Do. Not. Go. Here!!!!!! I very rarely give 1 star reviews, but this one takes the cake. The workers are immensely rude. They arbitrarily decide to close their fitting rooms (once my family members were the only ones in the entire store, and they said their fitting rooms were closed because they were understaffed, but there were multiple workers). They have yelled at my family members too, and were condescending. They also arbitrarily don't allow returns. I'm certain that the workers are racist, but even if they're not, they're at the very least nasty people who obviously shouldn't be in retail. If you want cheap clothing, I would recommend going to any of the other locations! read more

i love dfwh...especially this store in delaware, oh. the layout, the color themed racking, the designer racks all make it feel like it is much more upscale than some of the stores where things look like a bad thrift store. i have a couple of complaints...i miss the clearance racks, and quality of the merchandise is less high end than some of the other stores. don't get me wrong, i love the chico's, but there are differences...hope you will note that it would be nice to make those ritz-brands available to all your stores. my husband really likes the comfy chairs in the henderson store, and the wheeled shopping baskets make it much nicer...the quantity of the new stuff is also not being seen in the delaware store...you cannot compare these stores if you don't treat them all the same. i would say the other shoppers in delaware and i really would appreciate seeing more equality in the shopping...i do not always have time to drive to your other locations...please re-evaluate your distribution and perks. read more

I went back this weekend to update after reading Charlie H's review, and unfortunately, it is true, the quality of the merchandise has dropped drastically since opening weekend. Blemished and damaged items are integrated into the main racks and the price tags do not reflect any difference between damaged and undamaged items. It's still a bargain compared to shopping at mall stores ($9-15 for tops and shirts, $15-22 for dresses, $12-16 for slacks), but you'll need a lot of time and patience to sift through the items. Tops and blouses seemed more susceptible to damage/discoloration than the pants and dresses, but still, inspect everything very carefully and try it on before purchasing! read more

The last few times I've been here have been absolute HORRIBLE experiences and here's why. It started when I spent over an hour looking for clothes with my daughter. Around 8:15PM, we wanted to try them on. Store policy states that fitting rooms close at 8:45 (15 minutes before closing). So while we were waiting by the fitting rooms well before closing, many of the store workers looked over and made eye contact. I assumed they would come over to open the rooms but they never came over. 10 minutes later, I found the guy I made eye contact with and asked him to open a room just to be told "Fitting rooms are closed". I was clearly waiting and the workers saw that, and just let us continue standing there wasting our time!!! During the entire time I was here, there was no announcement about no fitting rooms. Somebody should have told us when we walked in the front doors that the fitting rooms were closed for the ENTIRE day! We decided to ask another worker and he said the same thing, fitting rooms were closed. Just note that we only asked questions because we were very very confused as to why we couldn't try anything on. We then heard the first worker tell the second one "don't look at the or talk to them" and they decided TO TALK AS IF WE COULDN'T HEAR THEM. In obvious frustration, we went to the front register to ask if there was any way they can open one because we had been at the store for an hour and a half (while holding several articles of clothes). The staff proceeded to be VERY RUDE and said there was nothing to be done about it due to "low staff". Let me just say that we were the only customers in the entire store with 4 staff members working. SUCH A WASTE OF OUR TIME. As we were about to leave without buying, the cashier told us we could buy and try at home. If we didn't like it, they could do an exchange. I bought everything I had grabbed and my daughter only bought one thing. The next day, my daughter wanted to do an exchange so we found something exactly the same price as the shirt she bought. However, the store workers would not allow it due to their window of time that you can exchange. We were NOT informed of this and unfortunately, we are not able to come during those times due to our work. We asked them to see if they could do anything and instead, they held up a handwritten sign laying around and the workers repeatedly shouted "Read the sign! Read the sign!" whenever we tried to say anything! They were very rude and no words could get to them. Again, SUCH A WASTE OF OUR TIME. I usually enjoy coming to discount fashion warehouse but I will NOT be coming back to this location for a while! Overall, being "short staffed" is no excuse to be rude to customers and there needs to be more transparency with the policies, including policies that come up day-of due to being short staffed. read more

I love the chain of DFWH in general. But this store is lacking... mainly in organization. It's the largest store, but the bulk of it is walled off for what looks like warehouse stock. The actual shopping floor is smaller than the South Columbus location, and also probably smaller than the West Columbus location. This means that the stock they do have is absolutely packed in tight. I had problems moving things aside on the rack to shop. Also, it's the least-well organized. I found everything from an XS to a 5X in the same area on a rack. It made shopping very challenging, and I eventually gave up. The employees here also seemed really indifferent. They were just shooting the breeze with each other and not really paying attention to customers (at least in the dressing room area). And considering how disorganized the store was (with all sizes mixed every which way), their time certainly would have been better spent going through the racks and re-shelving items correctly to make for easier shopping. After now checking out all of the locations (except Gahanna - as I heard it was really small), I would rank them: 1. South 2. Dublin 3. West 4. This one read more

Oh my god. This is the only place ever to buy bras. Okay, as far as I can tell, this place takes overstock, damaged stock, returns, etc. from a bunch of overpriced mall stores, definitely including Victoria's Secret and Express. Their pricing structure here is pretty much set ($11 for a bra, and either $18 or $22 for a dress, for instance) and therefore the prices really don't reflect the reason they have the merchandise, its original price, or anything else -- so you have to be careful that you're not getting something damaged, and for that matter not everything here is a good deal. But there are certainly some bargains, if you're into that kind of thing. And even if you're not into that kind of thing, it's still probably a good place to get bras, which I feel take that much shopping every time anyway, and are about 30% of their original prices here. read more

I wish I could give ZERO stars l. I made a purchase and I returned to have the sensor removed & the woman removed the sensor and a huge holes magically appeared after the sensor was removed. It looked like the top was ripped when she was trying to remove the sensor. She claimed she didn't do it but I was unable to watch her remove it so I asked to exchange it and she told me no exchanges because that's what it says on the receipt. The receipt only says "All sales final" it says nothing about no exchanges. If you shop here inspect everything and ask them to remove any sensors before you purchase. My first time ever visiting by word of mouth and I'm so happy that I went today!! Designer dresses for only $6 each!! Yes I said $6!! I bought a set of earrings for only $3. I can't wait to go back. From a men's perspective, this store has one thing going for it: I can casually bring it up when my wife wants to go on some ridiculous shopping spree at some other, more traditional store. Thankfully, she actually buys into my reasoning most times. I'm much happier letting her try and buy a million different outfits when they only cost a few dollars here and there. The men's section, though, is pretty crappy. Occasionally they have something I would wear and in my size, but that kind of thing seems to go very fast. I'm not into the isles upon isles of "too hipster for the hipsters I know" Express shirts and skinny jeans that they never seem to run out of. Of course, as has been said repeatedly, the quality is not always there in some of their stock; a small trade off, in my opinion. read more

I have shopped both stores, Plain City & Northland. I wish they would separate all the damaged clothes from the good ones. I get home to find several items that have damage & I thought that I checked everything thoroughly, but they had placed the little plastic pieces that hold the price tag through the damaged holes so you couldn't see it. Don't think it's worth the all time searching every single item then getting it home only to find it damaged. You are out the money. And it's not all cheap, the tops are $9.00 & 12.00 so that's not a good deal if it can't be fixed or returned. I'm out $40.00 so my savings, were not a savings at all. I was there for 3 hours & checked all of items & still got stuck. So yes some things are a good deal & some not, but there is so much of the items that are damaged, for every 10 to 12 items picked up you might find one good one. Good luck. read more

I picked up coupons from Golf Depot on Science Blvd. on July 8 worth 10% off purchases. Was real excited to grab an armful of items on July 11 and then be able to use the 10% coupon. Michel looked at the coupon and rang up the goods. Then some chick walked up and said the coupon was only good for last week. What? They refused to honor the coupon. I went back to Golf Depot a week later and the coupons were still there. I walked back into DFWH, selected items, presented the. I upon and was told the same thing. Not going back and I'm posting complaints for deceptive advertising by DFWH. It is only 10% but I had been deceived for walking in, and they've been give two opportunities to make it right. I don't know what the other ladies are complaining about: this outlet store is GREAT!!!! The key word is "outlet". Yes, a few items are damaged, the AC wasn't on, and there are no shopping carts, but that is because they keep prices LOW. The only other store like this in Ohio is Gabriel Brothers and I feel the quality control and selection is much better at DFW. Also, things are organized by size and you can tell employees are constantly putting the store in order for us. You will love it, as long as you keep in mind it is not the mall; it is DFW. read more

Meh. This place has so much potential in my mind... but it was a let down for me. The warehouse space is HUGE (think: Walmart) but the racks of clothes weren't that cheap. Most of the clothes were priced between $15-25 for last season or slightly damaged clothes from stores like Express, the Limited and Victoria's Secret. They had a very large selection of women's plus sized clothing. It was fun to go once-- but I don't think I'll go back. Just beware of fast decisions. They do not allow returns or exchanges. Try EVERYTHING on Before buying. Look over everything you are considering buying especially the super discounted items with a fine tooth comb. I've come home to find holes and flaws like a missing button or a stain that I completely missed. Also you can find some great stuff for a great price if you are willing to spend the time. I've been twice and wound up there for 2-3 hrs. So all in all its a great option especially for people on a tight budget and time on their hands. Please be curteous of others.dont let your kids run around and be loud and obnoxious. Don't ever crack your gum that's so tacky. Stay home if you're sick. Nobody wants your illness. Quality of clothing lately is just garbage. I realize it is all factory seconds in the men's section, but a lot of merchandize is very visibly damaged and should have just been thrown away. Many items will have giant tears or blood stains. read more
