The staff is typically courteous and knowledgeable, and I've bought a lot of software here with minimal complaints. Especially if you're looking for used games, this is the place to go. Unfortunately there's something to avoid as well. Don't bother purchasing any used hardware from this store--specifically game consoles. I purchased a used PS2 slim as a Christmas gift and the person who rang me up specifically told me that he himself had tested it and that it was in perfect working order. It was not. It would not read standard (silver DVD-rom) PS2 discs, not to mention the first memory card slot that wouldn't detect anything. A few weeks later I'm discovering that my fat PS2 that I bought from them has either a dying laser assembly or that the potentiometers are out of wack. It locks up when trying to read video data even in a silver disc (Metal Gear Solid 2 for example) and black or blue discs (CD-rom games, mostly PS1 but blue PS2 discs are also CD discs) struggle to run and are rife with sound bugs. I have two busted PS2s on my workbench and spent $50 bucks at Disc Replay to avoid the hassle, but now it appears that I spent $50 bucks at retail for another project. That's not what I paid for. This is turning into a pretty specific review, but this a serious issue. I already knew that the PS2 is notorious for its long-term (fixable) failure rate, but they assured me that they only accept specific model numbers and test them. Semi-anecdotal is that when I was exchanging the broken gift PS2, there were two other customers I saw in the half hour I was there returning faulty hardware. If they're not going to test hardware properly they should not sell it in the first place. This is not fun to write. I want people to support this store because I like it but this is a serious issue. Given the chance that some employee reads this: if you're testing out a PS2, test it with a black- backed PS1 disc, a blue-backed PS2 disc, and a silver-backed PS2 disc. Boot each of the three. If the laser is aligned correctly, configured correctly, and not weakened, they should boot in a short amount of time--PS2 discs should boot from reset without the system ever reaching the browser menu. Let each game run, in game, for two minutes. Listen for sound bugs, and make sure the game is working. If all three discs run, that's a saleable PS2! If not, it isn't. This might come across as a niche thing but it's not acceptable for a store that sells used games. read more

Store is dirty and smells of B.O. and cheap cologne (Axe?). Employees are RUDE and clueless - or just don't care!? Do NOT bother calling to ask questions!?! The selection is well picked-over and what is left is junk or OVERPRICED. Do NOT bother trading because they give NOTHING - pennies on the dollar yet, turn around and mark the same items OVERPRICED!?! Just plain SAD. read more

The trade in value is shit and the movies are overpriced and scratched. I'm better off buying movies at Walmart or Sams or just renting them. They gave me less than a dollar for trade in per movie last time. I think it was about .50 cents or some bull. They took a bunch and paid me nothing. I should have left with my property. read more

AMAZING store, cheap, good games and other great miscellaneous items (headphones, media branded soda, etc.) the workers are really nice and understanding, it's a perfect place to go if you need a game or even if you want to buy a classic movie. The only reason I gave them 3 stars instead of 5 is because the quality of the products is affected by the how they take care of it. I went to go buy a Sega Genesis and the woman just pulled one of a leaning pile of Segas, also the floors aren't vaccumed well and often dirty (one time I found a moldy fry under the CD rack) so the prices are good but they could clean up a bit. read more

I really enjoy shopping at this location. 9 out of every 10 visits are fantastic. Store is relatively clean, well stocked, and most of them employees are friendly and provide excellent customer service. Usually they have what I'm looking for. That being said there are a few negatives. A couple employees are a bit rude. For example my sons 3ds died and I couldnt afford a new one so I took my ps4 in. The employee who helped me was really almost rude about it and talking down to me because I'm trying to do something nice for my son. They offered me roughly what I would ask for selling it privately, I just didn't really I appreciate being treated that way. Other than that and a couple unfriendly employees its a really great store. read more

I am giving 5 stars for THE COMPANY so, let's be clear. As far as this location is concerned it is the worst one in my area when it comes to customer service. Unfriendly, inattentive, and no knowledge of majority of the products they buy, sell, & trade. When talking to an associate about a product, they always have to ask someone else for the answer or give you an answer that later on ends up being incorrect. The owner of this store is an awesome guy. He definitely knows how to handle business but, if I lived closer to a different store I would definitely visit that one instead. Overall if it weren't for distance & the reasonable prices of the company's goods. I would give less stars. read more

I love the video games here I buy all my games here like assassins creed sinacyes and battle field hardline and others
