I passed this alteration place a couple times and thought why not give it a chance since I didn't know if my previous alteration place was still open. They not only alter dresses here, but they sell tons of beautiful prom or ball gown dresses too. I wish I took photos of them. This location has more reviews on Google than Yelp, which is why I was hesitant on going but after seeing the good reviews on Google, I thought why not try them out! (I also wanted to stay local in the national city area). Parking can seem a little difficult since it's on the main street but it was easy to snag parking right in front of the store, or you can park in the lot by the furniture store. I forgot the names of those of helped me, but they were so nice and attentive with how short I wanted to cut my dress, and also helped me zip my dress up! They also had a spacious dressing room in the back for me to get changed in :) I paid a deposit (which was half of the total) and paid the remaining when I picked up my dress. Very reasonably priced and budget friendly. My dress was turned in October 4th and I believe was ready before a week even hit! The dress was seamed nicely and fit perfect for the wedding day! Her shop wasn't difficult to find and there was plenty of parking in front. On my first appointment, I wore my dress for her and she asked what I had envisioned. She also had a helper, measure and record everything. She had hemmed the length of my dress, created a bustle in the style I wanted, and also added long sleeves to my dress. We took our measurements, sent her inspiring photos, and paid for half of my bill. On our second appointment, she had me wear the dress and walk around to checked the length. She taught my maid of honor how to attach the bustle and how to help fluff the dress. She asked my maid of honor to record her, so on my wedding day, she can refer to the video. Olga's pricing is very reasonable and sensible. She is fully communicative with the entire process and timely! She ensures the safety of your dress, too. Her seams are beautiful, flawless, and matches the dress of your style. I highly, highly recommend coming to her shop!

I had shopped at a few different boutiques prior to coming to Brides of San Diego. At previous salons I felt those concerns magnify. But with Rosa I felt safe. She made my friends and I feel so incredibly special, and she just knew what would look good on me. She did a great job clamping the dress to fit me and just made me feel so good in my own skin. The dress is truly amazing, and in such a large part that's due to her. Fast forward a few months there was a hiccup in delivery, not at all the fault of Brides of SD, but I was so anxious. Lonnie, the owner, saved the day. Lonnie made sure I got my dress and on time. I made an appointment here the same day and walked in . ROSA was amazing I told her pricing I told her what I had the idea of what I liked on my body . She literally pulled ONE dress for me that I tried that on and it was everything I wanted right on the first try ! The dresses they receive are either from other bridal stores, sample sales, or on consignment, so the prices were super reasonable. I brought along two people and they were comfortably situated while I tried on dresses. I went through the racks and Trinity helped pill out the ones I was interested in, and then helped swap them out in the dressing room so that it wouldn't be too overwhelming. Free parking lot available and they do alterations too!

When it came time to get alterations for my wedding dress done, I was really stressed about finding the right place to go. I decided to use Winsome, and I am SO glad I did. Yilo executed the alterations flawlessly (bringing in the bust, adding tulle sleeves, and adding a bustle that caused the dress to drape beautifully). And I found the price to be very reasonable in comparison to other quotes I received. We're lucky to have this shop in San Diego!
