These guys were nice at first and I was all set to purchase. My friend had her flat tire fixed here and noticed they ruined and scratched all her lug nuts and her wheels. I walked in prior to this to order, the service associate helped me for a moment and then took a phone call and went to then help the person on the phone. I walked out only to be chased down by another associate. He said he would order my tires and make my appointment. I called him a week later and he said he had the appointment and the tires. Since hearing my friend's story, I decided to buy from the competitor. I called tonight and spoke with Joe to cancel and free up my appointment. It was never even on the books. If I had of shown up expecting new tires and taking the day off work, it would have been even more disappointing. If this had a negative Star, it would be negative 1,000,000. read more

Purchased four new tires this month as a result of my 60,000 mile tires being worn down at 20,000 miles. #sigh. I was extremely impressed with the professionalism and knowledge of the entire staff in getting me set up with a more suitable set. They also aided in a challenging warranty situation with Kumho. Best customer service around. Employees are helpful, courteous, punctual and they don't up-sale to make a little more. I took my truck in for a nail puncture. I had put tires on my wife's suv, but not the truck. They still fixed the nail puncture in the truck tire and put me on their rotation/air check schedule. And when they did my wife's tires, they did it in just under 30 minutes. Can't say enough good things about this company. Have recommended them to everyone I know. Great job. read more

The best customer service I could have asked for. I went in to get a flat tire fixed (a service they offer for free) and found out that I would not only need to replace that tire due to a nail in the side wall, but a second tire also had a nail in the side wall and would need replaced. I was not in a position to purchase two brand new tires (nearly $400) and the awesome employee recognized that. He stepped away for a moment and returned to tell me there were two used tires in good condition that would cost me significantly less. In that moment, he was more concerned about my safety than trying to make a sale. To top it off, this was all happening during severe weather with multiple tornado warnings. I agree with the other positive posts. My first experience was buying some cheap tires for my old Jeep. They didn't try to oversell and even guided me to a little better tire for a better price than the advertised special. My second trip was to get some pretty well-worn truck tires balanced because the front end was shaking pretty badly. Again, no effort to over sell or talk me into replacing the tires, even though I know they are on there last leg. In fact, the salesman suggested I just balance the fronts and not the rears because that's where the shimmy most likely was at....he was right, saved me $20, ride is smooth now, and when I need tires in a few months this is where I'll get them even if they weren't the lowest price, but the are. Great service. Nice location too, restaurants next door to grab a snack while waiting. read more

This is the only place you should go for tires I have had so many problems at places. They don't work on commission, know their stuff, repair a tire for free even if you didn't get it there. Places all around the country, rotate and balance for free. GREAT place. Wish I would have found it years ago. Would have saved me lots of headaches. read more

Stopped in yesterday with an issue on my tonneau cover purchased off the internet. The team at Chux immediately offered to adjust the cover and replace the clamps that came with it that were inferior FOR FREE. Yup, that's right! Every time I've visited their Olathe or Independence location, the staff has been super friendly and more importantly knowledgeable. I've visited the new 4 wheel place in OP, it's like O'Reilly's, no one seems to know what the hell they're doing. Chux is exactly the opposite. The staff is seasoned, and they must treat their folks well because they seem to stay. Highly recommend Chux Trux for any pickup/Jeep/SUV needs. They get it done! read more

She did give me prices for 4 and 2 tires but conditions prevented me from doing that. Just got 1 tire and could not be happier with price and service. The best group of guys ever, the customer service here was way beyond what you will get anywhere else. They fixed my rim, put my tire back on, cleaned the water out of my trunk and everyone was so friendly. They turned my bad day completely around, had me in and out in less than 20 min. I've always been a fan of Discount Tire. Moving from Colorado I chose the Olathe store on 153rd just out of pure convenience as it was close to home and work. Based on past experiences I thought everything was going to be fine. I made an appointment on a Saturday and was greated promptly and my vehicle was rolled into the bay. I could see from the window that the tech was ripping the lip weights off with great enthusiasm and slamming the new ones into place. I thought nothing of this as those lead weights are pretty robust. I paid for the tires and installation and greeted my vehicle. Everything appeared to be fine but as I drove home it was obvious that the the front wheels were out of balance. It wasn't until after I ran the car thru the carwash that I noticed the real damage had been done. All four wheel lips had been marred and the paint was chipped off from the removal and installation of the weights. I took my car back the next day and spoke with one of the managers. His name was Viga. I explained to Viga that my expectation of service is a lot higher at a place like Discount and that I was terribly disappointed. He said I could opt for the wheels to be refinished or possibly get a new set. I was comfortable with refinishing them but the turn time would have meant four additional trips and much waiting as I would have been running two sets of loaners. My vehicle has limited options due to the offset but Viga worked with me to find a set of wheels that was acceptable to me and ordered them straight from the manufacturer at no charge. It took over a week to get them from across the country but the arrived today and I am very happy with the results. They have earned a recommendation from me and took what would have certainly been a one-star review to a five-star review and I will continue to shop at Discount whenever I need tires. OK, so it's a brand new location so everything is shiny and clean - but this is just superficial. The real highlight is the staff, website, and price...in that order. 1. The staff - professional, articulate, and sincere. Customer care is certainly engrained in their DNA. Special shout out for Zach, you couldn't possibly have done anything to improve the experience today, thank you. 2. Suggest you use their website to shop tires specific to your vehicle - very easy to use and includes reviews specific to each tire and in many cases specific to the tire and its performance on your make and model car/truck. You can also reserve your tires and schedule an appointment - recommended. 3. Price - tires are a big purchase and everything that is truly important to you is going to be riding on them - literally. I research, shop, and research some more. In this case a total of 3 months before pulling the trigger. DT prices matched the lowest I could find on the web anywhere - but I learned today (thanks again Zach) that DT will match any price even extended 30 days beyond your purchase! In summary, it was a most refreshing experience from my reserving tires and scheduling my appointment on Monday to my actual install today. YES - very satisfied. YES - I will return. YES - I will recommend to all that will listen. read more
