Truthfully I prefer the old Disney village! I love the new design and new ideas but I wish they didn't have to destroy the old one to get that. If there was a way to expand Disney village rather than replace it I would much prefer this but for the most part it's really enjoyable. There's a wide range of food and shops (I especially recommend billy bobs, steak house and Annette's diner) I really enjoyed this experience but keep in mind in the shops is pricey but getting in is mostly free (besides the parking which is €30 if you're not disabled or staying in a Disney hotel) Would recommend!!

Is this a joke? lol We have a whole downtown Disney for shopping in the United States/ California Disney. I expected more from the Paris Disney Village. There's a movie theater and one big store. The store doesn't have much in it though. We were looking for Disneyland Paris t-shirts (for adults) and didn't find anything. We even looked for hats. Nothing. This was a really disappointing shopping experience. I will go back to California Disney to do my shopping lol

For those who have been to the Villages in the US, this feels like an after thought. I was there on a Sunday afternoon and short of the official souvenir store the place was sort of empty. There's a few theme restaurants (Planet Hollywood going out of business Jan 7, 2023), a Lego store, movies and not much else. The McDonald's seemed to have been added in the back afterwards. Definitely much smaller than others. Even for the Christmas season it seemed like they added a few stalls, threw up some average decorations and that was it. Definitely sub par for Disney.

Those from Florida like Disney World and those California prefer Disneyland. Disney Paris though not as big as the other two it still brings that Disney feel. As an American you have to remember that Europeans do not have the need to be in a hurry to get things done so patience is a virtue. The lines wait for a ride can be close to two hours and some things can be closed but there is still a lot to do. Remember this is France so don't look for traditional American food so crepes replace hotdogs and waffles are considered a treat. The Disney retail stores are available as are stateside The metro take you right to the main gates and the park is very walk friendly. There is a fireworks show and the park closes at 11 pm, but the nights are not scorchers like LA and Orlando. So if you are in Europe or going make a plan to go to Disney Paris.

Like all Disneyland, the Disney village is located just right outside. There are many restaurants and stores here. No admission required. It is an open area. Yes there are a few hotels located here as well. The Village looked exactly the same in LA. Except the stores are not quite the same.

Not as big as I expected but got what I needed. I tried their churros and it was not american churros. It was more like fried asian bread you eat with porridge but covered in sugar. It was not good. Stop at their western saloon for a quick drink and listen to their band play. Still not as great as bands back home. Happened to just get stuck on the train getting back due to the transit strike. I love Disneyland but not sure if I would come back.

It's tough to compare Disney Village with Disney Springs at Walt Disney World. It almost isn't fair. However, it was quite small and the shops weren't as big as the ones in Orlando. I guess I had a much higher expectation with it being Disney and all. The good: The cute women's shop filled with tons of chic Disneyland merchandise. Earl of Sandwich is one of the restaurants at Disney Village and by far my favorite back in Orlando. We chose to dine at Vapiano since I don't have that at Walt Disney World. The not so good: There is much more left to be desired from this area. It looks old and outdated. They might be working on that though to their defense since I did see a bit of construction. It can be confusing to navigate. Even though it was a small area, we walked around in circles trying to find Vapiano and Five Guys (right next to each other) only to find it was outside the security check point. So we had to leave the secured area and go through the metal detectors again after dinner. It'll do to get your souvenirs but you don't have to dedicate a lot of time to check out this part of Disneyland Paris.

Disney Village is pretty much equivalent to Downtown Disney in California or Disney Springs in Florida. It's just a hop and a skip away from the Marne la Vallée Chessy train station. You'll have to go through security check before entering the village. Here you can get a little bit of the Disney experience without having to go inside one of the parks. There are a lot of restaurant options as well as several Disney stores to buy anything and everything Disney. I picked up a few Disneyland Paris pins for my friends back home.

A charming park! Not…read morea very big park, but a very beautiful park. There are much less rides to enjoy here, but much more pretty views and things to-do. The food is also not as good at this park, but there are some wonderful sit-down dining experiences. Pros and cons, but overall a park that's worth the visit at least once! Really enjoyed a few of the rides. For the thrilling rides, I LOVED Hyperspace Mountain. Coming from CA, it was not at all what I expected, but I had a great time. It was basically a full-on roller coaster and I screamed the entire time. Avengers Flight Force was also unexpectedly thrilling. Loved Crush's Coaster and of course Frozen Ever After and Ratatouille were fantastic. I really liked Phantom Manor which I found to be spookier than the original Haunted Mansion. Big Thunder was fun (and longer) and more thrilling than its CA counterpart. I had a great time!

While we absolutely adored Tokyo Disney, which is unique from it's merch to it's rides, Disneyland Paris feels like a logistically difficult echo to what's in the states. The TGV train from the airport wasn't great and getting picked up by Uber at the station was rife with scams. We felt generally that the park was not worth the hassle you go through to transit there (somewhat similar to my feelings on WDW actually). That being said the food was good and I enjoyed trying our Premier Access for rides (it made our visit a lot more smooth) but all in all I don't see us coming back as there's not much here that's unique outside of their fantastically large pins.

The spookier, the better (that's my mindset anyway lol) The Phantom Manor lives up to the hype! It triumphs its American counterpart and buries it 6 feet under... As others have noted; it is darker than the Haunted Mansion. So, no little littles for this one. Sadly, I didn't get any pictures. I was too wrapped up in the experience to even think about photos. From what I read because they changed the music for French audiences and this version is in Frontierland they changed the scope of the ride and felt it needed a different name. In my opinion, Phantom Manor (like most of the rides we rode at Disneyland Paris) was weaker than the original at Disneyland. It does feel slightly longer but from the music to the decor to the doom buggies, everything is just a little less magical. The best parts are the echos of the original. With Premier Pass the ride was walk on (although up a few sets of stairs), so I definitely recommend riding it if you visit, but I would keep my expectations low.
