Save your time on those "big gun stores" like sportsman warehouse ect.. where they just want to sell and aren't informed on their products. My husband and I bought a bore sighting thing from this Company. It would not work on my air rifle because it was one that magnitized to the barrel of the gun. I went to take it back on Friday the same day I bought only to find that the shop had closed early and it was not even 5:30 when it said he was open till. So went to take it on Saturday since I had to be in town, the person there told me he could not do the refund as the owner would have to do that on Tuesday. So on Tuesday I called the guy and he said bring it in, so i took it in and i put it on the counter with my receipt and he said blatenly to me what the F### am i supposed to do with this I cant resale it for new. I said well I dont know. I have taken many things back to other stores and they reshelf them and sale them just fine. So he goes over to his computer, and looks up what one goes for used and gives me that price back. Mind you I paid 52.00 dollars and some change and he gave me back 33.00. He said that is all he can do. I will never ever step foot in this guys freaking business again. He was a complete ass to me. Not sure but I believe he is a woman hater. I will not be treated like that as a customer. I will smear this guys business and he will loose big time. If I did that to customers at my job I would be fired. Nothing's a five-star but they're as close as possible imo. Just purchased a gun from them. It was as easy as CA allows and they were very helpful. Their ammo is reasonably priced and the fact that they have it in stock beats the hell out of all the cut-rate places who have low-ball prices but are out-of-stock. I purchased a trigger assembly from this company and was surprised that they charged me $10 over MSRP, even after they said I was getting a good deal. I've been trying to buy locally and this kind of event makes me think twice. I wasn't looking for the cheapest but charging more than the manufacturer's suggested is wrong. I've done a lot of business with Discreet Defense for the last year and a half. I can't tell you how nice it is to have a local shop that provides the level of customer service they do. It's not easy to run a small business and especially a firearm orientated business in liberal California. Sure, I can find better prices on elsewhere online that sell in bulk but are they located in Red Bluff? And when you have a problem then what? I strongly believe in supporting your local businesses even if that means paying a few dollars more, believe me it's worth it and they need our local support. No, I'm not an employee of DD nor are they aware I even submitted this review. It's entirely based upon my personal experience, love of the shooting sports and the convenience of a local shop that is only a short drive from my home. read more

I bought a RIA 1911 of this people, gun had problems since I purchased it I have brought it in at least 3 different times 2 of them they told me the gun was dirty cleaned it and gave it back. This last time I brought in the gun they told me is the mag. Trying to sell me another mag! That apparently the original mag aint good enough ! Bla- bla- bla-. The point is this guys aren't been responsible and trying to fix the problem this older guy even told me just now after I brought in a video of the problem "well if I can't get the gun to malfunction what do u want me to do ?" Ok I bring in a video of the gun malfunctioning but still there is no problem according to the old fart in the gun shop ? Ok man whatever I will just take my business elsewhere ! People just get treated how your supposed to your paying for this stuff aint for free so no one should treat you like they're making you a favor. Go to any other gun store but this one !
