One of the most memorable stores at Knotts Berry Farm. This store is huge!!! It's most memorable for me because I remember the big bear and the sasquash lol I mean how many stores do you see a giant black bear and Sasquash statues inside?? lol They also sell a lot of clothing, hats and knick knacks. I found a cute T-shirt that I bought. In the back, I found a clearance section with last year's Halloween stuff on sale. That's cool. I love Halloween. Knotts may be a mess but this gift shop is cute. We just went to the park for the Boysenberry Festival and I LOVE Boysenberry so had to get some goodies to take home. This store has a bit of everything- Knotts merch, snacks, gifts. It's outside the park so anyone can go in. I ended up getting some Boysenberry tea (in a really cute reusable wooden box), premium preserves, and sugar free concentrate. We had the kindest woman helping us check out who even gave me some tips on how to use my Boysenberry concentrate. Can mix it with water or iced tea! Everything tastes amazing. I think my fave is the tea. You can also order items from this shop online if you can't make it to Buena Park. Bonus fun: There is a really cool Knotts timeline on the walls that features photos, artwork, and a map from back in the day. My mom and grandma were telling us stories of how the park used to be and pointing things out on the map- it was really sweet. Lots of history here! read more

This shop sells variety of Knott's Berry Farm souvenirs. This shop tends to open at 9am and very consistent when I went there for 4 days to take a look. Some of the other shops like the bakery, peanuts shop sometimes open 15 to 30 minutes later. Here are the main items 1. Vintage rides - soapbox racers, Kingdom of the dinosaurs, Big foot, parachutes 2. Current rides - Bear-y Tales- Return of the fair, Calico River Rapids, Ghost Rider 3. Typical Knotts gear like hats, sweatshirts, t-shirts 4. Some peanuts items - you can go across the street for a lot more, but we did see some Snoopy and Belle dolls 5. Boysenberry everything - concentrate, jams, wax, etc 6. Misc toys - not so sure why they gave it there, but if people buy it then they buy it. I drove the 100+ miles ( each way) because Shaun returned my call inquiring about my favorite products. I am obsessed by the Orange dressing and the Orange Chipotle Savory sauce. Highly obsessed! In one week, my family has gone thru an entire bottle of the dressing. We are not glugging it on, either. We are eating two salads a day. As for the Orange Chipotle, I drizzled it on crab cakes and it instantly enhanced and elevated the flavor profile. I needed more and was willing to drive. This store is more like the boutique out of all the many different stores in the marketplace. Carries Angie brand dresses at full price (love that brand, it's boho, beachy and flowy). Also carries an impressive array of gemstone pendants (authentic, I'm pretty knowledgeable in this area; I make jewelry for my friends and family), that I considered purchasing since many of them were in the $10 range (I decided against it, since I already have a collection at home). It is nice to look, though, because it would be a good place to get gifts for the ladies in your family that like gemstone/ silvertone jewelry. Outside, in the hallway is more boysenberry food items, and the counter is in the middle. This would be the only one without the Knotts logo clothing (located at the other stores within the marketplace). read more

This Store is cute for sure. I am so grateful and happy that the whole shopping plaza is open outside of Knott's Berry Farm. The store has some very cute gift ideas and souvenirs for Knott's Berry Farm enthusiasts. The pricing is a bit high but given the proximity to the park, it's understandable. Also, dare I say a bit of a tacky vibe. However, the whole area, including this store needs a major overhaul. Structural, both inside and out/ general condition of the store are not good. I understand it costs a lot of money to refurbish, but it would have been a good idea, if the budget allowed, to have refurbished this area during the pandemic lock-down. read more

After our long, wonderful day at Yelp Elite's Ditch Day last month, I was looking forward to visiting the shops in the Marketplace area of Knott's, outside the front gates. We were ready to sit down and take a break first, so headed for dinner at Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner Restaurant. Virginia's Gift Shop is closest to the entrance to the amusement park and shares a corridor with the restaurant. Once we regained some energy, we went to check out the shop. It just didn't grab me with the merchandise on display. It's mostly souvenirs, t-shirts, and lower end tchotchkes, geared to kids. They did have some Star Wars items, and Peanuts characters' goodies, since that's the licensing deal for the park. Overall, it didn't really hold my attention. It's a good sized space, and there's room to maneuver, which is great. Just not that interesting for adults who already have lots of stuff. Would need to be something really eye-catching or unique to get me interested. The front window displays were cute, though. Will give them that credit! read more

Don't let the location fool you, this is not a run-of-the-mill souvenir shop! This place is a true gift shop, if not a collectables shop! Great store with lots of wonderful gift ideas and niche items. Definitely a store for collectors, not necessarily for souvenirs. Items range from pricy Lladro figurines to shiny Hello Kitty trinkets, and everything in between; Elvis, Star Wars, Disney, I Love Lucy, Minions, 70s icons, Native American collections, Coca-Cola, of course Peanuts Gang with Snoopy, and the list really does go on and on. I love to stroll around and peek at all the nooks and crannies during the holidays, you never know what you'll find that will be perfect for that "someone" on your list. This is a "once a year" store for me, unless I know what I'm headed there for. Lots of variety and huge price range. Service is pretty typical... as most retail, it is hit or miss. I think if grading on a curve it is more hit than miss though. Worth a stop if you are out shopping! read more

This store has a really good selection of apparel, unique gifts and collectibles, and Knott's memorabilia. The store is fairly large and has several entrances. One section of the store has lots of clothing, backpacks, and flip flops with brands like Volcom, Quicksilver, and O'Neil. There were some cute handbags, comfortable hoodies and sweatshirts, Knott's t-shirts, and even some jewelry. There's also a huge selection of Hello Kitty items here. Plenty of plush toys, backpacks, lunch boxes, cups, hair accessories, jewelry, cosmetic cases, and toiletry kits are found in the middle of the store. There was a section dedicated to Star Wars clothing and collectibles. There's even some Coca Cola memorabilia here. This store has a great selection of items but is in need of some serious remodeling. The carpeting is torn and dirty. The rest of the store looks a bit worn as well. Service could improve a bit as well. We wandered the store for a while before anyone greeted us. This store has great potential. There are some fun items here. With improved service and a bit of updating, this store could be really nice! read more

I am not sure what kind of store this is suppose to be. It is like a miss-mash of different items. It reminds me of one of those stores in the malls that takes unsold or extra inventory from other places and tries to sell it themselves. Not only does this store have Knott's merchandise, but you can also find other merchandise such as Disney, Hello Kitty, Elvis, I Love Lucy. There is even a section for those that like tea pots and tea cups, an area dedicated to Native American / Western art, plus some other weird stuff that I think hasn't been actually touched in years. It's just so weird. Even with all of its oddities, people tend to find some stuff to buy. Maybe you might be one of them too if you stop on by :) read more

Somehow i remember this place differently when I was younger. Now I feel like this place is like any other gift shop that you go to. I remember being able to feel like I was actually in an actual country store. But not so much. What was really disappointing is the peanut store. There were barely any sizes for infants and toddlers which is who I would buy most of my novelty clothing for. So sad when the original charm of a store is gone to make way for higher sales. I have been trying to track down the link Knotts cowgirl hat for years. My bff, my daughter and I took a pic 9 years ago and wanted to recreate it. Her cowgirl hat was long ago tossed. We have been looking for this hat since before the pandemic. We took a trip out there today to see if they had it. Jessica was amazing. We asked and she knew exactly what we were looking for. She told us that she remembers one left last week but she thought it was sold. She offered to check in the back. She suggested we try the stores in the park, but we don't have a season pass. So she went to ask her lead, Sean. He said there was one left in the back. It was the only one left in the whole park. He grabbed it for us and offered us 10% off since there were some dents in the hat. Jessica and Sean made our day. Their level of customer service was above and beyond. I hope management sees this and they get some kudos. read more

What happened to this place? It use to be a place for decent souvenirs and higher end things like art glass and porcelain figures. I would get one special piece even if it was small, every time I went. I was SO disappointed. Now it's filled with tacky souvenirs and jam. read more

I came to this store yesterday I have to say nothing has really changed..I'm a local to this area but they do have a lot of nice collectibles in this store.. I was pretty blown away with all the nice Disney stuff they had in the back, but of course what caught my attention was the kick ass Wizard of Oz collectibles they had. Since I'm a huge fan of this movie the collection of their dolls stood out the most for me.. Pricey of course but that's to be expected. I'm giving a 3 star instead of 4 due to the fact it was 90 degrees yesterday and they didn't have the AC turned up high enough.. How do you expect your customers to spend a lot of money on these expensive items if you can't even be comfortable walking around the store without having to feel like you immediately want to take a shower the moment you leave?? Giftshop located just outside the park in the California Marketplace area, just next door to Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner. Cut through here on our way to the restaurant, then returned to see what they had- was specifically looking for preserves and marmalades made by the Knotts family, but those are actually in the bakery on the other side of the restaurant. This shop has friendly staff and a wide variety of souvenir items, some of which have little or no connection to the park itself. In fact, very few items actually had anything to do with Knotts- a variety of superhero products (lunchboxes, figurines, shirts), a corner full of psychedelic frog memorabilia, several shirts, and even a Coca Cola collectibles area. Pricing was a bit steep, as you'd expect for where this place is located. Ultimately though, there was nothing here unique to the park location and thus no real reason to get your items here over somewhere else. read more

The store was recently remodeled and while it did need it, they also removed 100% of the finer collectibles in the process. I realize the average Knott's customer is probably not looking to acquire a fine piece of porcelain while visiting the amusement park but Walter Knott's daughter set this store up to be a great mix of gifts and collectibles. Now it's amusement park garbage souvenirs. Very upsetting. Even the display cases that once held nicer items are gone forever, replaced by rows of jams, jellies, popcorn and the like - all of which is available at other shops in the Marketplace. I will definitely miss the original collection of merchandise Virginia herself offered when she was still alive. read more

Great selection, neat store, this review is just for the service we received. I WISH I would've noted the lady's name, but unfortunately, I hauled outta there before thinking of taking that mental note. We stopped in there today after visiting the park for a few hours. My husband, 2 yr old daughter, 3 yr old son, and I were browsing the Thomas trains and hello kitty stuff (their respective obsessions). Now I know toddlers well, and I will certainly lay no claims that mine are sweet innocent angels. However, they are well-behaved and they respect people and property. With that said, my daughter chose a hello kitty stuffed animal and was hugging it when a not so lovely older crotchety lady came up to my husband and said, "She shouldn't be touching that unless you're planning on buying it." Well, we were, so that settled that. Although she planted the first seed of doubt with that comment. Next, she followed us around the store (mind you, my kids were not running, shouting, or grabbing stuff off of shelves) for the next 10 minutes, at a safe, but not so conspicuous distance. My son was holding a train piece we were considering for purchase when she again approached us warning that "He needs to put that back, the price tag may come off if he's holding it." Noted: this is not a kid-friendly welcoming store environment. I took my business elsewhere. I can understand if perhaps in the past kids came tearing through the store like Tasmanian devils, but don't judge every family that walks in assuming the worst. We are here to spend our money at your establishment. I sure wish to see better customer service training in the future. read more

Absolutely horrible customer service. We wanted to pay cash for our purchase and were made to wait (literally) 15 minutes for someone to approve our $100 bill. The supervisor was on a break and no one else could approve it. By the way, nothing wrong with the money. Their policy is any amount over $50 needs approved by a supervisor, but the customer is made to wait until it's convenient for them. After 15 minutes we ended walking out without our purchase. My sister and I went to visit Virginia's Gift Shop today because we hadn't been there in years and we were so disappointed. Gone are the wonderful unique things we were hoping to see. Now it's just a bunch of commercial junk you see in every other store followed by rows and rows of jams, jellies and popcorn. There's also a candy store and an emporium which has over priced merchandise and across the street there is a Peanuts store and TGIFridays but again commercial junk nothing unique. Gone is the bee hive encased in glass that I loved to go look at. I know I'm going way back but other than Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner Restaurant there's nothing left outside the main gates anymore. It has lost all of its charm. It's very sad when you have something that make you special and different and sets you apart from other amusement parks and then you change so you become just like all the rest. read more
