod the tree was $4500 and $4000. Again they wanted more to do this than to actually cut the tree down. Which my first estimate to cut the tree down was my baseline price. My son-in-law recommended Mitch Drake so I gave them a call and he quoted me $2500 to complete the job. Now we're finally below that baseline of $3100 I was looking for. He told me during the estimate they were several weeks out from doing the job. Finally I got a call they were coming on a specific day which was acceptable. Talking about a crew, there was about eight of them on the job. Between trimmers, clean up crew as the limbs dropped and another that climbed the tree and another that cabled the tree. They have a lot of equipment with them between a bucket lift, Bobtail, and a massive chipper with a high box truck that captured all the wood chips. Very impressive operation. They recommend several limbs to be removed to take some weight off to prevent further splitting. They cleaned up everything when the job was done. Very very satisfied with their work. Highly recommend them.
