Our daughter wanted to have a "teen nightclub" themed dance party for her 14th birthday! At that age it's really challenging to find a venue for a great party that is safe and supervised, but also, crazy fun! Rachael helped us put together a party that was the "talk of the school" event! Everyone was buzzing about this party! Rachael, with the help of some other fantastic companies, like LEO party rentals, and BELLY caterers put together a very reasonably priced and very trendy dance party for Emma and her friends. It was so easy to plan, and even easier to sit back and enjoy the kids having a fantastic time! We couldn't have planned this terrific event without her! Rachael helped us coordinate with everyone. She sat down with me to brainstorm many times before the party, and took care of everything. The tiniest of details were covered! All of the event was kept within a very reasonable budget! We would also like to send a thank you out to the Goggleworks for their terrific, and very trendy "loft" like room, for the party location. The dj " DJ JG" John Gosselin was also a fantastic addition to the party! He knew exactly what music the kids wanted to hear. Everyone danced the entire night! For a while we were like nah, we don't need a planner we got this. And we did! The problem came when the execution of the wedding itself came into play. Who would cue the entrance, who would manage the vendors, who would guide the guest transitions, who would check the audio, who would make sure the cake topper made it to the cake, who would make sure our card box got back to us safe and sound? After seeing Alejandro in action it's truly terrifying to think that we were even considering not having a same day coordinator. And let me tell you ... we picked the best of the best! I mean, seriously go to this guy's reviews and IG photos. It's obvious we are not the only ones who share our love of this man and his wedding coordination/planning skills. He was organized, positive, fun (!), and very obviously knew what he was doing. Alejandro and Sparkle Events felt like a friend or a family member who cared as much as we did about having the best wedding ever. Sometimes we'd be like ... let's do this! And he'd be like, I like that but here are some things to think about based on what I've seen. (SO HELPFUL!) He'd listen to our ideas and always try to make it work. He made our day so special. And after we had our wedding, our guest did nothing but rave about how fun, unique and perfect the reception was. But just having a reception at RTM is not what I'd recommend it. It was so much more. It was having the incredible variety of foods - we had cheesesteaks, DiNic's roast pork, Chinese food, a salad bar, poutine and corn dogs, grilled cheese from Meltkraft, the list goes on. It was having a historic and unique setting that was transformed into a beautiful evening even with string lights, candles, table clothes, decorations and provided an ambiance it'd be impossible to replicate anywhere else. It was the servers who attended to our guests every need, kept the party going, the room clean and the people happy. It was every little touch that the planning team executed perfectly for us, that all happened without us realizing it, without any reminders or questions. The planning team at All About Events were the true heroes of the night - and in fact, the whole planning process. We met with them about 15 months before our wedding, and Christina, Stevie and Liam made sure that everything was easy, fun and exciting. Christina's emails to us were always clear and thorough, addressing every little question I had asked, and pointing out tiny things I never would have thought of. Stevie's communication with our vendors was so appreciated, including our Mummers and DJ! And every time we met with them, the meetings were exciting, joyful. Their personalities and kindness and caring for us and our events just SHONE. We could not recommend RTM and AAE more. They are a truly wonderful team, and a gem in the Philadelphia wedding scene. We contacted Danielle by email to inquire about coordinating our wedding event. After several emails over the course of a 1 day. Danielle decided that we were not a good fit and referred us to another company. We never had the chance to speak with her directly, before she made this decision. She claimed that we responded in 1 sentence responses and because of that we were not a good fit. After being on her website we were excited at the possibility of working with her. We responded to her emails during our work hours and provided answers to questions asked. Very Very dissappointed and not a good start to our wedding process. Stress! Danielle met with us multiple times to understand the vision the grooms were looking for, and made many suggestions on food, amenities, etc. as we were planning for "The Big Party". On the day of the event, Danielle and her assistant showed up early and assured us that anything that was needed, they would take care of and they were true to their word! They spent the day not only making sure that our backyard looked like something out of a fairy tale, but that the grooms were getting all of the attention to detail that they wanted. Our venue provided a coordinator, but we were concerned that we would not receive the attention to detail that we were looking for. Danielle hit it out of the park! From day one, she took over managing the contracts with all of our vendors, fielded all calls and questions from them, was always available to answer our endless questions, etc. But I can honestly say that our actual wedding day would not have turned out as wonderful as it was if Danielle and her lovely assistant Fran were not on site to make sure everything went perfectly. They set everything up according to the floorplan we created together, made sure everything went as planned, broke down and boxed up everything afterwards, and then even loaded our vehicle. I really love the modern look of the ballroom, the high ceilings and I like the added metal fixures on the chandeliers which gave them a more modern look. The room is very large and spacious and can hold a lot of guests. The gazebo ceremony was a lovely area as the sun was setting. The food was great, and the staff are so friendly, I especially loved working with the wedding coordinator who works really hard, I've met her before at another event.
