While visiting to get some Sudafed, (yes, behind the counter stuff that you need to show a license for...‍), I noticed some of the medication we give our dog. I asked about pricing, and because I'm a plus member, the prices are much better than what we pay at our vet for the same exact stuff. The pharmacy team was extremely supportive and friendly!! I attempted to order a cake and they made it so goddamn impossible. The first time i went to the store in person. She got the iPad out and was helping me customize it but couldn't finalize it as it was too far in advance (4 weeks). She told me I'd have to come back closer to the date of the event but hurry because they fill up quickly. Yea ok. 2 weeks later, yesterday, I went back to order in person. A different employee (early 20s) came up to me and I said I want to order the cake. She points to the signage and says order online. I told her it's custom and I wanted to select the color options. She told me to do it online and I can edit it at check out. I said last time I was here, the employee got out the iPad and was assisting me with customizing it. She told me she'd "make a one time exception" and moved to go get the iPad. I told her to forget it and walked away because her attitude was about to earn her more than she could handle. Today I ordered on line, called the bakery to customize, because guess what, I could only customize the color of the message. And now this person asks how long ago did I place the order (um, 2 minutes ago) we'll call back because it takes a few hours before the order will be seen in the system. Why it's so inconvenient to help a customer customize a cake when you WORK. IN. THE. BAKERY is mind blowing. I didn't go to the tire section and order a cake. I went to the bakery. I'll gladly go elsewhere. read more

The paper towels and toiletries are the only thing I buy from this location. The food and produce quality is way below subpar for a Sam's Club! The employees don't care at this location it shows in the overall look and food quality in this place. The Avon , The Oakwood and Cuyahoga Falls locations are much more appealing. read more

I went to this Sam's Club for 2 new tires and gas, but had such a bad experience trying to get gas, I decided to get my new tires at Conrad's instead. They have ALL lanes approaching the gas pumps going one way, regardless of which side you needed to be on. My gas cap is on the driver side and I needed the pump to be on that side to fill up. All of these lanes were full, most with another car waiting. The other lanes were completely empty, but because of the one-way lanes, they were not being used. Of the 12 available pumps, only 6 were being used, even though there were lines forming at the "usable pumps". I feel like this Sam's Club (store #4846) does not value its member's/customer's time or convenience, and would rather they needlessly wait in lines. When my membership expires, I will support only club stores that respect my time. BJ's or Costco, see you next October. This particular store has only a three star rating, so I will try other locations in hopes of a better experience. read more

Yeah I know I think it's weird to give a Sam's Club a review but I really enjoy this particular Sam's Club. It's always easy to get in and get out but very rarely will I go into Sam's Club and spend under $200 LOL If you are into take-and-bake pizzas I highly recommend getting a pizza from Sam's Club. They're only 699 for a pizza that is 16 in. I find that either my palate is garbage or this is some of the best pizza I have had in a long time. They use a good quality mozzarella plenty of sauce and the toppings are never ever sparse. I get it if you are a pizza purist you're going to call me crazy for going to Sam's Club for pizza but when you have a family to feed or your kids are having some friends over it's a really cheap and delicious solution to feeding a bunch of kids. I bypass the checkout Lines by using the Sam's Club Scan & Go app where I have my credit card already in there and I scan everything with my phone and when I'm done I don't have to wait in line to check out I just click pay and it pops up this little barcode thing so the fella at the door can scan and do whatever he does to the cart I really want to think that they probably count everything in the cart but I know they don't LOL Overall they're very good with returns and you really should avoid going to Sam's Club on the weekends as it is insanely busy however I like to go in there and weekday mornings when there's nobody there and they give you free coffee and danishes read more

I just love the Sam's club on Diamond center in Mentor! Where else can a person go to be verbally accosted by cell phone sales people!! Yes walk into Same's. club and there they are...in your face sales. Whenever I come into the store I take an immediate left so as to avoid them. Yes this left turn is an inconvenience for me as I'm not in the market for a mattress or office supplies, but its worth it to avoid the AGGRESSIVE marketing that the store condones! Talk to the young college educated manager...he doesn't care! He says...its corporate nothing he can do! I call bullshit on this. I would encourage anyone visiting this Sam's club to take these sales people up on their insistent sales pitch and waste their time for awhile. When I was in this store last week to pick up a few things on my lunch break, I noticed 5-10 customers walking around with no mask at all. I also saw several workers wearing their masks under their noses. When called the club to ask about customers not wearing masks, I was told that they are not enforcing the mask policy any longer. read more

We have had a membership here for quite some time. I believe it is $45 for the standard membership & it includes two cards (two people could share this). Recently we have been utilizing their app benefits and haven't needed to carry our standard cards. It's so much easier on us.. as many times as I clean out my purse.. it helps not to worry about carrying an additional card. You can pull up your electronic membership card on the app to enter the store & check out. Samples are given out on the weekends! So you can snack while you shop. They are also busier because of this. Go on a weeknight instead of you prefer to take your time and have space to shop. Our favorite section is their bakery. Their fresh baked bread, pies & cookies are a hit for dinners, parties or potlucks. Their custom cakes & cupcakes are also very good & affordable. They do sheet cake or two tier. Usually with only a 24hr notice! Stop over paying for special two tier cakes.. this is where you should get them. read more

Ok so the prices are good for 124 rolls of toilet paper and 80 paper towels but really at that rate you go what twice a year? The prices are ridiculously hard to figure out to compare cost wise at least for me and maybe thata just my think but what we did buy was just meh. I mean jimmy dean breakfast sandwiches - cant mess those up - 6 pack mulit peppers and some tasty tomatoes - again yummy. Fruit - fruit - cut uo fruit but their prepackaged deli ham was nasty - the 1.5 pound comtainer became dog food, the prepackaged swiss was dry - milk and oj were cheaper at giant eagle (yes you read that right) and so was the fresh meats and salad. My 3 year old twins said the m&m cookies were icky - and they had no flavor but the rolls were ok. We went with a member (my mom) to try their wipes and diapers but ler diaper they are 18 cents while others on sale come to 15 cents (when we had the twins finding cheap diapers was my new Sunday Brunch ) I still love their $1.50 Nathans dog and soda (cherry coke in the fountain is life) but I can handle not being a member. read more

I have been shopping at Mentor Sam's Club for ten years. We shop there all the time stopping in several times a week for various items whether out of necessity, leisure or pleasure. Never have I been so humiliated as today when I stopped in to purchase water for our high school field trip. We take forty to fifty students to Columbus, Ohio each year for a business oriented competition. The trip takes two days and requires an overnight stay. We always provide food and water for the students which usually comes to about five cases of water. When I went to pick up the water at Sam's I was stopped by a sign that said, "Only two cases per membership." Now, I understand the concerns and hype that everyone is having over COVID-19. Regardless about my feelings on the issue, I easily could have purchased my required water over several days had I known there would be a requirement like this. We could have even split the purchase between several teachers. However, the notice was a surprise and we were going to be leaving on the trip before anyone else could make the stop. I went to the help desk to ask for an exception or waiver believing they would happily provide the students with their need. Instead, I was told, "No exceptions!" I asked to talk to a manager. She also said, "No exceptions!" I had proof of the conference registration, the school's field trip permission, the school tax form, my own school ID and several other documents that would verify my claim. She repeated, "No exceptions!" She said the mandate came from corporate and she had to follow the mandate. I suggested she call corporate to see if they would grant me the waiver. She refused and only said, "Call 1-800-Walmart." I asked her if we could go to her office and we could make the call together. She refused. So, then I asked her if we could go somewhere to talk where people couldn't hear us. She led me into the automotive department. I tried several times to reach corporate through the number she gave me except it kept giving me a menu to enter contests to win free cruises or get free stuff by making a shipping payment or to talk to a representative if you are older than 50 years old. If I pressed the wrong number it would hang up and I would have to redial. She stood there with me for over five minutes while I made several attempts. On my last attempt I thought I would put it on speakerphone so she could hear the problems I was having. By the time that call went through it was past corporate hours and the recording said to try again tomorrow during business hours. I asked her again to use her connections to make the call. She claimed she uses the same number 1-800-Walmart. So, every time "K" needs to contact corporate office she's willing to spend her valuable time pressing menu numbers regarding issues that don't pertain to her phone call or the store's needs. I don't think so. I call her K because that is the only information she would give me about herself. I'm sending this letter to corporate in hopes they might help their managers get their customer priorities in order. On the other hand - K needs to get a meaningful life. read more

MENTOR SAMS CLUB I just witnessed some of the WORST customer service I've seen in years!!! I'm walking in behind a woman who was on a knee walker from recent foot surgery. She asked the greeter for an electric cart and was told she could NOT use one because they weren't fully charged!!! She proceeded to ask if they could have someone walk with her and push her cart. They told her NO! As I'm standing there witnessing all of this I can see the woman is very upset. She proceeds to try and pull one of the shopping carts behind while on one leg. There was a young man stocking strawberries up front and had a huge mess going on. The lady hit some strawberries on the floor and about wiped out. At this point she is really upset. I grabbed her cart and told her I would walk with her to help her. She was very grateful for the help (and I was happy I could help) I get her to the checkout and said I would help out to her car. She insisted that she could handle it from there. I did grab one of the CSS's to assist her out to the car, have no idea if the did or not! Point here is to shop at Sams Club you have to be a member it cost you money for the privilege to shop in there clubs. I have been a business plus member since 1996 I pay over a $100 a year to shop there. After what I witnessed today I do NOT believe I will renew my membership next year! read more

To the nice woman who helped me today at mentor Sam's club. As in was driving to Sam's club I called ahead to make sure there was an electric cart for me to use, since a couple of times there were none that were working. The gentleman that answered the phone said he saw three and he would make sure one was put aside for me. As I entered the store and went to get on one of the three carts they had, the elderly greeter informed me thatbincould not use them. That they were all out of order. Inreplylied with my question, can someone push a cart for me so that I could get a few items. The elderly gentleman explained that it's against company policy to do so, that if inwantbsomeine to do my shoppingbinhave to call in my order. I explained that I do not want someinentondo my shopping, that I even called ahead to make sure there was a cart available. He did apologize, and said at least you are young, you'll be able to use a regular cart. So here I am on my knee roller trying to push myself on the roller and pull a shopping cart. I decided to go to customer service to see if they can help me. And in was told the same thing. That it is against their company policy, and if I did not like their policy they would cancel my membership for me. I then asked to speak to a manger, and I explained the above to him. I could see he did not care. He was maybe 20 years old. He said that his employees have theirnwork stations and that he could not allow any employee to help me due to it being against company policy. At this time a woman named Wendy came up and said that she would help me because she has had that happen to here a few years back. This woman was so nice. As we were walking towards produce, an employee pushing a huge cart of strawberries spilled his cart and her and I almost got hit. Her and I joked about how it's against their company policy to help. But it's in their hand book to try and kill customers with strawberries. I wish I would have gotten this lady's phone number. She was so nice. And she helped me see that there are still decent people in the horrible world. read more

It wasn't Nancy's brand, so hope they are as good. Great place to get some holiday party supplies - including a huge fresh veggie and dip tray. I enjoy this club for many reasons, however my tire department experience was terrible! I waited from 8am to 2pm to have my tires installed. 6 hours! If they can't install them they shouldn't sell them. The management was not helpful in this situation either....they knew of the problem however they chose to hide rather that help. Will not go through the trouble of buying tires here again. read more

We travel all over and go to Sam's Club whenever we get a chance. They have great meat products. Love their rib eye steaks. The meat is so tender. Other stores you can get the steak, cook it a perfect med rare and it is tough. This store is very clean and the people there are very friendly. Oh yeah! Don't forget to have the $1.50 hot dog deal. I used to enjoy coming here shopping and you can eat at the small food court. However the food court is ALWAYS short staffed and you wait in line forever only for them to not have what you want. This is the 3rd time my Daughter has not got her frozen yogurt and they were just about out of pizza and the 2 girls were running around trying to wait on people and make pizza to put in the case. They were doing the best they could. It would be nice for them to get some help. read more
