We had a shitty experience with one of their competitors, so we popped in here first thing the next morning, and they told us exactly what we needed and we were in and out in no time. The tires we got weren't the most economical, but we are back and forth from Nashville frequently so we really needed the safety and longevity more than anything. Worth the price for sure. Then as I was leaving one guy ran out to the parking lot where I was and said they would do it. They ran the payment, then proceeded to tell me it would take an HOUR to change my one tire. And they weren't even busy there was one car in the port, no one in the lobby, and approx. 6 boys standing around laughing doing nothing. Took my car in after the December tornado. Needed 4 tires. Left it there because they had to order any tires to fit my 19 inch rims. The tires I ordered were something like 220/230 each. The warehouse sent them 3. Then when they were supposed to send the 4th, they didn't. So the salesman put a better tire on my car for the same price. Still gave me a military discount. Trevor, Josh & the guys hooked me up. I picked up a nail in a tire. Tires were close enough to switch out the set anyway. I'd been using the spare for a couple days while I price shopped. I needed special order tires and they quickly helped me narrow my search, order them & begin processing my $100 rebate from Bridgestone. Here's the thing. We did all this preliminary work over the phone! Find, buy, pay, set appt to install were all on one phone call in one call. A couple days later I dropped the car off took a Lyft home and returned just before closing to pick it up. EXTRA PRAISE: They put my spare back under the car, stored the jack and accompanying tools and resecured the plastic covers. Awesome customer service from this team. read more

My tire won't keep pressure and I needed it patched. First off, I walked in and nobody even looked at me for about 10 minutes until someone finally decided to help. Then, I got helped and I told them I know my tread is low and I'm getting my tires replaced when I move back home. I just need my tire to hold pressure during the move- I didn't have the finances to buy new tires. Kyle "helped" me and said he couldn't patch mine because of the tread. He rudely said "so what's the difference between getting tires here versus back home?" It shouldn't matter- I was comfortable getting them back home. He refused to work with me and when I asked him my other options he said "I don't know, there aren't any." I called my dad to help and all of a sudden Kyle was willing to help and give other options. His "option" included ringing it in as a "flat repair." Kyle said "I'm not supposed to do this but I'm doing you a favor." No he wasn't. I was finally willing to get 2 tires just to solve my problem. I can't drive on a tire leaking air. He said there are no tires of the size I need in stock but he could order some and they MIGHT be in in 5 business days. And 2 tires would be almost $400 and that's their "cheapest." Again claimed he was "helping me by cutting me a deal." But wait, he then said he could do the "flat repair" but if he took the tire off and they couldn't fix it, they'd have to replace all 4 tires. They didn't have the 2 I needed but they had 4?? Nothing he said made sense, he was rude and sexist the entire time. The second my fiancé or dad talked to him his solution changed. Lost my business today! Shame on this "company" for allowing this to happen! Made a stressful situation into an even MORE stressful mess. read more

I scheduled an appointment online. I was greeted immediately upon walking inside. They took an immediate look at my car and quoted me $60 for each of the TPMS gauges that needed to be replaced. They compared it to $80 at the dealership and said their $60 included labor. I went inside to pay and they had also charged me approx $35 for labor. I'm extremely upset that they have me a false quote. I was not allowed to have a receipt until after the service. When I asked how long it would take, they said the service would take about 15 minutes but there were 2 hours worth of cars in front of me. I had an appointment, so I'm not sure why there was a 2 hour wait. Honestly the DMV is a better experience. Also, they did not offer to rotate my tires when they clearly needed to be rotated and I didn't want to ask because of the outrageous unanticipated wait time. Take your business elsewhere read more

had a flat from running something over and figured might as well get everything balanced and rotated while I was there I'm about 700 miles away. they did the flat replacement on the tire that was going flat but didn't do a rebalance and or rotation, I brought it up and the gm said they did which I watched them not do it so all they did was a rotation and what I ran over still put a nail on both tires but they didn't even look at the other tire that I requested them to look at. read more

I had a screw in my side wall tire so I come into my local discount tire and the store manager Derek assisted me immediately, he has amazing customer service and him and his team is very educated and professional. Just so happens that they found another nail in my other tire, I'm so glad I stopped here so they could take care of it. As I'm watching them I noticed that they finger tighten the tire bolts they processed to tighten the tire down with their air gun. They don't over tighten them and they put them to the proper torque. This is by far the BEST experience buying tires than I have ever had. Parked my car and someone came out to greet me and asked what they could do to help me. Told him what I wanted and they had my tires in stock. Said it would take about an hour and it was more like 30-40 min. They have an area for you to watch them with the cars. They worked like a fine oiled machine. They are efficient and so clean! Guy brings my car to door and comes in to take me to the car that he has pulled up to the curb. Yep, it's a Discount Tire, fast friendly service and fair tire prices coupled with the industry's best road hazard warranty. Ive purchased all my tires from this chain for the last decade or so, I've lost track of the number states I've done business with them in, but it's always been a great experience. As always, you can get cheaper tires, but saving ten bucks a tire isn't worth the loss in service to me, not to mention the loss in waranty service. I spent about $600 for 4 tires & thought that I was getting a "discount". I am disgusted today to learn from B&B on Campbell Lane that the same grade tire that I paid for would have cost me about $400 from them. I will never shop at Discount Tire again. I bought two tires for my son's car less than a month ago. Both tires were junk. I already had to replace them both and less than 1500 miles on these tires. I went to Wal-Mart and purchased the new tires since these were such poor quality. After one month wires were already showing. They did refund me for one tire, but only one.
