Not knowing too much about chiropractors, I did some research and decided to bring my teenage daughter in to help her find some relief from her neck pain. Right away from x rays and physical touch they both identified the issue, she was clearly out of alignment. The poor thing had been out of major alignment for some time in her upper neck and have since found out it was causing depression and mood changes. Dr. Kendra Durham stated during my initial visit that she had experience treating my condition and that she had successfully treated other patients with similar issues. Based on those assurances, I proceeded with care. Over time, it became clear that my condition was not well understood. Treatment recommendations were repeatedly inappropriate for my limitations, and weeks into care Dr. Durham acknowledged that she would need to research how to treat my condition. Reasonable accommodations required under the ADA were not consistently provided, despite repeated disclosure and requests, and concerns about communication and safety were minimized rather than addressed. I later submitted a formal written complaint outlining these issues and never received a response from the practice. I do want to note that the front desk staff were consistently kind and professional. Unfortunately, my overall experience was deeply disappointing, and I hope this feedback leads to improved ADA compliance and patient care.

For several mornings, before getting out of bed, I would have a sensation like my phone was under the sheet vibrating and making the area around my elbow feel quivery. He knew right away it was my ulnar nerve. By the second treatment, I had no more problems, nor have I had any ever since. My journey with Dr. D'Sousa has continued on a regular basis, basically with regular treatments regarding postural issues I have had over 15 years from an injured knee.
