I had an unfortunate experience with this spa. On January 17, I tried to cancel my appt for the 18th, I tried to call and the vm was full. I went to the website and a phrase was on their page of "Oops, something went wrong" I sent an email to them. When the owner called me the day of the appointment, she basically called me a liar. She was rude and as previous reviews state she micro-manages everything. Her personality is both drab and she seems miserable. Jolene was the esthetician that I was going to see, she was great and I looked forward to seeing her and receiving treatment. Customer service is important and the owner lacks a sense of understanding and to basically not believe me is unfair, I'm delivering the paperwork that I copied. We decided to give spa Northwest a try after reading several positive reviews. My friend and I were visiting from Los Angeles and were in need of relaxing Swedish massage. My massage therapist was Shay and my friend's was Shelly. We were both very happy with our treatments! Shay was attentive to my needs and catered my Swedish massage to everything that I wanted and ended with my request of a 10 minute scalp massage. Don't let the exterior of this facility for you... It looks like an office building From the outside, but when you walk inside, it is a beautiful, relaxing and calming oasis. The owner was great and very welcoming. While in Florida, my friend and I booked massages at Spa Northwest. From the outside, the building sits in an office complex. You would never guess that such a cute spa sits right inside. When you walk in, the reception area is so cozy and inviting. And there is also a sweet spa dog, Holly to greet you. Shelly was my massage therapist and I had a 75 minute massage that ended with a foot scrub. Shelly was fabulous. She provided the perfect pressure and I left the spa so relaxed and happy. At the end of the massage, we sat back in the waiting room and had a glass of rose before leaving. This spa was such a treat and the price was great, $110 for 75 minutes. read more

Spa Northwest is an amazing facility. The staff is professional and friendly. I started to use the infrared sauna. There are several programs and I use the weight loss program. I find myself feeling lighter when I leave. I sweat out a lot of toxins and my body feels clean on the inside. read more

I spent the winter in Bradenton, and I waited until now to write the review because I wanted Michelle to be available for me Michelle is the best masseuse I've ever had. For context, I've had over 200 massages from at least 100 different masseuses in the past 7 years, and she is hands down the best. I visited her 4 times, so it wasn't a fluke. And don't get me wrong, I've had many many great massages. But this is the top. Her hands are truly like magic. She doesn't follow a cookie cutter routine...she finds the spots that need work, and she targets them effectively. Michelle probably revealed 10 new "spots" on my body that need massaged, that no other masseuse has touched before. Her knowledge is top notch. I learned so much about my muscles and tendons just by asking her questions. I genuinely wanted to take the knowledge home with me because I'm afraid that no one else will ever be as good as her. The whole spa is awesome. The 4.9 Google rating is no joke. I booked an entire day of bliss for my fiancé (body wrap, massage, and facial) and she was delighted from beginning to end. She agreed that Michelle was awesome. She also received a massage from Elizabeth who did an excellent job. Lauren gave me the most amazing facial! I went in with some texture concerns which were discussed before the facial, and Lauren gave me some suggestions to upkeep the results. Very relaxing experience and left with my face feeling smoother than it ever has felt! The pricing was a bit surprising/misleading since online ALL of the 1 hour facials are $85. Once I went to pay they told me it was $99 (not including tip or tax) for the facial, and I didn't do any add-on services. So a bit surprising there to change the pricing from what's shown online. I haven't had a deep tissue massage in forever, after I treated myself to a couple yoga classes and a sound healing session I felt obligated to a deep tissue massage with cupping and hot stones. Wow! I started out with Yoga with Kayla, her classes and energy were spot on. She had some of the best transitions and cues I've had in a yoga class in a long time, you can tell she throughly enjoys serving others with yoga. The deep tissue wasn't as painful as I thought it would be, it actually had me relaxed enough to where I almost fell asleep during the hot stone treatment. This was my first time trying cupping as well, I went home after and I felt so relaxed. I felt as if Spa Northwest help me shed so much old energy that's been weighing me down. So I just went there today and had a fabulous experience!! I had Hayes do a massage and facial and he was AMAZING. I personally love descent pressure applied and Hayes definitely delivered. Also, I am allergic to mango and Hayes went above and beyond by checking each product to make sure it contained no mango ingredients. He accommodated all of my requests and was very nice. Although I don't live in bradenton, when I come back to visit family, I will be returning and asking for Hayes for sure! The spa itself is very nice and clean. The ladies at the front are very sweet and refer to you by name. The prices are very good ($160 for a facial, massage, and foot scrub!) The only pointer (and it's not a negative toward the spa itself) is if you plan on going, give yourself a few extra minutes to get there. I missed the turn so I had to make a loop. read more

My chiropractor recommended a deep tissue massage for my incredibly tight/sore neck. I happened to get in last minute with Ciera and had the best massage in my life. I'm quite particular because my job really wears on my muscles, but she gave so much relief instantly. The 2 stars is because I was charged twice that day. The first time my card was charged, their system malfunctioned and the charge didn't go through. So I paid again. I happened to check my bank statement a couple days later and there were 2 charges from the same day. I contacted the spa and Kayla at the front desk was wonderful and helpful and said the charge would fall off in a few days. It never did. I've since contacted a couple more times, emailed the owner or manager, and got only one response. It's been over a month and I haven't heard back about the $95 charge that's still showing on my statement. I hate to leave a bad review after I had such a pleasant experience, but I want others to know. read more

Ciera was skilled and sensitive and had a range of skills that I could tell she was tuned into my body and what it needed- which resulted in a great massage. I was filled with anxiety, overwhelmed, and didn't know what to do. After searching Google, I found Spa Northwest. I read the description, and Yin Flow Yoga sounded helpful. I've never been to a yoga class, and Kayla made me feel welcome. Kayla's pace was perfect for me, and I'm glad she didn't hold the other participants back while making sure I would benefit from the poses. The class was calming, and I felt better immediately. We were in town for a wedding and booked a massage at Spa Northwest. Please don't let the size of the facility fool you. They are a yoga establishment that also offers spa treatments. This place delivers first class service and EXCELLENT massage therapy. We were tired and stressed from all the wedding prep and my therapist was able to workout all my stress and deliver an amazing massage that relieved all the tension in my shoulders and neck. I wish I could move them to Miami! The people at this establishment are friendly and offer an excellent service at very reasonable prices. My first of this type for me. is awesome. I have had the privilege of meeting the owner and her husband. She has the very best at what they do work for her. The acupuncturist that is associated with the spa is amazing, wonderful, knows her craft. The first massage I had was amazing. My skin was baby skin soft and it stayed that way for months after. Now I have not had the opportunity to avail my self of the other services they offer such as yoga classes, meditation, facials. This place was wonderful! We arrived to visit family down the street who were without power after the hurricane for a week. This spa had power and a really awesome deal for new clients. We were so happy with our massages, the therapists were excellent and everyone was super friendly. This was such a lucky break for us. We were in town for the weekend on vacation, and were looking for two side by side massages in the afternoon. Went on 10/26/17 for a couples massage. At first I was worried....don't judge a book by its cover. Not in the best location however we walked in and it went to "10". It was so nice on the inside. The people were very nice. Massage was very good, they listen to what we wanted.
