He was patient, detailed, and was always willing to stay after class to answer any questions and could always be reached by email. The textbooks used are easy to follow and do a good job explaining the basic rules of the language, and the textbook work is supplemented with worksheets and, once in the intermediate class, weekly tests. The learning environment was always enjoyable and I always looked forward to going to class. The school itself also has a library, and if you sign up to be a member, you can take out videos/books/magazines that are in Japanese. They also have language exchange workshops where students learning English and students learning Japanese get to interact with each other and practiced what they have learned. There isn't a single thing I didn't love about attending class here.
