Scheduling the move with Nicole was easy and their prices are fantastic. (If you think movers are expensive, consider the work and time they are saving you!! It is truly a bargain and these guys work their butts off.) However the day of the move due to some miscommunication on both sides (mine and theirs), things went a little sideways. Our move was important, I'm sure everyone's is, but ours was even more important than we would normally feel a move is, due to the fact our daughter is having surgery tomorrow morning and we really needed to be settled. It just wasn't possible to plan more ahead for the situation. When everything goes well and a company does a great job, that's always nice. But when things don't go perfectly and a company has to respond, the way they respond is very telling. Tetris dropped everything to make our move happen, sent us a crew of 3 (one more than originally booked) who all worked hard for long hours on a Sunday, and by the way they handled it all, it was obvious things typically go smoothly for them because they were so organized and able to pivot the way they did. Brian did a good job coordinating the estimate and logistics, which included getting his crew and truck from south Sacramento to the Bay Area early enough to get packed, back to Rocklin, set up furniture in the apartment and drop off the equivalent of 12 large boxes at a storage facility, all by 7 pm. To do this, he recommended adding a 3rd person to the crew, which ended up being essential for success. On the day of the move, the crew left promptly at 7 am. They communicated on arrival at 9:15 when they departed, but traffic issues pushed the arrival to 10:15. They overcame this with the additional crew member, and were loaded up by 12:30 and on their way back to Rocklin. We found NO damage to any of the items. The entire move was well organized, with a crew that was polite, and personable. We heartily recommend this company.
