She told me I'd have to come back closer to the date of the event but hurry because they fill up quickly. Yea ok. 2 weeks later, yesterday, I went back to order in person. A different employee (early 20s) came up to me and I said I want to order the cake. She points to the signage and says order online. I told her it's custom and I wanted to select the color options. She told me to do it online and I can edit it at check out. I said last time I was here, the employee got out the iPad and was assisting me with customizing it. She told me she'd "make a one time exception" and moved to go get the iPad. I told her to forget it and walked away because her attitude was about to earn her more than she could handle. Today I ordered on line, called the bakery to customize, because guess what, I could only customize the color of the message. And now this person asks how long ago did I place the order (um, 2 minutes ago) we'll call back because it takes a few hours before the order will be seen in the system. Why it's so inconvenient to help a customer customize a cake when you WORK. IN. THE. BAKERY is mind blowing. I didn't go to the tire section and order a cake. I went to the bakery. I'll gladly go elsewhere.

The MinuteClinic is more reliable treating my insured family than our own covered family doctor. I have been so pleased that I've been able to count on CVS. Whether it's in the MinuteClinic being seen as a person rather than looked through as merely a number to check off. The pharmacy staff has put up with me graciously through the years with my own medical struggles and when my children are sick. I like tagging along because I always find an unexpected treasure. They have some of the coolest treats and treasures. I love trying things I've never had before... along with my standards and favorites. I found a wonderful pastry today called "Danish Kringle". It was really great. Almost ate the entire thing as soon as I got home. The pumpkin filling was excellent, the pastry was tender and flaky... Really great! I found a bottle (glass) of "Triple Ginger Brew" with awesome ginger flavor. Then I got a couple bottles of my favorite Italian red wine " Susumaniello". All in all it was a good day at "Trader Joe's".
