Also they got rid of the family parking area next to the kids church area so I had to park far in the parking lot with all my littles and baby's which is a hassle when you have to take them through a busy parking lot with lots of cars .. might have to find a new church because of this because it's not safe walking through all that parking jam with a bunch of kids. I hope they bring back the family parking area :/

He posted political…read moreposts which caused a huge wave of strife as Rick Warren always shared why this should never be done as it's very alienating. I was always proud that this church stayed out of politics as we wanted to open our doors warmly to all seekers. I addressed this concern and only one campus minister took the time to address it with me. I used to be deeply embedded and employed at a church years ago.. the writing is on the wall as to what type of man this new pastor is.. he refused to remove his post despite it being so polarizing and harmful. I'm sad to say I left the church. It's been very upsetting to say the least.. this church is not for what it used to be. The church never helped me in speaking to any of the elders despite my requests... I was 10% tithing at the time too. All I can do is throw my hands up. I volunteered at this church, took the classes, lead small group and workshops.. didn't just attend worship. Some day the pastor will have to answer as to why his ego made him drive away people from their home church and/or closed opportunities to share the gospel just because he refused to take down his post. I know there are others who left for the same reasons. What happened to the thoughtful "leaders" of my church? Truly sad.

I can't say enough about OCEANS Church and what it has meant to my life and my family…read more There is something truly special happening here. The presence of God is real, the message is clear, and the leadership is operating with purpose and conviction. I genuinely believe that Mark is a once-in-a-generation leader. He teaches straight from the Bible, but in a way that connects directly to everyday life--real struggles, real decisions, real growth. I've lost count of how many times my family has walked into a service carrying something heavy from the week, only to hear Mark speak directly into that exact situation. It's not vague or surface-level--it's specific, timely, and deeply impactful. It feels like God is using him to speak truth right into the middle of our lives. Mark would never say this about himself, but I truly believe he is a prophet of God. There is a humility in the way he leads, paired with a boldness in delivering truth, that is rare. It's not about him--it's about pointing people to Jesus and helping them live it out in a real way. The reason OCEANS Church has grown so quickly is simple: the leadership is doing big things in the name of Jesus Christ. They are not just talking about faith--they are living it, building it, and calling others into it. If you are looking for a church where the Word of God is alive, relevant, and powerfully delivered, this is it.

The congregation has that glow as you enter the building and you can feel that love that only comes from Christ surround your every sense of being. The worship leader Pastor Frankie led us all in amazing worship and my heart and those of others around me were proclaiming love, commitment and thankfulness in our voices. It was beautiful. The prayerful warriors who led us in all in prayer filled our hearts with uplifting words and praise to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Pastor Aaron started the sermon opening his and all hearts who welcomed the receipt of the love he shared in words inspired by our living God. Today's sermon was centered on friendship and the very scripturally supported aspects of recognizing, building, nurturing, encouraging and teaching as Not to Screw Up Friendship. The sermon touched on many Proverbs that reinforce our roles in identifying true friends and those who are not equally yoked or may be evil which can and will corrupt good habits. Being able to surround ourselves with like minded Godly individuals who seek to share the gospel in the fruits that can only come from God is so important in life as it is evident in society that we face forces of evil that can pull us into taking the wrong path or road. Pastor Aaron has a beautiful heart for Christ and as a first time visitor I saw and felt the kindness of the many folks I met during my visit. The Children's ministry had a bake sale which was also a blessing to see even though as one who is trying to avoid such tempting sweets I had to stop by an pay tribute to their mission. Reading in Proverbs daily will certainly be a goal of mine as I have not been to service in a while and there is really no excuse for not making time for God. We have been traveling and working on the home and it can easily consume one's schedule putting priorities out of sync and certainly not in alignment with the most important factors relative to our purpose in life. The church body is small and intimate which is a blessing when re-entering a practice that should never be placed on a shelf. If you are looking for a loving Christ Centered Church Body that teaches truth and practical application I highly recommend Calvary Chapel Foothill Ranch.

The folks here are simple and non-judgmental. You owe it to yourself to visit this small church just once in order to see what a church was meant to be.
