They have always stayed at their vet until now so I was nervous about leaving them in a new place, especially the older one. They were VERY well taken care of and came home so happy, and with no upset tummies which always happened at the vet. The caretakers sent photos, answered my texts/calls, and just all around made the experience for the pups very comfortable and loved. I never felt like we were a burden or that they weren't wanted. We were welcomed from the first phone call inquiry about boarding and daycare. Petsuites is more than what we paid when they boarded at the vet BUT their rooms are larger, they get play time with other furry babies, more potty walks, and loved on by many caretakers. Thank you for taking care of our fur babies. They will be back!

My husband and I have trusted PetSuites with our puppy, Marie, several times over the past year,…read morewhich is why this most recent experience was so upsetting. In the past, we've always had great experiences here. We typically receive an end-of-stay report detailing how Marie did with eating, playtime, and overall behavior, along with photos from group play sessions. During longer stays, staff would also usually provide updates, which always gave us peace of mind. Unfortunately, this visit was completely different. The Issue: The only communication we received during Marie's stay was a call informing us that she had been injured by another dog. We were told she had a small mark behind her ear, but when we picked her up, she had multiple marks and scratches that appeared more significant than what had been described to us. To make matters worse, we never received the usual end-of-stay report. Customer Service: When I called afterward to ask about the missing report, the employee at the front desk, Brooklyn, was dismissive and unhelpful. She told me that because Marie had already been checked out, they could no longer send one. I then asked to speak with a manager and was told none were available. I had to specifically request that a note be left for the manager, Melissa, to call me back. When Melissa eventually returned my call, she unfortunately had no answers about what happened to Marie during her stay. What was most disappointing was the lack of empathy or concern regarding the situation and our experience overall. Overall: As returning customers, this experience was incredibly frustrating and disheartening. Communication, transparency, and accountability are extremely important when trusting someone with your pet, and unfortunately this visit left us feeling uncomfortable and unheard. Sadly, Marie will not be returning after this experience.

Since The decoy seminar, I have worked very closely with Tai and Lexi when it comes to obedience and bite work with dogs. I have seen clients walk out the front door with smiles on their faces with their dogs are also really well behaved because of the work that Lexi, Tai, and also their trainer Max does daily. A lot of people always talk about wanting to have more obedient dogs. This is the place to go.

First of all the price is great in my opinion. Their facility has plenty of play space and the livery room we got was large. We always want, maybe even need, to be able to check in on them. While on past stays we would look and find them pacing and awooing all night. Something about this place made them zen. They looked out the windows, climbed and snuggled in their bed. We signed up for both of them to get a bath before pick up but due to some error with their system only our little guy got his, which was sad because if we had to pick we would have picked her. For our two dogs it was $115 a day for the luxury suite. When we arrived to pick them up we expected our Dachshund to scream like he does when we come home and our Auggie to go crazy and we were so disappointed when they came up to us like okay cool, summer camp is over? Not one cry or bark, no jumping or crazy tail wags. Next time we hope to board them for training. Our dogs would have required 3 weeks and that just didn't work for us right now.

While we were on vacation, I frequently checked the facility cameras and never once saw Jack. When we arrived to pick him up, we were informed that on the first day of boarding, he had appeared nervous in the play yard and was attempting to get out. Based on that observation, Pet Paradise made the decision to remove him from day play for the remainder of his stay. The issue is that no one ever contacted us to discuss this decision or ask for our input. Knowing Jack, we believe he would have adjusted and been perfectly fine participating in day play. While Pet Paradise did remove the charge from our bill, the decision was made without our knowledge or consent, even though we paid for that service when we booked his stay. Additionally, we paid to have Jack groomed before pickup, including nail trimming. We were told that the service could not be completed because he "kept trying to jump off the table." We have had Jack groomed at several other facilities over the years and have never encountered this issue. If a facility does not have the proper equipment or restraints needed to safely complete basic grooming services, those services should not be offered. The nail trim that was performed was extremely sloppy. Some nails were clipped while others were left untouched. One of his dewclaws still had a large piece of nail hanging off it, and we later discovered he had a cracked nail that, according to our veterinarian, may extend close to the quick. Unfortunately, the concerns did not end there. When we brought Jack home, he was not acting like himself. He slept nearly all day, showed little interest in food, and seemed lethargic. We initially assumed he was simply adjusting after boarding, but his condition continued for several days and eventually progressed to diarrhea. After taking him to the veterinarian, we learned that Jack was significantly dehydrated and required fluids. He was also diagnosed with Giardia, a parasite that requires medication and treatment. To date, we have incurred $387 in veterinary expenses directly related to issues discovered immediately following his stay, and those costs may continue to increase. Given the lack of communication regarding major decisions about our dog's care, the poor grooming quality, and the serious health concerns that arose immediately after boarding, we are extremely disappointed with our experience. Pet Paradise came highly recommended, which makes this outcome even more frustrating. We entrusted Pet Paradise with our dog's well-being while we were away. Unfortunately, the experience left us feeling that important decisions were made without our involvement, services were not properly performed, and our dog returned home in significantly worse condition than when we dropped him off. We will not be returning.

I realized this when my 4 month Airedale puppy came inside smelling like wet dog and grass. I decided to check out Pawsmere Pet Retreat because I had heard good things about them! Luckily, we were able to do some digging and find out where they were. The staff was extremely friendly and actually very excited to see an Airedale because they aren't really native to this area. Usually with Airedales, they are meant to be groomed a specific way and in a specific pattern or else their hair will come out matted and unruly. Michelle, the owner knew EXACTLY what to do with him. The owner treated them like family. She keeps it small in the way of allowing roughly 3 dogs to board at one time. This allows the dogs to get adequate attention, exercise, and safety. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a more personal affordable boarding option for your dog or cat.

I have now left my puppy there several times and most of the time she was quite complimentary. There are, however, pluses and minuses, and sadly the minus of my last visit may keep me from coming back. First the positive things. The place appears very clean and well kept. You can view the play areas as well as the area where they walk the pets. They appeared to do an excellent job although I did notice one time the person walking the dog at the time looked as if they would rather be anywhere else but there. When you walk in, there is a front desk, which is somewhat understaffed for the crowd that comes in it about the same time every morning. It varies on how much time you will spend waiting for intake. Every member of the staff has been extremely friendly and the experience at the front desk can only be described as warm and welcoming. My dog is sociable and loved meeting new friends in the lobby. There is an array of merchandise for purchase. Prices are slightly higher than you would pay at some other places. At the desk, you also have the opportunity to give any instructions and leave food, toys, or anything else you would like your dog to have. I must say they are also good at making sure that whatever you leave you also get back at the end of the day or whenever you pick your furry friend up. After check-in, they pleasantly take your dog and the people that do have the personalities that make the dog excited to go off with them. Pick up as much the same with variable lines and taking varying times. Sometimes they give a report card, sometimes they do not. The report card will let you know how your dog interacted with others during playtime. They will also give you details about eating and other things. Yes, I know I've made it sound perfect. Problem was that the last time I arrived purposely leaving time for my pet to eat before playtime with clear instructions on feeding and a package of food for her to eat. Based on my prior visits, I was confident that she would do well. I purposely did not arrive too close to playtime for them to have time to feed her before bringing her to play. When I picked her up, they gave me a report that she ate most of her food and had her usual fun time. It was bot until I arrived back at my hotel that I found that the food I had brought was uneaten and in fact unopened. And when I put food out, she was absolutely starving and ate every drop immediately. I called as they are still open late, but the phone rang and I allowed it to ring for over an hour with nobody picking up. Red Flag 1. I sent an email and got a response by phone the next day telling me that because it was a holiday (it was actually July 3) they were very busy in the morning so started bringing the dogs to play earlier and did not have time to feed her. Suddenly, the picture did not look as bright. Red flag number 2. As they told me that she had eaten, now everything they tell me or right on the report card becomes suspect. While they told me they would pay more attention to her next time, making excuses does not take away the doubts left behind by the discrepancy between what they told me and what actually happened that day. I paid good money, literally around $90 for her to be cared for and to play for one day. I was willing to pay the high prices with the expectation of high-quality. I did not get that. Offering to do the job right next time hardly makes up for doing it wrong that time. Which is why I think I will be looking for other options in the future.

I knew the price was going to be expensive especially since it was happening the week of Thanksgiving. However, I did get a nice discount by showing them my teacher ID which saved me $100 on my total, so that was nice. The staff here seemed pretty nice. I had no issue with check in or dealing with the staff. They seemed knowledgable and friendly. The facility has cameras all over where you can tune in for free via their webcams and see what your dogs are up to when they are at play time. When we dropped them off on Thursday I saw them on the webcam outside hanging out with other dogs. I felt pretty good when I saw my dogs having fun with the other doggies. Unfortunately, this was the last time I ever saw them on the webcams. I was on a cruise from Friday till Monday. I bought the internet package on my cruise specifically so I could check in on my dogs to see how they were doing. I did not have a schedule for when my dogs would be outside for play time to check in on them. Therefore, it was all chance and luck. Well, either I was very unlucky or something fishy was going on. On Friday morning, I logged in at 6 AM and did not see my dogs outside, but did see other dogs outside with one of the handlers. Later on in the day, I checked in again around 10 AM and 11 AM--still did not see my dogs. I continued this process for the next several days at random times, (6, 7, 10, 11, 1, 3, 4, & 5 PM) and I still never saw any of my dogs on any of the webcams. I thought it was really strange though that I kept seeing the same batches of dogs other than my own. On Monday, I came to pick up my dogs. They looked and acted fine, but I still wonder to this day why I never had the chance to see them on webcam. It just left a weird feeling in my gut. On top of that, I only received one report card about how my dog did while I was gone. The responses to how my dog did felt very AI-generated and not personable. So at the end of the day I have no idea what happened with my dogs' stay at Pet Paradise. Hopefully they were treated well and got plenty of time to run around outside and socialize with other dogs because I never witnessed it besides day one.
