I don't know a great deal about tires and wheels, but was planning on spending around $3500.00 for a full setup on my wife's car. All I got from Discount Tire was jive and double talk. I dealt with 4 different (I guess salespeople) all saying that they would get back to me, which they never did and each time I called everyone recommended a different tire and wheel setup. I don't know about other customers but 3 to 4k is a chunk of money to me. I felt like a hamster in a cage on a wheel. I paid a little more money but was able to get good advice from a independent in the area. Discount is a mill dealing with numbers and could care less on what the customer needs. read more

I visited the Discount tire Location on Division after purchasing a set of four tires on the website. The website said the tires were in stock and would be available for installation at my earliest convenience (Because they accept walk-ins). When I arrived I was told my tires had not arrived yet and they needed to put my old ones back on until my new ones arrived. A few minutes later I was offered an upgrade to a different set of tires (The tires I wanted) free of charge so I could leave today with a new set. I worked with Darrick and a few others. We've been using their service for years but won't be going back. I've had two experiences that have left me not trusting them. We bought four new tires for our CRV a couple of years ago believing that they were put on before we left. Two weeks later at our oil change at the Honda dealer we were told we needed new tires. Discovered that Discpunt Tire had not put our newly purchased tires on but apparently put on our car someone else's old tires. We did get our new tires on from Discount Tire after I went back to tell them and the manager was apologetic . I recently had my winter tires switched to summer tires and realized the center wheel BMW cap was missing, apparently not put back on after the tire switch. I was assured by Sean, after driving down there to show them that he would order a new one for me and it would be a week. That was 3 months ago. I've called and gone in 2 more times with no success. No notes in the system, no one really cares. I shouldn't need to make sure they are doing their job correctly so won't be going back. read more

I have to say every time I come to this specific store I ALWAYS get the Best service. Everyome is always extremely nice and very helpful. I came in on June 11th 2024 and Jordan helped me. He was very kind and helpful and before he helped me I was watching him help another customer. she had dropped her book, he picked the book up for her and put the cover back on it and picked up the papers that fell out off the book and picked up her purse for her and handed it to her. she took the book and he stood there holding her purse while she got organized. Will always bring our vehicles here, very dependable and friendly. I do recommend getting the warranty on the tires as it has saved us a few times specially with how the roads get after winter here. They always get us in within the same day which is wonderful specially when tire issues can be unpredictable. It is a busy location and you may have to wait but honestly it's still getting completed within the same day! Most places will book you out almost a week or so. I've always appreciated everyone here and have always had great interactions even when the worst has happened to our rigs. The value is way better than other facilities, tires are not cheap, but I appreciate the price and quality we get from Discount Tire. read more

Went to Discount Tire on Division in Spokane for a set of rims for our car. We knew what we wanted and ordered a set of 4. We put a 50% deposit down. We were told they would be there that Thursday so we made an appointment for installation on Friday. When we called to confirm the rims were there we told they could not find the order and they would call us back. 6 hours later we called back and were told they found the order but needed to call us back. An hour later they called and said the rims were coming from Utah and would be in some time the next week. Why could they not find the order to begin with? The next week they called and the wife went down the next day to get them installed. When she went to pay the balance, all of a sudden there was an $88 installation charge that was not on the original estimate. (There was a line for the installation but the extension was zero.) When she called back after looking at the original estimate she was told she needed to bring the original estimate in to get a refund. So I called them the next business day and told they needed my signature on the paperwork and they did not keep our credit card on file so we needed to bring it in. I told them politely that they did not want me coming back INTO their store just to get a refund. We agreed that when wife came into town she would swing by for the refund but if there was any problems, I would be coming in, and they did not want me coming INTO their store. 15 minutes later the store manager called me back. He said he could take of it over the phone and put the rfund on our credit card ending in xxxx. I thought they did not keep credit cards on file like I was told. I ended the phone call by telling the manager that he needed to have a store meeting and tell his employees to stop lying to customers. read more

Every time I have been here the service has been fantastic! This time was no exception! I made an appointment online for today at 9am to have my tires put on my car (super easy). I called last night to confirm and they said I was on the schedule and it should be 60min or less, usually less. He was right! I checked in for my appointment at about 9:05am (there was a line ) and he said they'd have me out of there by 10am and they did! So easy! The folks at the N. Division store are extremely friendly and helpful. They order hard-to-get winter tires for us from out of state. We made an appointment for mounting and Lars met us outside the door with a smile and was eager to help. When we picked up the car we found out one of the lug bolts had broken during the wheel removal. Discount provided us with a FREE voucher at a local shop to have new bolt installed. Les Schwab had broken a bolt on this same car a couple of years ago and we had to pay to have a new bolt installed. Gotta like Discount! The only down side with the N. Division shop is there small lot which is just too small for all the cars coming and going, but I suppose they can't easily expand. Don't let that stop you from shopping there. read more

I called up for a quote on getting some snow tires for my car, the price quote given to me over the phone was quite reasonable. The moment I got to Discount Tire and was ready to pay for the snow tires, the price was much higher than the original quote. When the snow tires were finally done and I picked them up, the studs poorly attached and were crooked and some holes did not even have studs in them. Last fall discount tire removed my summer tires which were purchased there. We looked at them, made sure they would go for another season and they mounted the winter tires that I had bought there. I went into the Spokane discount tire and a young man came out, ran his cell phone across the tread on my summer tires and said that they couldn't go back on, and he could sell me new ones. After talking with the manager I left with my old tires. I went to the local Les Schwab. We measured the tires which had well over 3/32 of tread and solved the problem. I no longer will be dealing with discount tire because theor only idea is to sell you tires rather than service or stand behind their product. After many years in law enforcement, I can tell you what is a legal and safe tire and what is not, and I absolutely would not put unsafe tires on my wife's car. No thank you discount tire. These folks couldn't be any more honest, practical and accommodating when I call in with a request to be "squ. It does a heart good to be treated so very well. Though it's challenging to think so far in-advance to schedule online for service/rotations, this given our unpredictable mileage as retirees, it always amazes me how efficient and accommodating the staff at the Spokane (N. Division) location. Every employee seems on caffeine enjoying the loud music, moving at a remarkable pace. Grateful for them. Employee lied stating they had taken the tire off the wheel and cleaned the beads and applied tire sealer when no evidence of either was found. Wow, just wow, never in my life have I had such an amazing experience. I went in to Discount Tire on Division in Spokane WA at 4pm on a Saturday I needed a tire and a rim to replace what was supposed to be a very temporary fix. I knew it would cost a couple hundred dollars. Once I got there I was immediately greeted and they went to look at the extra fat tire that was the temporary fix, when they looked a rep noticed about an 8 inch crack in another tire, that could be peeled back, yes another tire needed replacement. To replace it today I would have to replace both back tires as they did not have my size. So three tires and a rim. They worked with me on the price and it came to 313 way better than I expected. The replacement tire and rim could not be put on my car because of some damage from the replacement tire. So, they were going to put the replacement tire back on and realized the temp tire was shearing off the lugs my car was undriveable I was refunded for the tire and rim that could not be used. Now here is where the most amazing thing ever happened. I needed to get home, and figure out a tow truck and money to pay for the fix the people at discount saw my distress and did the most unbelievable things ever! They refunded me all my money AND paid for my Uber to get home !!!!!! Not to mention they stayed 2 hours past closing to help me! No, it does not end there, they called me the next morning and another gentleman who worked there who was not there when I came in looked at the issue and was able to get a replacement rim and tire saving me from needing a tow. I went in to pay for the tire and rim and figure the rest out and they waived the cost for that as well!!!!! I don't understand nor will I ever understand why I was granted the grace and compassion of this crew, but I will forever be grateful.
