I came to Rhondi with two previous tattoos that were both a different color and were not superimposed on one another. Due to a poorly skilled tattooist, I ended up with two arches and two tails on my right eye ! I was horrified! I got lip blushing over 4 weeks ago and my lips are back to their natural color - maybe 10% of the color is there but it's pink not salmon - she went outside the line on one side so now they are uneven. I was told that the color we use is the color the lips would end up being so we went with a salmon natural color. I loved them on day 1 and 2 since my lips were still swollen and very full looking! On day 3 the color faded. (Pics are before and after, day 1 and now, 4 weeks later) Had I been told they'd fade up to 60% I would have gone darker. After they faded I asked Rhondi why she didn't tell me that it would fade and she said light colors don't fade. I contacted 6 other artists, as well as did research on line, and all said that all colors fade, no matter how light. I kept in touch showing Rhondi my lip color every few days and she assured me the color would come back. I'll be paying another artist to get them done the right way, and knowing the color will fade I'll go much darker. I'm stuck with one side looking weird b/c its outside the natural lip line. She asked me to take Xanax before driving to her (so my BF took off work to drive me there) and when I arrived she used orange numbing gel from her husband's dental practice in NYC. 2 things that made me very uncomfortable. This Friday will be one month since I got my eyebrows done too. She did it out of her home (Isn't tattooing in your home illegal) told me I had to take Xanax (I told her I didn't think it was necessary) she insisted over and over again. She didn't measure my brows - I drew them on myself and she tried to fix them and made them look worse so I had to fix them. She didn't put hair like strokes on my eyebrows so I'm not even sure she microbladed them and I bled profusely during the process and continued bleeding until the next day. Rhondi had never seen anyone bleed that much. After a few days, they turned steel grey and it looked like someone took a marker and colored them. When I saw this, I texted Rhondi and she told me to let them heal for the 4 weeks and they'd get better. I'm embarrassed to leave the house. For 10 days we texted back and forth b/c I was anxious, sad, upset, depressed, desperate for a solution to fix them. She kept asking me to be patient assuring me that you can throw brown heavy hair strokes over it. I consulted with 8-10 artists, makeup colorists and even the instructor who teaches at the school with the products Rhondi uses and each of them said: DO NOT COLOR OVER THEM! THEY WILL GET DARKER AND LOOK HARSHER. BROWN WILL NOT COVER UP GREY - THEY WILL LOOK BLACK. Each artist said you bled and they turned grey b/c she went in too deep and the instructor at said she used a color that didn't compliment your skin color - artists are supposed to modify color and use certain colors based on your skin tone, etc... that wasn't done for me. Each artist I consulted with including the instructor at Biotouch, which is the color Rhondi uses, advised that I get saline or laser removal and start over. The grey is not fixable. And they each said, get saline today, don't wait any longer b/c the more the color sets in, the harder it is to get out. So I started my very painful saline removal procedure a few days ago and I pray it works and doesn't scar. My experience has been painful and horrible. Rhondi said if I post my experience, she will respond and bash me, how I sent her 240 text messages hysterical over my eyebrows. I admit I freaked out and cried after a week but who wouldn't be freaked out with grey eyebrows! She sent me a $500 bill for 240 text messages. I counted and I sent 79 after they turned grey and she sent me 55, over 10 days. Most of my texts were photos. I'm actually afraid to post this for fear of how she'll react to an honest google review. read more

I have been going to Cateyz Lash Studio for years and the only time I stopped was during Covid when it was closed due to compliance with NJ regulations. I had been on the fence for years on what to do with my crazy shaped eyebrows which continued to decline over the years. They were causing me huge amounts of time to fix each day when getting ready and doing my makeup. I realized that the same reasons that I started with my eyelashes to reduce the time spent in my busy life was a similar driving force to do the permanent make-up. Even though I have been a long term client, Rhondi treated me with the upmost care from beginning to end to ensure my entire experience was nothing but the best. She went through a complete consultation to discuss what I was trying to achieve and to come up with a design and plan that I felt comfortable with knowing it would feel like a big change to my facial appearance. The same way I trusted her to my eyelashes I gave her complete reign to use her expertise to transform me. She uses the latest equipment and high end products which made me feel comfortable that they were not cheap materials that I would be allergic to. After the procedure was completed; I was nervous to look in the mirror and was so happy with the results. It is a big change so you need to be prepared if you have gone years of putting your own "on". It was love at first site and I knew that we would get to that happy place even though they appeared dark. You need to take care of all of the instructions given for 2 weeks and then when after the perfect time of healing, she gave me the final tweak of a 2nd round to make them PERFECT.
