Guesses are the cheap plastic handle froze last week and finally broke off. I had to turn off the water outside to stop the geyser. We have dealt with MFRC in the past and trusted their work. So the next morning (Sunday) I called and left a message for them to see if they would fix our issue. I fully did not expect them to return my call until Monday. I received a call from Paul, the owner and he said he'd come out to fix our issue. He did so even though it was on a Sunday and this was out of their service area. He came out and replaced the damaged faucet within 15-20 minutes. Faucet is nicer than the one that was broken and metal - not some cheap plastic thing.
