Throughout my conversations and inquiries she answered all of my questions and stated I was very thorough. Why yes I am :) 30 minutes prior to my event I called Rania stating my party was running late due to plane delays etc(everyone was coming from out of town) and wanted to know if we could schedule the shoot 45 minutes later. She agreed. 45 minutes later no Rania and instead of calling she sent a text stating in a nutshell she wasn't going to make it because her nanny was unable to stay longer. I rated this business a 2 because I deserved a phone call in the event of cancellation just like I gave her a phone call in the event of my tardiness. After texting and emailing about full reimbursement I was finally fully reimbursed but saw in the notes the following ( money refunded because client was late, not a good fit). I think that's interesting. Was I not a good fit when I submitted my payment in full prior to the shoot? Probably not. I was very disappointed that my photo shoot was cancelled and the way in which it was cancelled and handled. All in all though I received a full refund, so I'm not angry, but honestly the professional shoot was more important to me in the end than the money and as previously stated I did not receive that.

It is here where you can purchase "memory maker" which you can use for either a day or for the entire length of your vacation. All photos taken by photo pass photographers are then downloaded to your My Disney experience app and made available for you to have multiple downloads up to 45 days and then they disappear. In case you are concerned about losing them Disney does sell a flash drive which will have them all on it so you can upload them to whatever device you have whenever you want them. During this visit we had just arrived at Disney and were anxious to try out their services. At this location you stand in front of a "green" screen and they will project various images and locations in the background. Sometimes they will have you look surprised or look at each other a certain way. This is because they are doing a "magic shot" where either a Disney character or certain background appears in the final print. It was here we had photos taken of the backgrounds of all 4 parks just in the event bad weather would run our visit. You can purchase prints of these pictures here or at any photo pass location. However, you are better off printing them at home or at your local pharmacy which is a lot cheaper. As it turned out one of my favorite shots happened to be here and I was so glad at the end of my trip to have it made into a print. Memory maker is a good investment if you plan on taking a lot of pictures from your trip.

I saw the Macbeth Photography station at Florida Blog Con and since I'd heard great things about them and seen their headshots around town I decided to take a turn. Let's be honest- the fact that I had taken the time to doll myself up for the conference was also a deciding factor... It was a quick shoot but as soon as I sat down that familiar, awkward sensation filled my body. Oh boy- I was going to waste some money on these because I look like a mouse caught in headlights (a mouse seems more appropriate than a deer...). Luckily Jim started giving me some direction right away and before I knew it he had captured a great set of images. The image I chose looked effortless, but what you don't see in that picture is the lighting set-up as well as the hostage negotiation it took to get me to look relaxed and natural. A lot of work goes in to those great shots you see on everyone's websites and LinkedIn profiles around town and if you find yourself thinking "Dang, that's a great picture!" there's a great chance Macbeth Photography is behind it. Pro-tip: Macbeth Photography hosts a First Friday photo experience every month with different themed backdrops every time. I've had the chance to go and not only are the backdrops FABULOUS, but his team is also incredibly warm and immediately puts you at ease. Plus- their downtown location (in the Kres building off Orange Ave) is pretty perfect and even boasts some life-sized Star Wars figures.
