Wow, just wow, never in my life have I had such an amazing experience. I went in to Discount Tire on Division in Spokane WA at 4pm on a Saturday I needed a tire and a rim to replace what was supposed to be a very temporary fix. I knew it would cost a couple hundred dollars. Once I got there I was immediately greeted and they went to look at the extra fat tire that was the temporary fix, when they looked a rep noticed about an 8 inch crack in another tire, that could be peeled back, yes another tire needed replacement. To replace it today I would have to replace both back tires as they did not have my size. So three tires and a rim. They worked with me on the price and it came to 313 way better than I expected. The replacement tire and rim could not be put on my car because of some damage from the replacement tire. So, they were going to put the replacement tire back on and realized the temp tire was shearing off the lugs my car was undriveable I was refunded for the tire and rim that could not be used. Now here is where the most amazing thing ever happened. I needed to get home, and figure out a tow truck and money to pay for the fix the people at discount saw my distress and did the most unbelievable things ever! They refunded me all my money AND paid for my Uber to get home !!!!!! Not to mention they stayed 2 hours past closing to help me! No, it does not end there, they called me the next morning and another gentleman who worked there who was not there when I came in looked at the issue and was able to get a replacement rim and tire saving me from needing a tow. I went in to pay for the tire and rim and figure the rest out and they waived the cost for that as well!!!!! I don't understand nor will I ever understand why I was granted the grace and compassion of this crew, but I will forever be grateful. I have gone here twice for tires in Spokane. Back when I was in college when I needed an affordable set of tires on my MKIII Supra and most recently with my BMW 335XI for a set of new tires when I saw wires sticking out of the inside of mine. The person who helped me went above and beyond to get the right set of a good set of Yokohama shipped from the Valley same day and put them on my car because I had to return to Seattle for work and it was a risk driving on my current tires. This place seems honest and does a good job. Can be a bit of a wait (other waited pretty long) they let me take me car and called me when the tires arrived and I showed up. They called me back 2 hours later and said they were slow and could get me in. I drove back in and waited an hour and my car never moved. In the past 7 years, I have only bought tires from them, this location and the one in Scottsdale, Arizona. I didn't realize how many times I had been there until they pulled up my phone number and cars. I love cars, so have a couple and always rotate one of them. I am so impressed by this company. Went in for a flat yesterday, made a 2:30 appointment, "three" nails were pulled out of my tire, patched and sent on my way. My bill was "zero" and they couldn't have been nicer. Went in store at the Spokane Division location to order a set of 4 tires. Was recommended a specific brand that would take 1-5 days to arrive. 3 Weeks later we didn't hear anything so we called to check the status. The young man who answered the phone was very unprofessional and extremely short with his answers. We asked if our order was in stock and instantly got a "NOPE! Sorry." We questioned if we had the right phone number on our account and he asked "Is it the number your calling from?" Yes... "Yeah this is the number we got - don't have em yet!" and hung up. We checked the online stock the next week - low and behold 4 of the tires we ordered are listed as available. I waited a few days but at this point I decided to get some better tires at a better price with install from COSTCO. The order arrived within a week and I am getting them tomorrow. I called Discount Tire to talk to the manager - he confirmed the tires we had ordered were in stock and tried convincing me that those were not the ones ordered on our account... but ironically he says they tried calling us April 27th and left a message but we didn't answer/callback? Riiiiight.... He seemed sympathetic and tried offering me a better price but after the poor customer service and lies they have come up with I am going to take my business elsewhere and urge everyone else to do the same. read more

The only reason I'm putting any stars was because they were friendly. I came in for tires and a damaged rim, I was informed the rim could be repaired. super happy about that, it's Christmas I can't afford extras. I picked up my car, asked twice if everything went well, once when I called and then when I picked up, they said yes. The next day I took my vehicle on the freeway and my entire car was vibrating, so I brought it back. They removed the tires and the original damaged rim was never actually fixed. i had to discover this myself. Ok service. I ordered a set of tires online and also scheduled my installation appointment. When I called day of the appointment I was told the local shop had no record of my appointment in their system and I would have to wait a week to get my tires installed. I arrived and had a few questions regarding my center caps. The sales person seemed quite annoyed to help me find what replacement center caps I would need for my rims. The install took about 1hr which was good. Installers did not remove the blue protective coating that was sprayed onto the tire logos. Also they were not interested in honoring a competitors price as they advertise price matching- citing shipping costs not being baked into competitors tire costs online. Overall a very mediocre experience, I will find a closer tire shop with bare-minimum service the next time I have $900 to spend on off road tires. read more

Drove from Pullman because they were great the last time I came in. My appointment was at 10:30am, I got there at 10:25am. As I'm waiting for them to take my car in (over an hour after my appointment time at this point), patron after patron come in with no masks on. The pandemic has been going on for a year at this point - I truly don't understand why it's so hard to wear one, but I digress. No customer is asked to put a mask on by any of the discount tire employees - in fact, one patron came in with a mask on, but promptly took it off when his buddy was helped and wasn't asked to put one on. Not only was it frustrating to have to wait so long after arriving early for my appointment, but it's absurd to have to wait in a closed space where no one is held accountable for not wearing a mask. I advised them I will be buying new tires for it but i just bought the car a hour ago and was a little low on cash. They still refused. Now I am back fixing a tire issue on a another set of their tires on a different car. Just overheard them telling another customer that his tires are 17 years old but he filled up the air in them for him. Humm. Now I have 8000 miles on these tires and tire broke a cord.
