    I would leave zero stars but it isn't an option. avoid at all costs…read more they don't take care of the property, everything you need done will be done late and bare minimum. the "property cleanup crew" they sent was literally an elderly man and his two adult children. they showed up in a rented box truck with one shovel. they then stole MY shovel, and the yard was not cleaned up. bricks strewn about, poison ivy, it was pathetic. I'm a combat veteran with ptsd. I have a medical marijuana card and grow my own medicine. the owner of the building I was renting was fine with it, as it was completely legal. Rent Prov called the police on us, who showed up and told them that I wasn't breaking any laws. They then tried to evict us, even though the owner told us it was okay since the police made it clear it was all on the level. I should also include some pertinents: no one else lived in the building except my mother who rented the floor below us. there are only two units. literally no one complained. also, when they couldn't get in touch with me because it was Friday night at 9pm, they began harassing my elderly mother (who again, rents a separate apartment and has nothing to do with my LEGAL medical marijuana. Lawyered up and they backed down like the unprofessional losers they are. we broke our lease early to get away from these incompetent morons. do yourself a favor, avoid at all costs. the lawyer was provided to me by a veterans organization free of charge. he looked into Brian Weinstein at rent prov and apparently he is WELL known in the legal community as a royal POS.

Make sure all your bills make sense, and keep with your periphery. Renter's market is nothing to play with in today's world, making you want to settle for a "fair experience". I would have given 1 star and a much worse review if the end process had been escalated. Communication is off-set by the strong need to stay afloat, and if there's an opportunity for them to win, they will. The bane of renting regardless where you go, just personally it did not fit my needs.

    Complaint Letter About Ongoing Illegal Parking at 38 Fountain St…read moreTo Whom It May Concern at Stonelink Property Management, I am writing once again to report the ongoing issue of illegal parking at 38 Fountain Street, Woonsocket, RI 02895. I have contacted your office multiple times and have even spoken directly with staff about this problem, yet nothing has been done to address it. There is a large posted sign at the back of the parking lot clearly stating that unauthorized vehicles will be towed. Despite this, the rules are not being enforced. At this time, a Toyota Camry with license plate 2AJ 650 continues to park here illegally. The driver does not live at this property and is occupying a space that belongs to a resident. This situation is extremely frustrating. When management fails to enforce parking rules, it sends the message that anyone can park here, even if they have no connection to the building. Residents who pay rent and rely on their assigned parking spaces are being disrespected and inconvenienced. I am requesting that Stonelink take immediate action to enforce the posted parking policy. This includes issuing warnings, documenting violations, and towing unauthorized vehicles when necessary. The sign is meaningless if the rules are not upheld.     Omg. Where to begin? From weekends without water to screwing…read moreover United Way to not even having the deed to the property they're charging rent for, these people are awful. I had trouble paying my rent. I went to the United Way for help. I told them I needed help with December, January and February rent. I found out they told United Way I haven't paid rent since August, and that my rent is $1200 a month. It's only $800. Scammers.

    Now that I've moved and have gotten far far away from this company, I'd like to share my experience…read morewith them. I lived in my apartment for a couple years. My landlord passed and his business partner decided to sell the house, I'm assuming because she is elderly and couldn't keep up with the property any longer. The moment this company bought our house, my life was changed. They removed our washer and dryer for no apparent reason. One day I came home to them throwing all of our belongings stored in the basement away with no notice or warning because it is "illegal" to store things in the basement, I went weeks without heat and hot water in the dead of winter and they quite literally refused to compensate me. I had to shower at friends and family members home daily for several weeks. They provided a small space heater and it made my electric bill sky rocket. They "lost" my deposit and required me to pay them another deposit. The agreement Jeff and I made (add $50 to the rent monthly until it reaches $1000) after I reached the $1000 I assumed my rent would go back down & they had zero recollection of the agreement. So not only was I paying an extra $50 per month in rent, but they were also telling me I didn't have a deposit on file. I clearly wouldn't have been able to move in if I didn't pay a deposit. I had strange men that "work" for them show up at all hours of the day and night with no way to enter the home & when I refused to let them in because I was given no warning, an employee showed up at my door and screamed at me and threatened to evict me. I'd never let a man that doesn't know the company's name in an unmarked white van into my home while I'm there alone. I quite literally NEVER had an accurate lease and had to chase them for months and months to get it updated. Wether it was my deposit, rent amount, my cat being present in the home, my utilities being included, they always made sure to get something wrong in writing that would essentially benefit them and screw me over. My utilities were connected to the building and outdoor lights so my utilities were always included in my rent. I came home from work one day to no electric in the middle of summer. My food went bad. My insulin that needed refrigeration went bad. No warning, apology, or change in rent after getting them in my own name and continuing to pay the outdoor lights for the other tenants. Even their own handy men and plumber talked negatively about their integrity. I decided to break my lease and moved out. If living under them, I recommend keeping EVERY conversation in email so you have proof. Jeff is such a bully and thinks he is above the law. Horrible, horrible people. He also has a Tik Tok account where he does nothing but bash his tenants. Please stay far away from these inhumane animals.
