I had a gel pedicure and a manicure with no polish and was in and out in less than 50 minutes. They did an OK job, just felt VERY basic and rushed. If you are looking for a decent scrub and rub in the pedicure this is not the place. If you want a $75 BASIC AND QUICK mani/pedi then by all means go. read more

I absolutely love beautiful nails. Johnny + T.T. took over a little over a year now I believe. They have made many new updates. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a wonderful experience every single time![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I go every 3 weeks for a mani & pedi. T.T. does my nails for the most part. She gives the best pedicures EVER! She gives you the best foot and calf massage of your life!! This is while you're sitting in a massage chair. [[HIGHLIGHT]]She's is the sweetest person as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Johnny always offers bottled water or a soda. There is another lady that works there as well. Her name escapes me at the moment. Poor quality, rude owner, didn't get the job done (had to come home and finish what they did didn't do and clean up their mess!). Owner told me I was giving them a hard time because I was asking them to remove the calluses completely, which they wouldn't do, claiming the state will allow them to remove just so much. When I was there last October, they had no problem with it. Did the laws change since 9 months ago? $35 for the worst pedicure and less-than-peaceful experience I have ever had in a nail salon. I have never experienced people being this blatantly rude. I came here to get my nails done before my wedding, and both technicians (woman and her husband), made me feel awful. I was trying to small talk/be friendly and all I got back in return was a short, rude tone. I asked her to make the tip on my French manicure shorter and she was just so extremely rude. Please save yourself, read the other reviews and don't go here. Also see how they were going to let me leave with my toes (supposed to be pink), I had them paint them white. I went in January of 2023. I should have walked straight out as soon as I went in. The location and building was sketchy to me. The man there seemed really irritated that I wanted to do a walk-in despite there only being one customer in there and 2 workers. I had my gel removed and put on in fifteen minutes. He drilled my nails pretty deeply, got polish all over the sides, and when I went to another salon to get it fixed, I was informed he had used an acrylic product during my manicure. Unless you want to be in a nail salon horror movie, stay away from this place. read more

Not great. Kind of messy dip manicure. In a pinch I would go back but as a last resort. Employees were very friendly

I wish I would have known about them a long time ago! Yes, they aren't very talkative, but they are true artists. My friends feet were in really rough shape. Calluses and thick toenails, the person working on them went right to work. When she was done, what a transformation. She usually sees a podiatrist, beautiful nails did a better job then the podiatrist. The gentleman working on my feet went right to work, and was done within 30 min and this includes painting my toes. I watch I believe it was the owner work on another woman's nails. They were so beautiful, I couldn't believe it was the dipping powder. This will be my go to place to have my nails done. THANK YOU, Beautiful Nails. read more

I was visiting from San Diego & wanted to take my 7yo niece for her first mani/pedi. I'm so glad I found Beautiful Nails! They were so wonderful and patient with my niece & she was beaming ear to ear the whole time. The owner helped her with fun color choices & cute designs on her nails. My pedicure was fantastic. We both left extremely happy. I would recommend making an appointment though they do take walk ins. And cash only. Next time I'm in Bangor I'll be back! When I went into the shop with my grandmother, the women who now owns the shop was very short with the both of us. Her tone was very demanding and she had a mean attitude towards my grandmother. When we asked her questions, she ignored us or made us feel like we were taking too much of her time. My grandmother was more comfortable with another nail technician who was there and she was not happy that we chose to go with the lady that we have trusted for years. Within the shop it felt like everyone was on edge and even the other nail technicians seemed uncomfortable around her. To the other customers she was not warm or inviting towards them and she completely ignored my grandmother and I which ruined our enjoyment of getting our nails done. read more

I went to this salon while I was in town for work and was very disappointed because my dip manicure chipped after four days. If I get a manicure from my go-to salon at home, I have absolutely no chipping for four weeks on average. I showed up one hour before closing and was shooed out the door as the manicurist was finishing up with me. Also, my old dip polish (dark red) that remained on my nail was showing through my neutral colored polish that I chose this time around and the manicurist seemed annoyed when I asked for another coat. The salon was beautiful, but I will not return to this salon if I need a dip polish next time I'm in town. read more

I was visiting Bangor for a few months and was very pleased when I came across Beautiful Nails. What a wonderfully pleasant couple who took amazing care of me while I was in town between pedicures, toe polish changes, and gel balances for my nails. They were always very professional and the place was very clean and had a good variety of colors to choose from. The prices was very good and my nails always held up well between appointments. If I'm ever back in Bangor, this is the place I'd return to for all my nail needs! read more

I took my mother and two girls there today and had a lovely time. It was our first time doing anything like that together and it was so special. I wouldn't normally take my 6-year old to get her nails done, but she did really well and loved the water jets on her feet. I don't think my mom had felt that pampered in a long time.
