But its like they are forcing you to buy it by holding your money hostage. They won't even let you take photos of it. So it really doesn't help you decide. I have to say my first impression was over the phone. I'm searching for a dress my daughter sent me online. ( mother of bride dress) I was calling to see if the store had the dress and was told yes but since they are short handed I would have to pay $30. just to try on a dress. I thought for a moment I had misunderstood and asked her to repeat. I mentioned I have never heard of a place that charges for trying on dresses. She told me that it would go into the cost of my order. my response was " what if I did not find anything to my liking?" she said she has to charge. First off... ZERO STARS!!!! ZERO STARS!!! For being rude from the beginning of entrance to end leaving. I asked the lady ( who seems to be the "owner" if I can be able to look at some dresses and if this was by appointment or can be walk in? She asked me what dresses ? " I respond by asking if I can browse to see and that it's on Wednesday. I was down to the last day to find a dress for my Barrister Ball event, and everyone at Christina's was absolutely AMAZING!! I'm trying to blow these people on the map because their location is a little hidden, but let me tell you, if you need a dress right away and NOW, they are the place to go! There's better places to go. Pros: the place is clean, pretty dresses Cons: customer service sucks, prices are too expensive, long wait time. Today was my look for dresses day, I went to David's Bridal, Original and here (Christina's) When you walk in, the dresses on display are gorgeous so you feel excited to look. I asked if I could look around but they said you have to sign in on the waitlist because there's people in the dressing room. That's okay, they don't want it too crowded I get it. But I asked if I could just see if they have the color I am looking for before waiting for 45min. She told me yes, they definitely have those colors. An hour later, we get to come in. When we walk in, she says so we don't have much in that color so you can look and then you have to come back to try dresses on. Wait so I waited an hour just to see if they have the color dresses I am looking for but that's it. I look around, and nothing at all in the colors I was looking for (um that's why I specifically asked when i signed the waitlist) Prices were about $375 and up for a simple bridesmaid dress. There's no way!! The wedding stores had better selection, quality and prices. I'd say, it's really not worth the hype. The prettiest dresses are right at the front on display but when you get in the selection is slim, they are rude and the prices are all high, I'd say there are better stores. Don't waste your time. I rarely give low stars for any place so my review is pretty credible. Oh I also only got a couple pictures because they don't let you take pictures in the store. read more

Let's start off with if I could give this place zero stars I would! I had taken my niece to look for quinceañera dresses and the lady at the front had greeted a family so well and welcoming. After she finished talking to them my niece and I were just standing there until I went and told the lady at the front what I was looking for. She said well that's all we have over there and you have to make an appointment to try on a dress which is OK I get it. It's their policy. I was just asking for info. But then she was just standing behind us out of nowhere like if I'm gonna steal a big dress really?! and not at the other family. I was wearing flare leggings, slides, a T-shirt and a bun with a mask (because I work in healthcare and I don't want to get sick or get others sick). It was a really hot day and after working with patients all week, you just want to go home and put some comfortable clothes on and tie your hair back in a bun. But the way I dress doesn't justify what I can and cannot afford. It goes to show that they discriminate against you. Like lady I have a good job in La Jolla! When the lady was standing behind us, I told my niece "you know what I'm not feeling it anymore. This place is not for me. We're going somewhere else and taking our money somewhere else". And my niece said "mmmm yeah me neither". My sister went to try on prom dresses and there was a very nice girl who started helping, alexi, then as my sister was in the fitting room another girl, Angelica, began to help her but she was very rude and didn't let her try on a dress because she said my sister would stretch it and damage the fabric. She proceeded to not respond to my mom is spanish when she spoke spanish to another family she was helping. After that she yelled at my grandma saying that my sister was trying the dresses on incorrectly. She made my sister, mom, and grandma extremely uncomfortable and we had to leave. Their customer service is severely lacking. I came to find a gown for a wedding I'm attending and I was immediately met with hostile attitudes from each representative. They were condescending and abrasive. I asked if I could see a dress at the window and she said that it was couture and I would need an appointment and a deposit to try it on, so I asked how much the deposit was and she proceeded to tell me the dress was $2000 as if that would make me leave. So I asked again, and said that I'd like to try it on, but she said there were no appointments for the day even though it was empty. The young girl with blonde hair, Alexi, seemed like she didn't want to be there or answer my questions. Prevue Formal and Bridal has drastically better service. The fact that you have to pay $100 deposit just to look at their stock of dresses is ridiculous. The dresses should speak for themselves. I felt uncomfortable the entire time I was there, and it's their loss. I was looking for couture but would never buy from this establishment. Save your time. Nearly left in tears after a visit here. My sister and I drove from Temecula to find dresses for her 15th. We saw a sign at the door that said by appointment only, but decided to try anyways. A sales person walked us back and started helping my sister find a dress. She asked us what we were looking for. I told her what style and our budget which I immediately felt judged by. While we were looking at dresses she told us we could try on no more than 2 dresses each because she had an appointment at 4. That surprised me a bit as they have at least 4 fitting rooms, but decided to give them the benefit of the doubt thinking it could be a Covid policy. I am not a heavy person. I do however, like most women, have body image issues. When someone goes dress shopping it's because they intend to get dressed up and presumably will want to feel pretty. I told the associate that I wanted to try a dress on but the only one I saw on the rack was on a mannequin. She kind of hesitated and asked my size. I told her a 4 or 6. The dress on the mannequin was a 4. She told me she needed to grab a hanger for the dress so I continued looking. While I was perusing for a second dress toward the front of the store I overheard a conversation between coworkers about our interaction. I heard them discussing my dress size and how there was no way I could be a size 4 or even a 6 and literally laughing. I was ready to leave. I thought...What if that were to have happened to my 14 year old sister who IS heavy and EXTREMELY sensitive to negative comments about her body? She would have left in tears and obsessed over the experience for days. I went to find my sister so we could leave but she was in the dressing room trying something on. She came out in a stunning dress with a huge smile on her face. I couldn't tell her no, she was so excited and looked gorgeous. I held my tongue and we got the dress despite the unacceptable behavior of the staff. With all of that, the selection here is good and the woman who checked us out (who I believe was the owner) was very nice. Hello, I hope my experience could be beneficial to those that come across this store. I came in with my family to look at the dresses for a quince and we were astounded with how beautiful the dresses were! I grabbed a dress from the rack that was stunning and one of the ladies working there immediately rushed to my side to tell me that I was not allowed to try on any of the dresses and I would have to make an appointment to do so and that they would be closing at five which was 40 minutes away and to come back later. Quite frankly, I was a little stunned at the how rudely I was spoken to and though the dresses were beautiful, I felt embarrassed to even look at the options. Not only that, but we soon found out that we would have to pay 100 dollars per dress to try on. We ended up going to another location and it was such a stark contrast that put Christina's to shame. Although the selection was vast and they had gorgeous dresses, don't go in unless you plan on paying hundreds of dollars to try even a few on. Horrid experience!!!!! You think you going to buy a bridal dress or a prom dress. Forget about it. In that store- You get to be judged by a rude staff, that will comment on your social class, evaluate your ability to buy their dresses and if you don't pass their judgment oh.... they will tell you to get out, follow you everywhere in the store and will comment that you won't find anything. My daughter quickly found some dresses to try, but her friend was still looking, I sat in the middle on the bench and was waiting for them, first my daughter came slightly upset, the seller told her that the dress was not supposed to sit like that . Next, her friend came out crying and so upset, s explained that salesperson followed her everywhere and told her that she won't find any dresses and that she won't let her try on an, as the dresses are expensive. When I, an adult confronted them, the salesperson was so rude, deniEd everything, yelled back at me. I was looking for a dress to wear for my sons wedding. It's very overwhelming all the dresses are bunched up together in racks organized by color. Finally I see one I wanted to try on and the sales associate stated I had to leave a deposit to try it on because according to her it's the "couture" line. Now mind you all of the dresses in this store are replicas of other designers work mass produced in China, so I don't understand how they think it's couture . I didn't have a problem with the deposit until they said that it's non refundable you can only apply it to any other purchase in case you don't like what you try on! None refundable deposit to try on a dress!! And they only give you 40 min in the store. NEEDLESS TO SAY I don't recommend going to this store, not well organized mediocre service and the non refundable deposit are a hard pass for me! I will be driving up the freeway to LA to find a dress. read more
