I was so thirsty from sightseeing, I drank my mango lassi before I thought to capture a photo for this review. It was just the right consistency of thickness and sweetness. For appetizers, I had the king prawns. It was perfectly spiced and delicious. It was followed by chicken biryani and naan. There was a sauce provided for the biryani that took it up another notch. For me, the prawns were the star of the show. At the end of my meal, I got a chance to chat with the owner and learned they are from Nepal. It was a pleasant exchange and the service was great.

For my entrée I will say I ended up going pretty basic and went with Chicken Tikka Massalam but it was just calling my name that night. I comes mild but asked if I could get it hot. Our server did look at me like I was crazy but he said they would give it a try. I will say the rest of our party was a little more adventurous. Once my Chicken Tikka Massalam came out I got into it and it was very good. My sister got the Korma with Chicken (at least that's what she ordered) but she was given Korma with Lamb. I tried hers and I liked it even more then my Tikka and she loved my Tikka she we traded. I'm glad I did too. When the bill finally came, we couldn't wait to leave and pick up what remained of our afternoon. We paid cash to hurry the process, leaving a 10% tip which was generous considering our experience. One of the staff came over took the bill and came back saying that they didn't have a service charge. Yeah, so? In terms of food quality, the most important aspect of a restaurant review, the food was truly SUMPTUOUS, RICH, and TENDER-MEATED. The kadai paneer, which contained paneer with stewed vegetables, was adequately seasoned, flavourful, and succulent. I will say, the quantity of paneer included was MINIMAL, but that is how these restaurants SCAM you: they give you a hefty portion of the cheap stuff, but are overly restrained when it comes to the proteinous goodness. As for the lamb korma, it was RICH. Served in a thique spicy and sweet coconut sauce as yellow as the yolk of a quail's egg, with tender morsels of a lamb's meat, this dish was tantalising. And, finally, the fish pakora. It was flavourful and spiced with a reasonable level of flakiness, such that it was moist but not soggy on the interior and crisp on the exterior. It was served with a delicious yoghurt sauce and a tiny rubbish bag filled with 'salad'. Overall, the food warrants four (4) stars. I have deducted one (1) star due to the LACK OF CARBOHYDRATE in this meal. Little did we know, the saucy dishes are not served with rice or naan. Fortunately, this was carry out and I had some mediocre Co-op naans on hand to seep up the many unctions. So, beware: you must order RICE or NAAN or another INSTRUMENT with which to consume your food, unless you prefer to simply drink the thique and rich juices as you would a cup of tea. Because this food was carried out and consumed in the comfort of my home, I do not factor service, ambience, or other in-restaurant factors into this review. I asked a basic clarification question and was treated with open hostility and public humiliation. There was no justification for this behaviour. This was not a misunderstanding -- it was purely unprofessional conduct and abuse of power toward a delivery driver. Using "policy" or "council rules" as an excuse does not justify shouting at someone or treating them with disrespect. This restaurant clearly lacks basic standards of professionalism and respect. Delivery drivers should be extremely cautious, and management urgently needs to address how staff speak to people who are simply doing their job. This experience was unacceptable.
