SPOILER: Good Review! I don't usually write reviews but I thought this place deserved it. I called to set up an appointment. The owner of the establishment. First ring... Nothing... Second ring.... Third ring ... BINGO. Wait, wait , wait. Let me back up. First I sent a text. He responded. This went back and forth for about an hour then I called. We discussed price. The price is reasonable for the quality of work. He is a little higher priced but he is a higher quality artist. I am in the film industry and a friend of mine suggested him to me. But he is affordable, just not the cheapest in town. You can find lower I am sure but I doubt if you can find better for a lower price. Set up the appointment for a weekend after I was quoted a price. Put up a reasonable deposit and it was on. The day comes and I pull into an attractive renovated textile type factory from the 1800's. really cool. There are several small shop /suites around like flower shops, barbers, painters, hairstylist and that type of goings on. Very artistically vibed up. A place you want to bring friends with. They can hang outside and chill at the on site cafe place near by or just chill on the lawn and people watch. I looked for his suite. Didn't see it. Asked directions from a well dressed dude but he waved me off as he was in deep conversation on the phone about some girl. Something about "She could have just told me right....?" and that type of talk. Two guys dressed in theater attire pointed me in the correct direction. "Thanks bro." says I. I turn the knob to the building..... The door is locked. I call him. Inside the tattoo lair. Cozy, lacking a touch of style, but quaint with a homey feel. Netflex is playing. (You can pick your own movie!) We talk about the tat for a view moments. He prepares. Then we begin. He has a nice touch. Not nearly as painful as some other tattoo artists. I only have about 10 body arts, so I am by no means an expert but I was grateful. During the process we talked about life, movies and current events. I found him to be an extremely engaging young man. I like to call this type an Urban gentlemen. Very cool with a smooth does of humility. The tat took a bit longer than your average piece. He seems to be the perfectionist type and is going to give you his 100% best. So it is worth the wait. The tattoo came out fantastic! I am really impressed with it. Is process in clean. He constantly cleans as he goes. Changes gloves and is mindful of when you need a break. So let me recap in case I missed something. I Don't want to bash this guy Divine, he was cool. But I didn't like the tattoo he gave me. He did give me a partial refund. So I ain't got nothing bad to say about him. But looking at his previous work,I feel like he could've done a lot better on this piece. I was going to pay him $1000 dollars for this piece when completed. Paid $500 and was refunded $250. Was supposed to come back and get it finished. But when I took a better look at it I said hell no. When i mentioned this to him he said it's because it's not shaded yet. But it's not hard to see the tattoo is messed up regardless of the shading. The left side is pretty sloppy. And the branches all over don't look like the stencil that he was tracing. Looks nothing like the picture. I'm not sure how it came out the way it did. I now have to find another artist to fix and complete this huge tattoo. One highly rated tattoo shop turned me down after seeing the tattoo. Said, none of their artists felt they could fix it. I'll have to figure out what to do. Plus I'm down $250 for this. I wouldn't necessarily say Divine is a bad artist, but this wasn't some of his best work. Other than this bad tattoo he was a good dude. Just wanted to share my honest opinion. Blessings. read more

We highly recommend choosing Divine Art Trap Ink for your next piercing needs!! I am in ATL for my honeymoon and my wife has always wanted her nose pierced. So, I went on a hunt and ran across Divine Art Trap Ink! I'm very glad that I did. From beginning to end Trap was very professional and quick to respond. I let him know that my wife was very nervous but excited. He ensured me of his sanitary process that would put my wife's mind at ease. He indeed delivered. He made sure that we arrived at his studio by giving us a call and specific directions to the shop. He was very personable and friendly. He did exactly what he said he'd do: he wore gloves, sterilized everything, and walked us through each step of the way. He even gave her 3 options of where she could get pierced on her nose! I got mine too!! It was quick & the numbing foam made it virtually painless! It was a great experience! 10/10! If you're looking for a low key but talented artist, look no further. Divine is it! We called after our original artist cancelled and he had same day availability. It's a little hard to navigate the lot so he came down to walk us up. Divine was amazing! He's a libra, was patient, and was very professional. He had all the proper equipment, was clean, efficient & about his business. He's really easy going so he made me and my sister feel very comfortable, and was clearly very knowledgeable /passionate about his art and tattooing. The tattoos came out amazing! He was so gracious about the way we wanted it to look, offering to change it and giving his thoughts to ensure we got the piece and placement exactly. Me and my friend came in to get our nose pierced last night...first thing when we notice walking in is the atmosphere, it was very chill and laid back, the shop itself is laid out nicely & had great artwork and posters on the walls. the 2 guys working that night were so friendly. & what really made the experience great was when my friend was having anxiety about getting the piercing and she brought that to their attention, the guy that pierced us was an excellent communicator and took his time explaining the process and care for afterwards. For me, the piercing itself was super fast & painless. After we were all done, everyone was just telling stories and laughing up a little. 10/10 would recommend, me & my friend both plan on coming back :) read more

Josh did a great job with my nose piercing. He responded to a call for an appointment immediately and scheduled it for the same day. He directed us to his building, and personally walked us to his suite. The shop was clean and well organized. While the walk up to the suite had me skeptical, I was super comfortable once we got in. I really appreciate how important cleanliness is to him, without him having to say it. I also appreciate that he used numbing spray and ensured the position of the ring was where I wanted it. Awesome experience to say the least. I have a million and one tattoos and hands down this was the best artist. His vibe was cool and his energy was dope. While celebrating my sister's birthday she randomly wanted to go and get a tattoo late night! I called he answered, took us with no problem. THIS WAS HER FIRST TATTOO!! He was very supportive and easygoing with her. He sprayed, cleaned, and follow all the necessary steps to ensure cleanliness was top priority. We all laughed and had a good time. GREAT EXPERIENCE FOR MY FIRST PIERCING!! I got a nostril piercing and it was real quick. It is cold tho so wear somethin warm. I was shivering, but didn't even care since i was so excited. Didn't hurt as much, and he gave me a choice as to where exactly i wanted the nostril piercing. Trap was superrrrrr nice and very patient. I knew once he picked up the phone and started talking that i'd be comfortable and welcomed in the spot. I went to trap for my Medusa piercing and it hurt like hell because of all the nerve endings there but he was very careful and walked me through the process. We redid the placement about three different times because I was shaky and he never got annoyed. He has genuine passion for what he does and wants you to be proud of what's on your body every time. This is my third piercing by him (nostril and belly button came first) and I keep coming back, so if you're looking for a piercer just pick him already ;) read more

Super dope, small yet personal studio. Art trap is super cool and laid back and made the process of me getting my pinky covered up and I needed my thigh touched up too and he only charged me 20 bucks extra which is super dope because some artists wouldn't even do that. Trap was amazing! My friends and I made a spontaneous decision to get piercings. He was extremely prompt with his response and was able to accommodate us within the hour. WOW! great experience . Me and my friend came here to get our 3rd and 4th holes done along with our cartilage. He fit us in right away late at night. The place was hard to find but he walked us through all of the directions perfectly while on the phone. Same day appointments. Very friendly and creative guy. This was my first body piercing aside from my ears but Divine made it quick and painless. Divine was a complete professional and made me feel at ease with the entire process. The studio is in a really cool renovated factory type building. I definitely recommend walking around the space if you have time. He pierced my nose on both sides as well as doing a vertical labret piercing. I LOVE how they came out.
