I had to wait for a little bit so I sat in my car and I watched these guys working so hard, taking care of everyone being friendly and professional. The shop was clean and they had the best customer service. I personally dealt with both Jason's, Larry and Kevin, but everybody there was working so hard. Thank you running such a great business.! Purchased certificates for my Wrangler Dura tracks, they told me they aren't covered as they gave me the tires back and put over 5 ounces of weight on it. This place is a joke. A rip off... I been coming here for years and they basically ruined me ever coming back here. I have spent money on 2 trailers, 2 trucks, RV. I absolutely will never be shopping here again. After speaking with the manager finally made things right/better. It really shouldn't have taken that though. When road force is high on an initial tire it should have been sent back. read more

I have "curbed" my vehicle twice and "popped" two different tires with the four tires purchased from Discount Tire. Using the Warranty, I received two warranty replacements. Two different times. The second replacement would leave one brand-new tire, a newer tire, and two fairly used tires. After discussion, we chose to add the warranty repair, keep the newer tire, and replace the two used tires to bring all four tires to an even tread. Sorry, that was a lot. The staff was friendly. Knowledgeable. I intended to schedule an appointment since it was 15 minutes before close, but they said they would be happy to do it right away and remained open until the job was complete. I am very appreciative. I am definitely a loyal customer. read more

This was, by far, the most pleasant experience I've had when it comes to any sort of car service! I had a blowout on the side of the interstate on Black Friday. I showed up at discount tire on Saturday morning a little after 8 and was back in the road before 9. Jasper greeted me as I pulled in and checked my three remaining tires. I was able to make my decision based on data he showed me, and I never felt pressured to upgrade or make a purchase. It was such an easy experience that I had my wipers changed out, as well. The staff here for the most part is pretty cool they do have very competitive pricing I mean tires are high regardless but they do efficient work and get the job done Although the thing I do hate is you can't set up an actual appointment time they just tell you clot come in and on a busy day be prepared to wait from an hour to 5 hours , plan your day Accordingly!!! This store is now a hit-or-miss. The past has been one of 'yea.. another tire store.. no big impressions.. just get in.. do the new tires or rotate the tires and .. done.. The present is .. by far and away.. a downhill trip on a greased board for them... the appointment by phone means nothing.. the wait times are insanely long and the atmosphere is nothing short of a tour of touring Uncle Ed's collection of hubcaps..in August.. I took my 2011 ford escape up here. they called and told me they couldn't get my car to start after installing the tires. so I go up there the guy can't find my keys and told me to check in the car I come out to find my car in the parking lot running unlocked. very unhappy with this but thankfully my car wasn't stolen read more

While on our getaway in the woods, my husband got a flat tire. Fortunately for us, he had warranty on the tires. Unfortunately, we were in a small town that didn't have a Discount Tire nearby. We decided to put the spare on and make the drive to the closest city. They were worth the 40ish minute drive. My husband had made an appointment, and we were seen in a decent time. I have been a customer of Discount Tire for over 30 years and I recently visited the store in Kingsport , TN. I found a few tires for my wife's 2004 Lexus RX330 (4 tires required) I was interested in and offered the list to the Discount tire associate to research best prices. I told him I have been a 30 year customer, I recently purchased $800.00 tires for my TownCar in Sept 2021 from them and I owned 2 other vehicles. The associate was very prompt in finding prices for me. After tire shopping that day, I decided to call Discount Tire as I had found the same tire much less expensive ($110) elsewhere, but I thought the price offered by Discount tire was the same. When I called the next day I was mistaken the tire was $160.00 ($200.00 difference my error-not Discount Tires). When I asked the reason, the associate reply that was the retail price! I said maybe for Discount but not for Amazon and another store! The associate offered a price match (that doesn't save me any money) on the tire I found. When I asked how much it would cost to mount tires NOT purchased at Discount Tire the price was over $150.00 vs about $90.00 when tires are purchased through Discount. I explained to the associate my long standing history with Discount, my recent purchase, and with two other vehicles there is a good possibility I will need tires in the future. His response was "labor is labor". I thanked him for his time and promptly hung up. I am in the process of writing the president of Discount Tire, the Discount Tire district office and with my extended family of 8 brothers and sisters, about my experience! Wow! Lost business over less than $100.00.
