As soon as the tow dropped us off, they looked at the truck and told us the issue and told us they could get it fixed for us by the next morning. We received the call the next day at 10:30am that the truck was fixed and ready to be picked up. They even picked my fiancé up from the hotel to go get the truck. The mechanic told us that the owner was at the shop at 7am to work on our truck, knowing that we had the baby and were on our way home asap. I highly recommend this place! We are very thankful to be home!

I found the shop by luck from my google search. Reviews look promising & as I was traveling alone I wanted to find a trusted shop if I could. Well, I did! Grady got me with a tow truck, got my trailer situated at his shop and even let me use his utilities as we had to stay the night to wait on the part. He ended up saving me $300 on the part (my vacuum pump went out) and had us back on the road by the next morning. I wish he wasn't a 3 1/2hr drive to get to otherwise he'd be my new mechanic!! We were calling everyone we could trying to find a mechanic to help with the repair on the car. One of the shops in town referred us to James of Steichen's Service and Repair. He came to us so we didn't have to figure out how to get the car to a shop which was incredible helpful. Not only did he fix the car but he went to hell and back to do it. He was an honest Christian man and communicated well with us the whole time. He made sure the car was safe for us to return home with and went way up and above to do so which included staying up half the night working on it and he charged us next to nothing for all his hard work. We are so grateful for his care and dedication. We know now why he was so highly recommended. My family and I were over 350 miles from home on a camping trip at Suwannee River Rendezvous when our Denali suddenly started running horribly just as we were heading out to the springs. After a quick stop at O'Reilly's to pull the codes (which didn't help much), I asked for a recommendation, and they pointed me to J&W. I'm SO glad they did. I rolled in around 3:15 PM on a Wednesday, explained our situation, and let them know we had to be on the road by the next morning. Most shops would've either turned us away or seen us as an opportunity to charge a premium, knowing we were in a bind. But not J&W. They got us in immediately, diagnosed the issue, fixed it, and had us back on the road by 4:30--just over an hour later! The price was incredibly fair, the service was honest, and the kindness they showed us was unforgettable. Thanks to J&W, our family trip was saved and we were able to enjoy the rest of our time without a hitch. I truly hope I never have car trouble on a camping trip again--but if I do, I know exactly where I'm going. Highly, highly recommend!

William saw we were not going to make it home and told me he would look at it. We limped to his shops 3 mechanics jumped to help but having a 20 year old truck luck was not in our side. So a plan was agreed upon and we got a rental car and left the truck. They drove up to get a rental car He was very conscious about throwing money at my truck We were towing a trailer so when the time came to pickup the truck a major rain storm was going to hit about the same time. They when in the back lot and hooked up the trailer to the truck. That saved me a miserable drive home. William and the rest of the folks are great people. If you are in need you could not ask for a better group to rescue you.

Long story short with my situation was long distance traveling, broke down on a Sunday near this area traveling through the state, had my vehicle towed to another location that was closed, had to leave it there overnight and contacted these folks first thing the next morning from 4 hours away (continued on to our destination via rental car). Not only were they accommodating via the telephone, they went and picked up my truck from the other location, diagnosed it and actually fixed it the same day at a reasonable cost. I had already assumed that my vehicle was going to require extensive work and time to complete it which is why we continued on to our vacation destination but it turns out that it was just a bad injector. Although I was out the added expense on top of my vacation spending it was minimal at best all things considered. They even allowed me to keep my vehicle on their lot for several days prior to pick up. For an out-of-towner I couldn't be happier with the service I received and quick turn around. Vehicle runs like new again and had no issues on my 1200 mile trip back home. I would easily recommend this place to anyone for diesel engine work. Thanks again.

Cost was less than I expected and he was very gracious. My tires are 5 years old and I asked him if I needed to change the other 3. He could have told me yes but instead told me that, based on my driving needs, I don't have to replace until the hot summer weather arrives. It's hard to find kind and honest business owners. 3/20/25 We were…read moreheaded to Tampa for the weekend and got a flat tire a little past exit 460 Jasper, FL. We checked to see the nearest tire shop in the area and Suwannee Valley Tire came up. We called ahead of going there to let them know our issue (bad valve stem) and the directions to getting to their location (across from Hardee's). Upon arriving, they greeted me in the parking lot to help me unload the tire. As confirmed once they reviewed the tire, it was indeed a bad/old valve stem which they also mentioned, shouldn't have been that brittle being the tires were not old at all. They suggested we have our other tires checked out as well to make sure those valves weren't bad too. I must say, they made us feel real comfort in knowing our tire would be fine during the remainder of our trip and we are truly grateful for their professionalism and kind service. I caught them about 10 minutes before closing and they were wanting me to come back in the morning. I didn't have time to do that so they installed them for me. And then hit me with a $60 per tire charge!!!? That is ridiculous! That's more than I paid for the tires! Brand New tires cost 80-90 bucks for crying out loud. They did me super dirty and I would warn others. This was price gouging to the max! No one told me up front that my bill would end up being over $250. I never would have agreed to that! Update.
