I had my go to guy but he wasn't available and had someone else. I def felt unsold and kinda felt pushed to make a fast decision and also to keep my spare and adds on rims. Called and called my apt and rescheduled with Peter. He was very helpful and though I was bummed he wasn't there to help me I will most likely try to make him my go to guy. He developed quick trust with me. I don't know if my previous guy is no longer there but it seems like they had a new system and that they couldn't look it up. I cannot recommend this Discount tire location enough! I called needing a rim for my spare tire for a road trip. Peter and Logan helped me on the phone and made sure that I had it taken care of on time. They were both incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive. I also got help from Gabriel and Jacob on the day that I came in. They were all very welcoming, and showed genuine care. I truly appreciate them all. I guess you could say that they WHEELy helped me out by working TIRElessly. And for that they will be RIMembered. I'm not sure who i upset at this location, but for the last year or so the quality of service has drastically changedl. They broke a lug nut stud off my tire ( they did get that fixed for me), and I have had to replace 3sets of hub cap covers (only 1 they replaced!) because they break them putting them back on. Soon as I leave their establishment and turn a corner or 2 they come off (when they stayed on perfectly fine before I arrived) I stopped in today because my tire light came on, I told Gabriel to please be careful putting the caps back on because of the previous issues with them coming off once I leave from broken clips.He did exactly what I asked not to do, after reassuring me he put them on correctly I left, turned 2 corners and yep the front one came off in traffic! I had another motorist pull up on me and tell me that my hub caps just came off! I have the whole thing on my dash cam even the guy telling me it just came off. I went back to discount tire and was met wit a rebuttal of he put them on correctly. Then wanted me to go get another receipt to prove the same thing I just had to prove 4 months ago!! They are just $35 hub caps but that's NOT THE POINT! IM TIRED OF REPLACING MY STUFF AFTER LEAVING THEIR SHOP I DONT ALWAYS HAVE THE MONEY TO DO SO read more

They get you in fast and are super nice. Speedy service! Only thing that bugs me is how they try to get you to get your wipers done. They put cheap ones that don't last long. So I replaced my own and came in for a rotation and they tried to say they were streaky after I told them I don't want them replaced in the initial check in. After I left guess what no streaks. I would recommend this place but not for the wiper replacement. read more

Do not come here if you care about time or the job being done right. I just now downloaded yelp for the sole purpose of letting you know how awful this store performs. I have just waited, with an appointment, for an hour to have my tires simply rotated and balanced with a full crew working. A 10 minute job. I have watched people eat, play on their phones, walk around and talk, and have 0 effort to do actual work. When I arrived one vehicle was being worked on for 4 tires. In "BAYSIDE" a bay in the shop installed FOR EFFICIENCY, it took 40 minutes to change 4 tires. When the vehicle was done it took another 10 minutes for anyone to show up and even bring the vehicle out. After another 30 minutes and ONE more vehicle worked on I was waved in. I then see the previous vehicle was sent out without their tires properly balanced and weights still needing to be added via picture. Uneven tread wear caused with no care. No one wears safety glasses and again eating and on the phone directly infront of me. No hustle and no communication. When asked if air was put in my tires I was told "I mean we can, what do you want them at?" It is supposed to be done EVERY TIME. I worked for discount tire for over 2 years at an extremely well managed store where I have gone from the lowest role to a 6th lvl manager and I can say this was disappointing and disrespectful to say the least as I would never give the kind of service to anyone like I was provided today. Not sure if I've done a review for DT, but here's mine. I've been getting tires from DT for yrs. Let's face it, price is priority for most of us, and they have the best prices anywhere. Plus the free tire balancing and rotation is huge. As for service, never had an issue, and always in and out in less than an hour. That's with an appt. Could be longer without. This trip I had tires rotated and balanced without appt, in and out in 45 mins. read more

We went to go get our air pressure and tires checked and waited for a minute but he came right up and apologized for the wait with a smile on his face. I was out of town - blew a tire thanks to construction.....they got my car in as a walk in and I had a new set of tires within about 3 hours. That may seem like a long wait but I had no appt and a non standard size so they had to go retrieve from another location. Trust me - they hustled and I didn't wait a minute longer than required. I downloaded yelp just to give a review for this store. Haiden is one of the most professional staff members in any company I've ever dealt with, period. He is the one who answered my phone call, and is the one who greeted me as I pulled up, literally walked out to my car, told him my issues, and gave me reasonable pricing and alternatives. Walked me out to show me my problems. I explained my past 3-4 encounters I've had with Discount in Spring/Tomball area... which I've literally had to bust 2 U-E's to address the remaining problems. Rim weights falling off, etc...I'm a mechanic so I have a pretty good idea of my issues. I wanted to thank him when they were done with my car, but he was one the phone so I didn't want to slow down business. As I got into my car, he ran out and said it was a pleasure and if I had any concerns to ask for him directly. I kept smirking in the waiting room listening to the shops hoots, hollers, singing, high fives... the morale was intense to say the least. I wish my job was like that lol. All comes down to leadership and trickles down. I live in Tomball, and have been a Discount customer for over 12 years. I will drive 30 miles to Conroe next time I have a problem. Amazing. Also guys doing the work were very quick for doing rims and tires. Very polite and informative staff all around. They got it done in about an hour. read more

I was initially told by by Zach at this location that only one specific tire could go on my vehicle, and that it would be two days to come in. Seven days later After talking to Ely, Sven, Jaime, and Matt, the tires came in but they didn't tell me that they were in. I called again on the 9th day, was told by Jamie the manager that they had come in three days ago but they didn't know about it because nobody looked in the tire delivery area to check. For three days. I lost 8 days of work and over a thousand dollars of work wages waiting on those tires. I'm definitely going to NTB or Walmart for now on for tires. On the 9th day when i was waiting for the work to be done after asking Jaime to look in the tire delivery area, three cars came and waited for air pressure to be checked and all three ended up leaving after waiting a while without being helped bc nobody went over there to help them. read more

Went to this Discount Tire location only to be held and lied to about timing and very bad communication. My incident was having a huge nail on the shoulder of my tire and about to go flat. I see it's pretty early but not as busy and four more customers came in after me but were seen immediately and cars were already being pulled in to get fix ! It's been 30 plus minutes over the time they given me. Than finally someone comes and tells me there are delays and I'll have to wait another 30 minutes!!!!!!! THIS HURT MY HEART ! Super Friendly Service! I had a nail in my tire, they checked it, they got it out and said it was FREE! So guess where I'm going when I need new tires... We called ahead and this was the only place that was not fully booked, I did have to drive a ways to get here so thankfully I made it without incident, but they had the tires I needed just in case, and the great thing about it was it was...FREE! Good service and they worked me in I walked in right around 5pm. I had several issues patching 2 tires and needing to replace 2 other tires and have them rotated and I asked that they replace lug nuts Herman assisted me when I arrived and checked me out, another gentleman I didn't catch his name gave me a water as he busily walked by and was answering customers calls and other costumers questions. Evan brought my car to me and answered some last minute questions. I like discount and have always had great service and have given me honest answers. I love discount tire I have used them most of my fault life. This location is TERRIBLE! My tire pressure light came on and stayed on after have 2 tires changed and a nail fixed in another. Went by several times the pressure was fine so I took it to have the computer run.... I was MISSING 2 sensors totally missing them. When I contacted the store they refused to help or admit guilt. Mind you this was the only location to touch my car before this incident. The location on the 336 N loop handled it all for me! Didn't charge me for the sensors another store lost and they have been kind since! I even wrongfully chewed a manager out on the phone thinking it was the 45 location. That was my fault I did apologize but they were still so understanding and kind! Use the 336 location not this one. read more

Took my car in and was lied to about all season snow tires. Said they would not work because I did not buy them there and I just wanted to check my air pressure. These tires are the best in the world. They offered to buy them on trade and literally take me for a ride. These are brand new tires! What a bunch of crooks. I got my keys and out the door I went and will never go back to this location. I recommend the two stores up the street better all the way around for customer service.
