3/20/25 We were…read moreheaded to Tampa for the weekend and got a flat tire a little past exit 460 Jasper, FL. We checked to see the nearest tire shop in the area and Suwannee Valley Tire came up. We called ahead of going there to let them know our issue (bad valve stem) and the directions to getting to their location (across from Hardee's). Upon arriving, they greeted me in the parking lot to help me unload the tire. As confirmed once they reviewed the tire, it was indeed a bad/old valve stem which they also mentioned, shouldn't have been that brittle being the tires were not old at all. They suggested we have our other tires checked out as well to make sure those valves weren't bad too. I must say, they made us feel real comfort in knowing our tire would be fine during the remainder of our trip and we are truly grateful for their professionalism and kind service. We still had several hundred miles left ahead of us on a Sunday evening. Lewis Murray Tire appeared closed, but we decided to give them a quick call (the signs said 24/7 service) and were connected to the nicest woman who promised to get someone down to the shop within the hour. She personally arrived with David who got our tire patched and helped us get on our way safely. Probably a little pricy for the late night service but worth every penny to avoid getting the donut spare put on by AAA! We could not be more grateful for their kindness and help in what could have been a huge headache. Highly recommend!

I found the shop by luck from my google search. Reviews look promising & as I was traveling alone I wanted to find a trusted shop if I could. Well, I did! Grady got me with a tow truck, got my trailer situated at his shop and even let me use his utilities as we had to stay the night to wait on the part. He ended up saving me $300 on the part (my vacuum pump went out) and had us back on the road by the next morning. I wish he wasn't a 3 1/2hr drive to get to otherwise he'd be my new mechanic!! And then hit me with a $60 per tire charge!!!? That is ridiculous! That's more than I paid for the tires! Brand New tires cost 80-90 bucks for crying out loud. They did me super dirty and I would warn others. This was price gouging to the max! No one told me up front that my bill would end up being over $250. I never would have agreed to that! Update. It was after hours, so we were able to make it to the shop and we parked in the parking lot till the next morning when they opened. The next morning, they opened up shop and came out immediately to assist us. They had the tires we needed in stock and was able to get them all, we replaced 3 tires, and all were installed within an hour. Knowing that we needed to replace the tires we told them to move forward without even asking about the price. As we waited, they advised us of a nearby restaurant in case we were hungry. We decided to go to the restaurant, in walking distance and it was excellent. As we waited, we worried about the price of the tires and thought they may take advantage of us knowing we needed the tires, but to our surprise, the price was very reasonable and even lower than we thought it would be. The staff was very nice, and we appreciate all of them for having the Customer Service they provided to us, which you usually don't get anymore. I would recommend this shop to anyone. There the shifter would not go back into park so we could not get it started. The shifter linkage had broken. It was 6pm at night. We tried fixing this ourselves with no luck. He was there in 20 minutes and explained that it was the alternator. Calvin went above and beyond when he took the spare battery from his truck and charged ours, followed us to the nearest motel to make sure we were safe, arrived in the morning with the part and expertly replaced the alternator for a great price! We cannot say how grateful we were! Calvin is good people. We highly recommend him. We are on our way today before noon after something that could have ruined our trip.
