90 Minute wait - WITH an appointment. I had an appointment at 9:30 for a tire check. The front desk employee apparently never checked me in. It is currently 11:07 and my car just went to the service bay; they're going to "try" to get my car back to me by 11:30. Made appointment to get tire repaired from a slow leak. They were not very oriented to customer service. Stood in the middle of the store until you figured out who was in line ,where the person needed to be to talk to the service provider. After six or seven minutes one guy looks up from his computer screen and a if he can help. I tell him i had an appointment to fix slow leak. He want to see the vehicle. He goe out , feels around the tire and locates nail " I knew where it was. He proceeded to to tell me ( warn me). That if they (alone) determined that the tire could not be repaired. (According to their safety rules). Then they would not be able to repair the tire or reinstall the tire because of danger to their service personnel. I informed him that I had inflated that tire to 35 pounds to drive it and that it was safe. Possibly he should go hide. He insisted that if it was danger to his personnel he was ( going to leave me no others choice but to buy a new tire). You getting the pict. Last week I ended up here by emergency. The staff offered quick service when my bf was stuck with a shredded up tire in the middle of a Shreveport highway. Luckily, no one was hurt and we pulled over in time when the rubber literally burned away to nothing... He got the spare on and headed to this DT and they quickly assisted us and got the car fitted with a brand new tire of the same model. I felt like the customer service was great and speedy which was much needed since we had a long drive ahead of us. I definitely recommend this store for air pressure checks, rotations, and general car service if you're in the area or just passing through. read more

They are as good as other locations. Rep met me in the parking lot before we could unload. I had a 4:30pm, CST appointment so maybe the fire was there so the day could wrap. I have consistently used Discount Tire since 2002 via South Louisiana. I'm glad they finally made it to this market. All my records are found via a simple phone number entry. I appreciate it. The warranties are phenomenal and the other locations & website usually have rims + tires discounted for sale. All in all, meeting me in the parking lot won kudo points. read more

Matt and Angel were both EXCEPTIONAL to work with! I cannot recommend this location high enough. I had a low tire that I just wanted to patch and Matt took the time to show me where my tread was at and why I needed to go ahead and replace them. They are fast, honest, and their work is top notch. They made a mistake and charged me for 18" tires but my car needed 20". Angel came and told me about the mistake and let me know they would take care of the price difference. The tires I ended up with have a 60,000 mile guarantee and my Lexus RX 350 is only at 53,000 miles with Michelin tires that are dead. If I would've used these guys I wouldn't even be replacing yet. I've bought three sets of tires for different vehicles here since they opened within the last couple of years. I'm here today to get a balance and rotation on another vehicle. These guys are always professional and treat my vehicles with care. They all work fast. They literally run from place to place if necessary (answer the phone, get another vehicle in, etc.). When to Bert kouns Discount Tire. I had bought previous 4 tires from discount tires. I wanted good Year AT and he showed me one they had out on display. He says I have to order and put up $25.00 deposit and will be there in 5 days. He wanted more that 25 for deposit 1/2 the fee of tires. Well 5 days later there not there. So I go to Discount Tires on Viking Drive. I see what they have in stock I ended up buying 4 cooper tires at $800 plus change. I showed him my $25.00 deposit. He told me I would have to get with other discount tire. Discount Tires Bert Kouns refused to refund the 25.00 deposit. The tires had come in a week later. I'm just now getting back to work. Oil fields at a lot less pay than a year ago. 10 hour I make. I have a son with severe autism I take care of and needed these tires bad. We live in a 30 foot fema travel trailer. I am poor nor do I get stimulus checks. I take very good care of my son and buy him every thing. I work 84 hours a week. Anyhow I use to love discount tires and sent them customers over the years. I can highly recommend THIS location. I would advise people to steer clear of the Bossier location. I went to the Bossier location first and sat waiting for a long time and actually watched other people who came in AFTER me get serviced AHEAD of me. And then they would not perform a simple tire rotation for me because (IN THEIR OPINION) one of my tires was too worn. But they WOULD be HAPPY to sell me a new set of tires! So after WASTING over an hour in waiting I left and ended up at the south Shreveport store where I got a good deal on what I needed done in a timely manner. This place was amazing. I spent 30 minutes there for all 4 of my tires to be replaced. The prices are great compared to the other places I have been in Shreveport. The service was impeccable as they were super helpful and patient. Most places don't care and try and get the most money they can out of a college girl (under the assumption that we don't know much when it comes to cars). They took the time to show me a neat software they have that takes into account your vehicle and how many miles you drive a year to show you the best deals you can get for your lifestyle. The software also included things like: ratings on stopping distance on wet roads, how many miles you are projected to receive per dollar you have spent, and the average lifespan (years and mileage) you'll receive with the tires you choose. They are very knowledgeable on the different brands and are very honest on their opinions on the brands. I was very impressed with how clean the facility was and how genuine the men were that work there. You can tell their heart is in the right place, the betterment of the customer. To top it all off, you get free tire rotations and tire replacement if something were to happen just for shopping there and using their services! 10/10 would recommend! read more
