Disneyland has plenty of unique popcorn stands throughout both parks. Whipping up fresh popcorn you can smell in an instant, creating a beautiful aroma to get lost in! The cast members are always friendly, and even serve up in fun popcorn containers depending on the cart and availability. Popcorn doesn't get any better than Disneyland popcorn!

HOT FRESH POPCORN AT THE HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH! The best $5.00 I think a person could spend at Disneyland! Not too salty, not too buttery, hot, and yum!it was just right! The CM at the cart was amazing, super kind and helpful. Most of the Disney workers are really...well, not so friendly. . LOL. . So, I'm glad that she was! Of all the money I spent that day, this was definitely up there in quality and taste!

    Christmas Popcorn Bucket - $28.25

There are a ton of Popcorn Carts at Disneyland. I wish they offered refill prices again like they did pre COVID. Florida had this option when we went this year. Boxes are $5.50 Christmas Popcorn Bucket - $28.25 We hunted for the Christmas Bucket this pass weekend. They were at the Mark Twain stand. Line was an hour on Friday and only 15 minutes on Sunday. Hopefully they still have it if you are hunting for it.

Disneyland changed the oil they use and the salt so the usually spectacular popcorn is diminished in flavor and magic.

    Main Street Popcorn Cart!

If you combine Disney fanatics with Yelp; wanna know what you get? Grossly exaggerated reviews for just about everything Disney! Ugh! When Disneyland opened in 1955, the park was selling popcorn on Main Street. In this the second year of the Diamond Celebration (it was so much fun celebrating 60 years, Disney decided to do it twice), Disneyland has come up with a special container ( https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/disneyland-popcorn-cart-anaheim?select=vz8MJTJNrplT99lukN1uRg ) to hold your popped corn. There is another bucket available in New Orleans Square ( https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/disneyland-popcorn-cart-anaheim?select=zbHPYWFf0jf6svkz4hT6Sg ) which costs a little more, but might be more appealing for young boys. Rohlinism: If something was fun the first time, you should repeat it. Unless it is a hallmark anniversary! Seriously Disney?! What happened? Didn't sell enough Diamond Celebration coffee mugs the first time around?! For passholders, there is an addition perk with the AP Bucket ( https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/disneyland-popcorn-cart-anaheim?select=jAypqdLhMJEWRHQes-Y4sA ) which costs $15.00, but a refill of the bucket will only cost a passholder $1.00 ( https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/disneyland-popcorn-cart-anaheim?select=RWmcGbpkBQufUXNLpSmu2A ) until the offer ends on the 5th of this September. To get the refill, you must present a passholder ID at the time of purchase. If you are thinking about running to the park and getting your own AP Bucket, I believe Disneyland has sold out since I didn't see any of the carts selling the buckets the last time I was there. Disneyland recently ended it relationship with ConAgra's Orville Redenbacher's and as of last September has signed a new long term agreement with Diamond Foods Inc.'s Pop Secret. In addition to markets on ABC Family and the Disney Channel, Pop Secret will become the title sponsor for Fantasmic. Here is a bit of trivia that some Disneyland regulars might not know. There are seven popcorn carts located in Disneyland. They are location on Main Street, in Tomorrowland, near the Matterhorn, in Fantasyland, Toon Town, Frontierland and New Orleans Square. The next time you are at one of these carts, check out the character churning the popcorn. Each location has a different "personality" churning popcorn: Main Street USA - Main Street Popcorn Man ( https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/disneyland-popcorn-cart-anaheim?select=jhWXn1gVJFy3uiUPVY6OAg ) Tomorrowland - Rocketeer Popcorn Man ( https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/disneyland-popcorn-cart-anaheim?select=aezYHGchB2feGyD4XgSzhw ) Matterhorn - Matterhorn Popcorn Yeti ( https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/disneyland-popcorn-cart-anaheim?select=4DP6T37jrtHUT_rIZyaUrg ) Fantasyland - Fantasyland Popcorn Clown ( https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/disneyland-popcorn-cart-anaheim?select=jjOuzcG5h-N4Ruhn8BoqRg ) Toon Town - Toon Town Popcorn Engineer Frontierland - Frontierland Popcorn Davy Crockett ( https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/disneyland-popcorn-cart-anaheim?start=30&select=UIYMNwJdQcg_ruWTjZbVVA ) New Orleans Square - Haunted Mansion Popcorn Ghost There are two main issues why the popcorn carts are not worthy of more than 3 stars. The first issue is the price of the popcorn. I am not sure what a movie theater charges for a small box of popcorn these days, but I would be willing to bet it is nearly the same as the offensive $4.25 price tag Disneyland puts on their small box. C'mon Disney it is dry, heated corn, oil and some salt! The second issue is taste / freshness. Disneyland does pop the corn at the cart, the problem is you don't know if you are getting a scoop of the fresh stuff or a scoop that has been sitting around since the park opened. At best, you are going to get a decently seasoned portion of popcorn sans the butter. At worst, you are getting something that contributes to all those mallard ducks remaining in Disneyland! In my experience, I have had less of the former and more of the latter. I might be personally responsible for screwing up several migration patterns! My complaints about quality and price will probably fall on deaf ears because the Disneyland Resort sells a staggering 185,000 lbs. of popcorn every year. For those concerned about their health, Disney uses only a combination of coconut, corn, and canola oil (vegan) to pop their corn and kosher salt. Popcorn in general is also free of gluten. I would have probably taken another star off, but Disneyland made a good overture with the AP Bucket and there are also two Souvenir Sippers (Chernabog and World of Color) available to passholders. The price for the sippers is $25.00 and it allows to either get regular beverage refills for $1.00 or for an additional 50 cents you can get a frozen beverage refill. In my opinion, the extra 50 cents is well worth the price.

Popcorn ($4.25): just a regular buttered popcorn but it's kinda good. Not sure when they popped it because it tasted almost stale. We got it kinda late...maybe we'll get it earlier next time. Good for popcorn chowder though. Popcorn chowder = clam chowder + popcorn. 3 stars!! Disneyland Popcorn Cart is almost yummylicious!!

*Pop!* ... *Pop!* ... *Pop Pop!* .. *POP POP POP POP POP POP POP!* Ah, the sound of freshly popped popcorn is one of many pleasures to hear while walking around the Park(s). To walk by a popcorn cart and catch a whiff of the it, well..I wouldn't blame you if you couldn't resist the temptation. Popcorn. A staple snack item at Disneyland (and Disney California Adventure) that can be found almost anywhere in (either) the Park. I am not much of a popcorn eater, but every now and then, walking around Disneyland with a bag of popcorn can be a nice treat. Themed popcorn buckets are now an option when purchasing popcorn. Don't want popcorn to mess up your themed popcorn bucket? No problem, just let the Cast Member know and chances are they will just put that popcorn in the standard paper bag container. Please note that popcorn buckets cost more than the regular cardboard bag container, so you will be charged accordingly. As it gets closer and closer to Park closing, some of the less visited popcorn carts may close early as well, so you may want to keep that in mind.

THE BEST buttered popcorn ever!!!!! The popcorn is evenly buttered, salted and most of all always fresh!!! My mouth dances when I eat them. So much better than movie theater popcorn.

How is this not 5 stars across the board! Shame!!! I've only recently become a Disneyland popcorn fangirl. The child has a serious popcorn obsession. So serious that when we go to Disneyland, we hold it over her head for good behavior. But listen up, can't blame her. It's buttery and salty goodness without being the greasy lead brick that movie popcorn leaves in your gut. Wow. I need to go grab some now.

$1 refills for pass holders until April 2017!!! Yes, please!
