Of the two surgeons you've recommended as in-network and capable of performing the services I need, the results are as follows I visited Dr Justin Atherton on 11/28 -- it seems he has not performed this operation in a professional setting (he left Med School in July and has not performed it out of a training setting) - lovely guy and very nice, but I am not comfortable or confident in putting my care in the hands of someone with zero experience I visited Dr Mitchells office today on 12/9 where I was informed THEY DO NOT TAKE MY POLICY AND ARE NOT IN NETWORK. Motive Health claims to be "on your side," but in reality, it feels like just another insurance…read morescam. They promote their Quick Pay incentive by telling you that calling ahead could save you money--and that they may even pay you an incentive. What they conveniently fail to explain is that you may be expected to pay something like $1,200 in cash upfront before receiving anything back. Who has that kind of extra money available when they are already paying more than $2,000 every month in insurance premiums for coverage that seems to pay for absolutely nothing? Calling this an "incentive" while hiding the financial burden and additional hoops customers must jump through is misleading and absurd. Motive Health is no better than the insurance companies it pretends to be different from. The entire system is unnecessarily complicated, the customer service is asinine, and the supposed benefits are nearly impossible for an average family to use. Complete garbage.
