Whenever something came up, it was handled quickly and professionally. Early in my tenancy, I noticed mold in the refrigerator's water dispenser, and they replaced the refrigerator almost immediately. When the old stove and cooktop stopped working properly, they replaced the full range with a brand-new, very nice appliance. When the water heater broke a few months later, that was also replaced practically right away. The maintenance staff were always kind, helpful, thorough, and respectful. I never felt like I had to chase anyone down or fight to get a necessary repair completed. One of the best examples of their reliability happened during a major snowstorm. The roads were barely passable, but I woke up one morning to find that my driveway was the only one in the neighborhood that had been plowed. My neighbors were genuinely asking how RentProv had managed to get it done. I eventually purchased the house I was renting, and they continued maintaining the property and responding to issues through my final days as a tenant. They never started doing the bare minimum just because I was about to close. Shannon, in particular, was wonderful--professional, thoughtful, organized, and genuinely invested in making sure everything was handled well. They then tried to evict us, even though the owner told us it was okay since the police made it clear it was all on the level. I should also include some pertinents: no one else lived in the building except my mother who rented the floor below us. there are only two units. literally no one complained. also, when they couldn't get in touch with me because it was Friday night at 9pm, they began harassing my elderly mother (who again, rents a separate apartment and has nothing to do with my LEGAL medical marijuana. Lawyered up and they backed down like the unprofessional losers they are. we broke our lease early to get away from these incompetent morons. do yourself a favor, avoid at all costs. the lawyer was provided to me by a veterans organization free of charge. he looked into Brian Weinstein at rent prov and apparently he is WELL known in the legal community as a royal POS.

To make matters worse, getting your security deposit back can be a challenge. I felt like my concerns were ignored throughout my tenancy, and there was very little genuine care for the people living in their properties. Save yourself the time, stress, and money and look elsewhere. Unfortunately, my experience with Strive Realty was incredibly disappointing.

We continued to visit the property, on three separate occasions, took measurements, and began planning for our new home. Jillian was away at one point, and we spoke with her coworker, assuring him that we wanted this property, too. After not hearing from Jillian for 8 days, we reached back out to confirm our impending sale - and intent to sign a lease within the next couple of days. Jillian coldly let us know that the property had actually been rented to someone else. Despite our agreement to inform us that another renter was interested, instead of calling - as we agreed- Jillian just rented it! I spoke with her in person, and asked why she would go back on her word. Why my deposit meant nothing - not even the ability to have a phone call. I told her that I felt like the rug had been ripped right under us. Jillian, calmly said that this is how she conducts her business. That she had sent an email two days prior asking if we would pay $50 more a month. I told her no such email had been received, and that people who are interested in properties will always respond to their agents. I told her we were going to sign the lease if anyone else even thought about renting it. There had been no doubt in our minds. Come to find out - Jillian sent the email - to an incorrect email address. I found this out through the manager, Ed hardy, who read the email to me. In it was no mention of another renter - and the closing even said "I will call you if someone else rents!" Obviously she never intended to call, nor follow up- and as I said earlier- we didn't even get this email because the address was misspelled. She handed me back my useless deposit check. Jillian said that she was sorry - because this must be "a big pain in the ass." Yes Jillian - it is. And now, it's yours. Never, ever, ever ever work with this wretchedly cold, and useless woman.
