He was so loving, smart and just a sweet baby & had so much life still in him & he didn't look 12 years old or act like a senior dog. He passed on May 21,2026 exactly a month away from his 13 birthday. He passed from congestive heart failure. He was our sweet baby boy that we LOVED so very much and he left behind his Daddy, Mommy and sister Chloe who is a 14 year old Papillion. They loved each other so much too and they were partners in crime. Resting Rainbow took care of Sammie's remains and was so respectful too. When we went to pick him we walked in and their place was so nice and very clean too. They have all options for you fur baby. We asked where Sammie was cremated at and they showed us. They didn't hide anything from us. We chose a private cremation. And seeing it all put our minds at ease. The two gentlemen that work there were so kind too. You speak to the owners too and they go over everything with you. They are a married couple and so very kind and understood what we were going through. They understand due to they lost their baby and they knew how it felt. That's why they opened their own place. Thank you Resting Rainbow for all your kindness and understanding. Gave updates with pictures which was great. Very convenient. They worked well with my very nervous dog. Cons: Not the best communication in terms of updating when pickup was taking place. They give you an estimated time window for pickup and say they will contact you closer to the time window to give you a more specific pickup time. I had to call two different times and speak to 5-6 people on their after hours answering service in order to find out there was a 2-3 day delay on what was supposed to be the day of my pickup. I eventually was placed in contact with management and they were great. The delay itself is understandable, but it would have been ideal to have been given a heads up beforehand.
