I'll start by saying this is a great business with huge selection. I went in and picked out what we wanted for our kitchen. Easy to tell what pieces are more expensive by "tiers" if you want to stay on budget. Set up install and the guys that came were great. Somehow they were able to get my huge island piece in. Can't say how happy me and my wife were with everything. This is my second kitchen I've used them on and will be using them again if we ever move. Great selection and price. Now I know they have prefab bathroom counters with sink holes already cut. Sinks, faucets and cabinets available too. Definitely my go to for renovations. Jason read more

Let me start by saying that they have an impeccable selection (rows and rows of different colors!!!) and their customer service is by far the best I've come by. You can tell when people actually enjoy their job and don't push off your questions. Our countertops were installed today without a hitch and they are BEAUTIFUL!!!!! Unfortunately I can't give them a lower rating because they won't allow it. I thought I had hired professionals to install this, but I stead they sent a couple of monkeys to do the job. When installing the counter top, they broke part of it, they notched out an area for the stove top in order to open the oven door. But they didn't allow enough room to get the stove out. I told them about it, and they said they couldn't do anything about it. They tried to blame the installer who installed the cabinets, instead of taking the responsibility on themselves. They also placed the back splash over top of the window sill. They came back out twice, and still didn't fix the problem. They guarantee, if they break the counter top while installing it, they have to replace it. They didn't. read more

I am in the throes of a kitchen remodel and just had to finalize the countertops....and that is what I intended to do today. We had the color all picked out just had to pay. He said to bring a check, if I use card they will charge me the 3% surcharge so I went there this morning with a check....and he looked at it and said 'oh....you wrote one check for the whole thing' I said 'well, yes, you sent me one invoice' he replied 'well you have to pay the installer separately when they come to install'. No one told me that. I was crunched for time, asked what we could do to make it work (no checks with me) he said let me talk to the owner. So he does, comes back and said 'yeah....we need two separate checks can you come back?' I asked why they couldn't just pay the installer and the owner pops in and says very nasty 'If I pay him, it shows as MY revenue and I have to pay the tax and I'm NOT DOING THAT so either come back with separate checks or we can cancel the order! I was about to ask if I could just put the material on my card....and told him that I was sorry, but I didn't know about the separate invoices (kind of weird if you ask me) and he said he didn't care what I was told and that he wasn't going to argue with me.....I'm honestly rather dumbfounded at this point....like....what is happening here....so THEN....he tells me 'LEAVE MY STORE - I DON'T WANT YOUR BUSINESS' and I said it was no problem (I wasn't planning on doing business after the way he spoke to me) - he said then 'I don't like your attitude'. And I said 'well, I don't like your attitude and if that was the way he wanted to conduct himself I didn't want any part of doing business with them again (we were a returning customer mind you). And I walked out....he was still huffing something. Got in my car and was like WHOA - I have NEVER EVER been treated like this before in my entire life this man went from 0-100,000 in ten seconds. I was worried about having to start all over again and being without countertops for a month. I REALLY want the kitchen done before a big event our non profit is planning. When my daughter got home from work we ran to Konkus Marble & Granite and picked out a very similar color and showed our design to them. We find out the materials Discount Granite was charging me for wasn't even correct!! I instantly felt better knowing we were now in the hands of professional, capable people! They will do everything they can to get us installed before our event - and if they can't, I'm so ok with having plywood countertops forever because I KNOW it will be worth the wait and I'm not giving Discount Granite my business ever again and will make certain everyone I know knows too! read more

Absolutely terrible experience. DO NOT BUY countertops from this company. My quartz is scratching and staining super easily which isn't normal for quartz. The owner is now saying that I was told these were imperfect countertops which is a lie. No one explained anything to us. I wish I would have shopped around more. I've been told by multiple companies that they skipped a step in fabrication. Offered to do nothing for us at all. Basically said it's our fault. read more

We heard about discount granite and home supply from a friend of ours who had used them for the cabinets and countertops in his kitchen renovation. My wife and I were renovating our master bathroom, and we had been through hundreds upon hundreds of pre-made vanities online of all price levels. We just couldn't seem to decide on anything. We also went to Lowes and sat down with the bathroom design guy there, but we were frustrated with the lack of available options. Lowes literally only has 5 cabinet options to chose from. When we walked into Discount Granite, Mark sat down and talked us though our cabinet options, and we walked around their warehouse and looked at a bunch of beautiful slabs of granite and marble they have there for you to see and touch. It was a completely different experience than going to Lowes or fooling around online, and Mark's expertise and suggestions were invaluable along the way. Now we have a beautiful, modern, custom designed vanity cabinet with a perfectly cut black granite custom countertop, and it actually cost less than some of the pre-made stuff my wife was looking at online. If you are fooling around online looking at vanities or kitchen cabinets you should check this place out, they will save you time and help you decide! read more

Recommended by son-in-law when we were dealing with sticker shock from big stores (Lowes, Home Depot, Menards). Cost of granite and installation was almost half price here! We loved being able to see and select the exact pieces that would be installed and love the granite we chose! Larry Landrum did installation. He had to drive 75 minutes to our house yet still arrived with a smile on his face. He did a GREAT job installing. Counter looks beautiful and was all we could ever ask for. After hiring Discount Granite to provide a granite countertop, the installation failed and caused significant water damage. The sink separated from the countertop after 8 months. Discount Granite insisted from the very beginning of the conversation that they were blameless and that it must be the fault of the tenant, the plumber, the installer they provided, etc. The installer - who they selected - refused to respond. If your experience is like mine, you will be asked to sign a separate installation agreement with the installer. Good luck getting back in touch with this installer if you have problems. And good luck getting Discount Granite to lift a finger on their side. Buyer beware. read more

Not the best experience with Discount Granite. They had a few mistakes in processing my orders and were NOT willing to correct one of the mistakes. I'd prefer to pay a little more at a Home Depot or Lowe's for a smooth and easy transaction. read more
