Yes, I too have to comment on this DT. It may be a tire place, but that makes it even more significant. I have been going here for over 4 years and am always impressed. Management and the people working there are obviously top notch, first class people. Schedule online for service and they are super speedy and quick when I get there. Typically, I bring in the car, give it to them, then walk to Kroger for a coffee, walk back and they are almost finished. For a basic tire rotation, I can be in and out in about 15 minutes. read more

I have bought many tires from Discount Tire, and this location is my least favorite due to being the furthest away. Regardless, they are not a "Discount Tire" store; they cannot compete on price anymore. They quoted $958 for a set of Bridgestones I can get from Costco for $650. Wow! I was shocked; I rarely went anywhere else. But 30% overpriced? $308 more? Don't throw your money away on "Discount" tires; the dealer adds nothing except profit in his own pocket to the tire sale. In Discount tire's case, they are getting 20% markup with retail and they mark that up another 30%. Are Discount Tire customers stupid? Who would go there? read more

I trusted this store with my vehicle and when I picked my car up the next day there was a huge scraping down my leather steering wheel. When I confronted the store asking what happened I was told "well there's no way of you proving we did that". I will never trust discount with my car again. read more

This is the third time the following has happened to me at this same location. Came in to have my tires rotated and balanced. As this has happened to me before here, I number (with a paint pen) my wheels to make sure they correctly rotate tires. Again, they only changed two of the four wheels/tires. Waited three hours for them to do that. They were dumbfounded when I confronted them about this issue. Told the manager that today was the third time this same Discount Tire did this to me. I've been using DT for years and have always been treated well, till I came to this one. Since this one is on my way home from work I decided to make an appointment to get new tires. When I showed up I went to the counter with the big sign over it that says "Appointments & Pick-ups". I waited for the only attendant at the counter to finish with the person he was helping and he asked me if I was there to pick up. I said no that I had an appointment. He told me it didn't matter and that I needed to get in the line that was stretching to the door. 3 new customers had walked in after I did just during the time I waited for him to finish with the customer. I said every DT I've ever been to takes their appointment before walk-ins. He said he didn't care and I needed to get in line. I said I would just take my business elsewhere and walked out the door. I drove past my exit to go to my usual DT and they were able to help me in an appropriate amount of time without a long line of customers as they were properly staffed with courteous employees. Both my wife and I have bought full sets of tires at other DT's for this one experience even though this one would be more convenient. I hope they get new management some day that will focus them on customer service. Till then I recommend you drive just a little further north or south to either of the other two in the area as they are SO much better at what they do. read more

Their services are amazing! Compared to the shops around them, they are very quick and their waiting area is clean and the staff is very responsive. They have a cool thing going on, they all sing!!! seriously, they all sing when they change your tire. They did when I changed mine as a group. Watch closely and when they get in the zone!!! Very low quality work at this location, guys rush the cars out without checking if work is done correctly. Dropped off my car for a tire replacement, and tech calls me to pick up the car at 5 o clock Saturday. The wife drove the car home and noticed tire monitor light is on, by now the store is already closed and all the employees have rushed out. Being a Saturday I have to bring it back on a week day to fix the leaking valve stem. I hope this is just a one time issue, I doubt i will feel comfortable letting these guys replace tires on my other cars. read more

I have used this facility for business and personal use for years. I noticed excessive wear on my tires on my 2014 ford super duty. I read reviews of similar conditions online and called big. They made an appt to see Jose at this discount tire. Jose did an EXCELLENT job in customer service. Inspected, handled bfg, order tires and set appt. In less than 24 hours, Jose had me smiling ear to ear. Can not stress how well this discount tire is operated and how well Jose handled my condition in a professional and timely manner. I called today about my truck tires and was told they were in stock, so I made an appointment. I drove over 60 miles (30 each way), only to be told they did not have the tires. So I don't think I will be going back to this location. Super inconvenient and a big waste of my time. read more

Do not go here if you are a woman. Initially I went here because of a flat tire that I needed fixed but ended up buying two used tires for the drivers side since they were the worst. I actually needed three but didn't have the money so he changed the two really bad ones on the drivers side. Before he changed my tires out I asked him to not rotate because the wheels in the back were bent and it makes the car shake really bad at 60mph and above. When he brought the car to me I noticed they had been switched anyway because the tred on the outside was worn on the front drivers. He then assured me that the wheel he put on the front was not bent so I assumed it was the one from the right front . As I drove on the highway the next day my car started to shake really bad at speeds over 60mph. I took the car back today to get the wheels switched back out and the gentlemen who helped me before was not there so I told the guy at the counter my issue and he agreed to switch the wheels back for me. It was raining outside and I trusted them so I did not check the tires when I left. As I drove down the highway to do errands, the car started shaking again at 60mph. When I got to my next stop I looked at the front tire and the same tire was there, tred and all! Now I have to drive 45min out of my way to get my dad to switch them back out again for me.These people have lost my trust and treated me like a fool, all because they thought they knew better than me! I won't be back and warn all women not to go there because they will treat you like you don't know what you are talking about too and do what they want anyway! Epic fail! read more

Discount Tire is the bomb! They fix flats for free and air up your tire like a 1950's Gas Station Attendant. When I buy tires, I only shop here...... I have a CostCo and Sam's Club membership and I never would use them as long as I continue to receive the great service that I get at Discount! read more

The best service I've ever gotten at a tire shop. I needed heavy duty trailer tires that no one had in stock. Not only did the Manager (Jayme, I think) find the tires, but he had them there the next day for cheaper than any place else. All of my vehicles go here now. read more

We have been consistent customers of Discount Tire for years. The location in Conroe - I45 S always does an excellent job for both my husband and I. Last night my husband went in with what he thought was a slow leak in his right front tire. He wasn't able to get there until right before 5pm on a Friday. The reps at Discount found a puncture in the side wall, and replaced it - without charge - under the terms of the warranty we had purchased. They stayed late and made sure he was satisfied before sending him on his way. So many business these days don't understand the basic tenets of customer service - Discount gets it! Awesome service. I went in as a dumb wife that doesn't usually take care of the car stuff and they were great. I had a tire that was low on air, so they checked it and repaired it. They also checked our records because we bought the tires there a year ago but in a different state and saw I was due for tire rotation and so they did that. Then they'd noticed my low tire light was on and they'd checked the spare and it had no air so they fixed that too! And I was out of there in less than an hour. Lots of hard workers! read more

Had an appointment at 8 a.m. this morning for tires rotated and balance. When car brought to me, attendant said OK, your tires are rotated. I said they were to be balanced too. I noticed 3 tires had same amount of air and 1was 3 pounds lower. Tonight my husband was going to put air in low tire and the pressure never changed. Then he checked front tires and one had 40 pounds of air. Service never reset the gauge inside and the tires that were actually on the front tires read the pressure of the rear tires and vice verse. This has happened to my husband at this location twice and Discount Tire never fixed it. I didn't believe him, but now that it happened to me, I believe him. Also, two of my valve stem caps are missing. read more
