The machine ended up charging me $45 for parking, which is outrageous. On top of that, one of the entrance gates wasn't working. I had to back my car out and move to the next entrance just to get in, while the attendant sat in the parking office and did nothing to help. The equipment is unreliable, the customer service is poor, and the parking fees are excessive. There should have been assistance available, especially when the gate was malfunctioning. I would not recommend this parking lot to anyone.

The garage was built at a cost of 84 million dollars when the connecting Margaritaville Resort was built in 2015. The garage has 456 parking spaces for resort guests who pay a daily rate. Visitors to the beach have 600 spots at an hourly rate of $3 an hour on weekdays and $4 an hour on weekends. As you leave the garage there is a set of well marked elevators that take you down to the beach while a second exit requires a hotel key to take you into the resort. When you enter the garage you receive a ticket. You can pay for parking at a kiosk, through text on your phone, or as you exit the garage but this option holds up the line. There was an attendant watching over the cars leaving just in case anyone had a problem getting out. The Margaritaville Garage is across the street from the popular Le Tub restaurant. It is also very close to the Hollywood Beach Theatre on the Hollywood Broadwalk. There are public restrooms as soon as you exit garage. On the nearby broadwalk are a variety of options for shopping, food, and drinks. Street parking is very limited in this area of the beach and if you can even find it costs the same as the garage. Rather than drive around endlessly looking for a spot I find that the garage is an affordable and hassle free option when visiting this part of Hollywood Beach.

We saw hundreds of dogs and their humans - not sure if there was an event or if this was just the norm here. But it was fun to watch cute little puppies. This is one of those high-end malls! But they also had some very good food vendors in the hallways where I got the majority of my snacks and I even got some snacks for Teddy. I was hoping the cute little dog park on the outside would be available to us, but it didn't open until 2:00 p.m. And we were at the mall fairly early. It was a great visit because most of the employees were dog friendly! I'll definitely have to make a trip back to this mall without a dog.
