Diva Nails has been a great experience since day 1. I have had a few nails tech from Tina, Ben, and Brian. There techniques and communication has been superb. Brian has taken me out of my comfort zone with just natural nails to introduce me to some simple fun designs! He always listens to my ideas and makes it very comfortable with the soft chairs with pillows. Everything is done in a timely manner with exceptional service. I came in for a soak off and it was my first time at this establishment. I don't get my nails done often or removed even... but absolutely needed to get my last set off. When I walked in there was a little boy playing, running up and down the singular aisle, hitting the back of my chair eventually... I understand needing to bring your child to work and am pretty forgiving to it but the atmosphere was chaotic because of this. While I was soaking my nails I had time to notice how dirty everything was. There's dust & nail debris everywhere, polish containers are disgusting. I can understand why others said they had debris in their polished nails. A small roach crawled across my counter while the tech was working on my nails and she quickly tried to smoosh it so I wouldn't notice and go back to working. After the soak and removal there was no instruction to clean nails. Just wipe them down and tossed nail oil on them. I still had so much debris all over my hands... I didn't want to ask for anything more than what was given because the tech who worked on mine literally itched her nose in such a way that fluid was flying out (thankfully at the end of service but went on to others without cleaning her hands). This has always been my go-to for nails and I love this salon. But something about my nails I got yesterday was just extra special. I've been in the hospital for a few weeks and decide to treat myself when I got out. I can not remember the sweet ladies name who did my nails. But thank you so much. They are beautiful! Quick stop for a pedicure, they are located on Augusta Hwy in the parking with Lowes food. By the way, I love me some Lowes Food!! They were busy when I visited, I waited maybe 15min for service. Customers service was great and the salon was clean, everyone was wearing mask. The pedicure bowels all had individual plastic throw away covers. My nail tech was fast, friendly and helped me decide on a color for my service. Pricing was fair, all the nail shops are charging about the same in this area. I dont really like small kids in a nail salons unless they are receiving service. There were kids touching and not really social distancing. Parenting is essential....I have a grown daughter that went everywhere with me when she was small, so I get it. I would use them again in the future. The word appalled can't begin to describe how I felt when I found out the manager told my goddaughter, a young teenager, not to come back in her salon after she wanted her nails repaired that were not done properly. If this is how they treat customers, especially young ladies, I wouldn't advise anyone to set foot in this establishment. The mgr at Diva Nails in Lexington is extremely Rude and unprofessional. She told My Child, which is 13 years old to never come back to her salon to get a refill after she messed up her nails (the glitter ones) and we went back for her to fix them and she said that it how they were suppose to be! i've been to this place multiple times and even though there nails are generally good there service is not. I got an acrylic french tip set ($55 for acrylic set, $10 for design). The guy doing my nails was very nice. I asked how much rhinestones on my nails would be and he said since i'm only getting two (one in each ring finger) it would be free of charge. I then also mentioned I went to lexington high school and he gave me a 10% off for a student discount. The nails ended up being 51 dollars and some change. I additionally gave my nail tech an $8 cash tip. I was happy with my nails and pleased with the service until i received a message from the owner. she stated that my nails were not $51 they were in fact $95!!! She told me in the message that she had already taken $30 out of my bank account!! I immediately called and whenever I tried to talk her and her husband talked over me and we're very rude! They said they will put the money back on my card but it's still not right! even if the nails happened to be $95 (they weren't) it still is not only illegal but isn't right to charge me without my consent! read more

Took my sister here for a quick girls' outing after we've both been stressed and requested the basic packages for mani pedi despite being pressured to do more. I had gel done and they've come out lumpy and much lighter than the advertised shade, as well as weirdly splotchy.The tech I had seemed uninterested and often just walked away to sit in another area on his phone. Thankfully my sister had a better tech and pretty much got what she asked for. When I went to pay, the total was $200! Even looking at the itemized receipt didn't make this make sense. My sister was charged extra for "long nails" and "shaping" on top of the charge for acrylic nails, despite asking for them to be fairly short and in a standard almond shape. Absolutely not worth what we got. I'm not generally one to complain, but $200 for two basic mani pedis is just insane. read more

If I could leave 0 stars I would. This was a terrible experience. The guy painted my nails on feet and hands so uneven. It looked like an elementary atudent had completed it. Then he charges me more than advertised for the Mani&Pedi combo. When asked he says because you paid with card. No where was that price difference advertised. And he had charged me the overpriced amount before I even presented my form of payment. Then I guess the tip was not to his liking or high enough because he moved me to someone else's counter and quickly, unevenly put on the polish to my hands. Not even a nail dryer anywhere. He just left me sitting there. Then a lady comes to the counter and sprays my naiks with a mist and motions for me to get up. I left and when got outside to the light got a realistic point of slack. I went back in and asked them to remove the polish. They looked at me like I was nuts.I should of gotten them to redo it all but did not have time or patience. DO NOT WASTE your money!!! read more

Went in for a pedicure and when I wouldn't go with the $65 deluxe or the 20 additional for gel (doesn't work for my nails) I received one of the worst pedicures possible. The nail polish looked terrible - so much so my husband noticed right away. Will not be back. read more

Customer service was great but the quality of the work is awful! There is debris cured into my nails that may I also mention aren't even pained all of the way. When I asked for them to paint my nails all the way I was practically told no because "they knew what they were doing". If you're looking for quality nail tech work I would unfortunately not recommend Diva Nails. read more

I understand it is all about who you end up getting, but my service was awful. I was hesitant to give them another try due to my previous visit being unpleasant, but I had a gift certificate. I let the guy talk me into dip over gel because he assured me it was so much better; I am on day four and its already coming off at the cuticles. He totally messed up one of my nails and wasn't going to fix it until I repeatedly asked. My feet do not look like they received a $55 pedicure. I hope the salon trains ALL employees to be able to provide the proper services to its customers. I will not make the mistake of giving them a third chance. read more

Not Happy with my last set of nails. They fell off within (less) 3 weeks and technician took them off today. Then charged me for a brand new set that has never been filled in. I asked her before she started pilling them off if I was going to be charged for a new set or just the filling because they haven't been on long and have never been filled in yet! She never answered!! I did Complain That I was not happy when paying,.. they ignored my comment. I paid and left and will not be back. You don't treat regular customers like that. I had my nails done with dip and it only lasted 4 days before problems began. They began having " cracks" under the top coat, the chunks fell off-beginning with my right middle digit then both ring fingers. Very disappointed, especially since I was on vacation. Will not go back. During the visit the salon was clean, staff was friendly but the end result was just poorly done and was not worth the money. read more

I go here often and it's been great until today. It was AMAZING today!!! Jackie and her sister Carolyn are the best. Jackie gave me the BEST pedi I've ever had. Hands down. It was amazing. She took care of each toe with perfection and the massage was unbelievable. I didn't want it to be done! She then gave me a fantastic mani which could rival any. If I could give 0 stars I would. I went and had my nails done here 2 weeks ago yesterday. I got DIP done on my nails. I have had this done for a few years now at another place but this is a bit closer so I thought I would try them out. This was a HORRIBLE experience. The man who did my nails hurt my cuticles so bad and then the VERY NEXT DAY a nail broke and before I could get in there that weekend to get it fixed 3 more broke so by the time I got in there (3 days later) 4 nails had to be repaired. Now since then I have had 3 more nails break so in all in 2 weeks I have had 7 nails break in 2 weeks. I have NEVER had that happen. I can generally go nearly 3 weeks before having to even have to get my nails done again and none will have broken. For the price you pay (because this place is a bit pricier then others) you would think you would get better quality. The funny thing is, is that while I was there getting my nails done in the first place there was another lady there getting her nails repaired because they had broken a few days after getting them done as well. If you are looking for quality nails that LAST I DO NOT recommend them when there are so many other nail salons in this area that do much better work. read more
