There were some extenuating circumstances that almost cancelled the entire trip, but Paul was willing to work with me to make the trip happen. Once I met him in person, the same professionalism was displayed for the entire duration of our trip. The charter bus was nice and clean with a bathroom. We brought DVDs to watch. At all times we felt completely safe traveling. I can't recommend Patriot Coach Lines enough for your chartered transportation needs. Sadly, my manager decided we should go cheap and so I didn't accept their quote, went with another company on the cheap option - what a mistake! The cheap company canceled on me four hours before departure time! (I posted a review on them also, believe me!) Scrambling for alternatives, I called almost every rental car service to find that almost no vehicles were available in Atlanta. Bus and transport services were booked up. In a panic, I reached out to Georgia Coach Lines to see if their quote was still valid and if they could rescue us. The lady who answered the phone was EXTREMELY helpful and upon hearing my panic and desperate plea, she leapt into action. She said 'let me make a few phone calls and I will call you right back!' Meanwhile I was still calling other services, to no avail... Within ten minutes she called me back and said she had a driver ready, and they could do it! This company managed to get a bus to the Atlanta airport to pick up a football team on just over an hour's notice... all of this happened while the team was in the air, so they didn't even have to wait or worry. He drove from Georgia to meet us at the NSY Louis Armstrong Airport and was on time, courteous, and professional. He had his 4-year old grandson, Kai with him and he was absolutely adorable, talkative, and funny! He even had his on toy steering wheel, and was practicing his driving skills so he could one day takeover over the family business! Anyhow, I truly appreciated the services Mr. Puckett provided and how he manuvered his way around those narrow streets of downtown New Orleans. We grooved to great music and enjoyed some delicious and amazing cuisine at Lil' Dizzy's, Creole House, Headquarters at NGN, Deanies, Dragos, and Acme's Seafood. While there, our group visited two colleges, Loyola University and Tulane University, and experienced the Queen Creole Historic Tour, Bayou Swamp Tour, Hop on and Off Tour of the French Quarters, World War II Museum, and Mardi Gras World. I made a reservation with AutoMax for a family trip to Yellowstone that we had been planning for…read moretwo years. I clearly communicated our destination when requesting a quote online, as well as in person when I went to see the vehicle in person. My quote included "unlimited mileage" (see attachment) and the reservation summary that I signed also included a $0 charge for mileage (see attachment). As I mentioned, I also talked to one of AutoMax's employees in person and told her our trip was to Yellowstone. However, a week before our trip, when I called to confirm the reservation, I was told they do not offer unlimited mileage to my destination. I brought up the quote, reservation summary, and discussions with the employee but AutoMax would not honor their agreement. Any reputable business would have accepted responsibility and tried to fix the problem, however, AutoMax showed no willingness to rectify the situation. Their poor communication, mediocre customer service, and unprofessionalism almost cost our family a once-in-a-lifetime trip. Had I not called to confirm, I would have been charged close to $2,000 in extra charges upon return. I understand people make mistakes, but I also believe a business should do what's necessary to fix an issue that they have caused. If you use AutoMax, get everything in writing and confirm your agreement early and often.
