Was quoted $50 for a tire replacement. When I returned was then told $20. Upon arrival, I was not greeted until several awkward moments later. I went in to get a tire that was covered under warranty replaced. Upon being told other issues aside from my initial dilemma, I mentioned several times I ONLY wanted what I came to get fixed. I was then quoted with a $1200 repair and refused service. Overall, I would not recommend this Goodyear location. The staff is VERY rude and make no effort to provide satisfactory customer service. Had a flat tire & needed my spare replaced. Pulled up to this location as a walk in. They did a "flat tire service" & did not try to sell me new tires. They were able to get me in & out within an hour. They provided information & replaced my spare tire. They gave an accurate price estimate & did not have an up charge when I paid for my car. The nice guy at the front desk was so funny and friendly then this nice young man named Lonnie quickly came out in the freezing awful cold and was extremely kind, smiling the whole time and I wish more people were like him! Made a same day appointment for installation of 4 tires, which I appreciated getting in quickly. Signed up for a $50 discount, only to find out you only get the discount if you use a Goodyear credit card. Not cool, Goodyear. We were told the appointment was two hours and we'd get a call when the car was finished. 5 minutes past the two hours they call. Great, no problem. Spouse dropped me off, as they said car was DONE. After checking in, attendant said oh it's still up on the rack, it'll just be a few minutes. 50 minutes later, I was out the door. read more

What a great experience I had with excellent customer service! I was visiting relatives in Kansas and was able to use one of their cars. Headed out to the city to do some shopping. That's when I noticed I was driving around with a flat tire. Luckily my favorite tire shop was around the corner. Stopped in for a tire replacement and was notified that my other front tire had wires sticking out. In no time my car was in the bay and the guys were taking care of my car. And on top of their already great service, I was able to put everything on a Goodyear credit card (zero interest for 6mon!!!) I drove off feeling safe and happy. Thank you KCMO Goodyear! read more

On 2/23/2024 I visited the goodyear auto service center 4324 at 1269 west 103rd street kansas city, MO 64114 INVOICE 0000062042 and 0000062043. I took my vehicle in for a safety inspection and was told my tires failed for age. First there is no age requirement for tires to fail safety inspection in MO. Being the technician failed the inspection I decided to let them change the tires and perform an alignment on the 2012 chevy cruze. When I took my car in there were no ses or tire pressure lights on. After picking up the car at closing time I notice the tpms light was on and the car was pulling hard to the left, which was not a problem before they serviced my vehicle. The total charge $709.69 were for tires, inspection, mounting, balancing, tpms rebuild kit and tire disposal. The tires were installed on opposite sides the sensors indicated. I was also charged $86.14 on a separate invoice for my alignment. I checked my tire pressure and found that my front driver tire (installed on passenger side) showed 23 psi, the front passenger (installed on the driver side) showed 31psi. The rear driver tire (installed on the rear passenger side) showed 32 psi. And the rear passenger tire (installed on the rear driver side) showed 35 psi. I called goodyear and was given an excuse that because they work on other cars besides chevy this is common and nothing to worry about. When I asked why the light was on I was told it was because my sensors were not reading correctly, even though I checked them with a digital tire pressure gauge. I asked why the car was now pulling to the side and was given an excuse about my alignment. These problems did not exist before they serviced my vehicle, even when I told them they made excuses saying it was my vehicle and not their working techs error. They asked to come back, I work and cannot take time off again due to them not doing the job correct the first time. I was told tire pressure did not effect the alignment and the alignment could not be done correctly with the tire pressure being wrong. This is something the technician should KNOW and do correctly the first time! This car was vin inspected previously and they did not indicate the tires had any problems. I am seeking a refund for the improper installation and improper alignment done by the company. I will now have to take time from work to take it to a different shop to correct the company's mistakes and have it fixed as it should have been when I paid the company almost $800. Please contact me on what can be done to make this right with my time, stress and anxiety as well as money I will now have to pay another company to repair the problems caused by the technician. read more

I'd leave a 10 star rating if that was an option on yelp. The service here is top notch. I brought my car in since it had a low pressure light on and I had a long ride back home back from vacation. The store was able to fit me in on New Year's Eve and then quickly patched and repaired my tire. I'd highly recommend you use this Goodyear Auto Service Center to get repairs done. read more

You've got to be shitting me. "$53" o wait that's wrong "$49" for fixing a slow leak in a tire and replacing (1) third brake light bulb. I saw two different prices because after i unbelievingly got the bill he looked and said "o thats wrong." I understand that a tire repair isn't a high paying job or shouldn't take that long. With having a completely empty shop (as in no other customers there) it took an hour! How do you charge so much for a meager task? It's $15 at most tire repair shops, which the store manager in a smart ass way challenge what I have been paying for 10 years at other shops. I will never go back there again and steer everyone away from there I can! read more

Car wouldn't switch gears. Had it towed to them, called to let them know it was a piece/part on the gear shifter. The guy I spoke with told me they had to run a diagnostic to see what was wrong. I told him I didn't want a diagnostic & restated what was wrong. He was addiment that they needed to do the diagnostic, I asked how much he told me $135. A day or two goes by & they let me know it was a part/piece off the gear shifter & estimated how much my total was. Cool. Car gets picked up, barely 24 hours later same problem. Had it towed back. They said it was the same issue, manufacturer error and that I wouldn't be charged again. I go pick up the car the 2nd time around and ask for the diagnostic. They guy prints out the same receipt from the 1st time. I told him no I want the diagnostic results this is the same receipt. He then tells me there was no diagnostic ran on my car. I question the charge on the receipt for $135. He states that it was the mechanic's rate. I ask so the 1 is an hour, he says yes. I then say so the mechanic makes $135 an hour he says yes. I am happy my car is fixed but unhappy times 10 with the level of service. They should not tell people they are running a diagnostic when they aren't a mechanic is fiddling around trying to figure out what's wrong with your car. I don't even believe that true. I will never go back to this Goodyear off 103rd & Stateline Leawood KS again. read more

Sold me a defective tire that completely disintegrated (the side walls ripped apart leaving the tread completely separated from the wheel) on the interstate nearly causing a very serious multi car wreck. This was just a few moths after they told me the tire was fine. Their absurd explanation was to tell me I must have been driving around on it completely flat. It is not possible to drive on a flat tire and not know it on normal roads, much less on the interstate. They also slipped up and informed me they had charged me for road hazard fees on another purchase when I specifically said not to. They do not honor their road hazard protection claims. Their is no point in ever paying for it. read more

called & made an appointment for 8:30am to have a hose replaced. was quoted $169.00 and half day for the repair. dropped off our volvo at 8:33 am. at 1:00 pm we called to see how much longer. they now said it would be $203.00 if they could get the part (lower radiator hose) i was shocked but said to complete the repair. at 5:00pm we called again to see if it would be done they said yes. they offer a pick up service for locals which was very nice & appreciated. when i arrived to pick up the car & pay the low coolant light was still on and now missing a quart of engine oil. we now have to pay extra to have volvo of OP inspect the repair. they did agree to abide by the original est to their credit. i cannot recommend this location & looks like i am out another day of my time & more money to be sure my car is safe read more
