Discount Tire of Clarksville, TN has improved their customer service since my bad experience 6 yrs ago. I love their "tire air lane" where you just pull up and there's a tire technician who will check the air in all 4 tires or 1 tire whatever is needed and will on the spot add air. I went in because my tire pressure light was on. The technician found my problem pretty quick, a headless screw had penetrated my tire so it had a slow leak. I dropped off my car the next morning and they fixed the flat for free. No hassles just excellent customer service. They also checked the tread on all 4 of my tires. Tires don't seem to last as long as they used to or maybe since I'm older I'm just paying more attention. I'll be needing new tires soon and will give Discount Tire another chance to earn my business on a new set of Michelin or Hankook tires. Have bought at least 10 sets of tires from DT's over the years and won't be doing it again! Unless you're willing to be upsold on a service of something new you will wait forever for any type of service. They do not like to just honor scheduled maintenance plans and you become the lowest priority for any type of service. Was told 1hr 40 minute wait for just a tire rotation that took over 3hrs, not acceptable at all and won't be back! Will save myself at least 3hrs and do it myself next time. read more

Do not by a circumstances bring your cars here to change or fix any tire. They will sell you cheap tires and cause you car issues you've never had in a car you probably had for years and try to convince you it's the weather or natural causes. This place is full of scammers that don't care about you or your car. They make it that you have to consistently come so that they can make money from you. They're selling low quality everything. I scheduled an appointment for 11 AM but was seen an hour before due to a break in my schedule. The recently renovated building made for a comfortable wait and the customer service was excellent. I was in and out before my scheduled appointment! The staff goes above and beyond to assist with the understanding of services rendered and overall tire health. Lastly, if you needed a sign to purchase the warranty, this is it. I only paid $45 for a brand new Michelin tire that retails for over $250. Something has changed at this store since employees at this store showing distant with some customers and refuse to do the customary services that Discount Tire is know for. I travel all over the country and in TX, Al, and other states it is no problems there. Corporate needs to look into this and make sure that they do follow company policy. The employees are very friendly and good at what they do, but it's an absolute beating to be seen at this location. The first time I came in, I waited an hour for the team to take a look at my flat tire and inform me that they needed to order a new tire for my car. They ordered the new tire, and I came back Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (all at varying non-busy times of the days) to get the tire put on. Each time they informed me that it would be a 1.5hr wait. So I decided to make an appointment (which according to the team would take no longer than 45 min) for Thursday. On Thursday I came in at my appointment on time, and it took an hour and fifteen minutes to get my tire on. Just to replace a spare with a new tire. Just an enormous waste of time. Placed an order for a set of tires and rims, scheduled an apt for Friday 10/28. Received a call on the 28 that the rims arrived damaged, the set I had purchased would not be available for at least another month. They did upgrade the rims due to the inconvenience, awesome customer service on this end. Now 11/4 arrived to have tires and rims put on, appointment time of 5:30. I arrived 15 minutes early . I had to wait almost 1.5 hours to have the service provided. This is completely ridiculous, the store closes at 6 but at 7 we were just getting ready to leave. I got a flat tire on Friday. The tire needed replaced. I was told by roadside assistance that Discount Tires would probably be the only ones around that would have my tire available in store. I called 8 other places and they all had to order and wait. Paranoid about driving around on a junky spare, I didn't want to wait. So, I called Discount Tires. They made me an appointment and actually saw me 5 minutes before my scheduled time. All 4 tires balanced and changed and the spare put back in less than 30 minutes. I was in the market for new all terrain tires, and found that my local discount tire had the best deal on the tires I wanted. I ordered online and scheduled an appointment for mount/balance/installation. Due to inclement weather, delivery of my tires was delayed, but not beyond my appointment date, and obviously no fault of the local shop. Regardless, tires arrived prior to quoted date, and upon arrival, the shop was gracious enough to squeeze me into the shop a day early for mount/balance/install. I was in the store for 45 minutes tops, and my truck was ready to drive away. Highly recommend. Great, honest communication, and great work at the physical location. I had to come here for yet another flat tire. Seriously, I can't win for losing. This is the second flat on the same tire... back drivers tire. Unfortunately, I got this flat on the way to work one morning. I called my stepdad for help. He was able to take my tire with him to discount tire while I worked. As my luck goes, they were unable to fix the tire so I had to order a brand new one. Insert eye rolling emoji. Since my tire had to be ordered i had to wait a couple days for it to come in. Once I got home I noticed my center cap was missing and my valve wasn't mine. My valves are green because of the nitrogen. We called back and they said if they didn't find either they'd order them for me. This place is poppin. I came back on Saturday to get my tire thinking I'd be in and out. Haha. Joke was on me. I checked in with dale who was super nice. My turn wasn't for two and a half hours. Gasp. Luckily, I had some errands to run. So i came back just in time for them to put my tire back on.
