After moving to Las Vegas from Hawaii, we quickly learned that irrigation systems and watering schedules are very different here! When our front irrigation system stopped working while the backyard system was still running fine, we called Discount Sprinklers, and I'm so glad we did. Dave quickly diagnosed the problem and found loose wires and a disconnected grounding wire in our Rain Bird control panel. I asked to have a new feeder 25 ft line from the manifold replaced because it was old and started developing leaks. Instead he convinced me I need the line under my drive way replaced instead and just patch a couple of small leaks. So now $550 dollars later I have a costly new line under the Driveway , and same stretch I wanted replaced originally is popping up new leaks all over the place and cha-ching another hundred bucks a pop to patch another new leak. We called him to fix a broken sprinkler head that was gushing on the concrete and starving the adjacent grass, and he identified a few other issues with the sprinklers while he was here. He advised my husband on how he could make future repairs on his own. He also walked our entire property and identified two other concerns. One was a bug infestation in several of our trees, and he told my husband exactly where to go to get the best product to resolve the issue, and the other is that we have several leaking valves we were unaware of. (In fact, we recently had a conflict with a landscaping co that was supposed to have finally fixed the problem after 4 visits!)
