I went in asking to have my builder gel removed so that I could have natural nails as a break until my next set of acrylics. The tech ground my nails down so thin and lumpy-and then tried to cover it with three thick coats of gel polish. The next morning two nails were already broken nearly off and when I went in to get them fixed I was charged an additional $15! I'll never step foot in there again. I was cut twice, on each foot, lots of blood, because they accepted me as a walk in & left me soaking for over 28 minutes that made my skin way too soft. I went to Urgent Care & was given topical & oral antibiotics! The tech cut my toenails at a 45° angle, very crooked & when I asked to trim my nails straight, I was told, no one wants to work with you. REALLY??? Not the best I've been too. I came in for a dip manicure and a gel pedicure. I also brought my two daughters to get just their nails painted. The lady helping us put my girls in the little kid pedicure chairs that looked like a princess throne. I obviously couldn't say no to them getting a pedicure haha but it was $30 each just for the pedicure and the nail polish didn't even last a day which was upsetting because I take them often to get their nails painted and it last a few weeks. If I did go back I wouldn't pay the $30 for the kids to get their toes painted. read more

Doesn't offer refunds because it's "company policy." Neither me nor my friends will ever come back. There's no reason I have to spend 2 hours a day, two days in a row trying to get what I want. Was offered a fix for free and was charged $35. $10 for acrylics (because they ruined my real nails) and $25 for chrome polish (25?!?! I pay 5-10 at any other salon.) Terrible unprofessional service. I went in for acrylic nail removal and gel manicure. I was there for 2+ hours and they had only removed my nails because they were so busy and understaffed. They kept rotating around instead of telling people ahead that they'd have to wait so long. Then towards the end there were people coming in for fills and leaving before I did! The WORST part is that the girl who seemed new or in training filed my natural nail down SO thin that they are red and weak. I called and talked to manager Chi Chi who took no responsibility and basically said it was my fault, that this happens with acrylics. Refused to refund me. I have NEVER experienced such neglect and unsafe practices. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau to file a complaint. read more

Underwhelming is the kindest way of describing this spa. My friend and I spontaneously decided to get pedicures and looked for something local, deciding on Divine Nail Spa. We felt quite rushed even though there were more employees sitting around than customers. This perhaps should have been our first clue. There was a sign on the counter that was not pointed out to us, I just happened to notice. It read cash only on Sundays. For our convenience, there was an ATM in the waiting area that charges $2. The service was mediocre; I can neither rave not complain. The best part was seeing the technicians open sealed bags containing sanitized tools for each customer. This was good because the containers on the tables were dirty and gooey. The air vent looks as if it hadn't been cleaned in years and the drying station was just as dusty as the top of the curtain rods and other forgotten surfaces. So I've been to a lot of salons. This one is sanitary and they will do a good job. It is a little pricey if you're getting a lot of designs and gel polish. But it is worth it. They take appointments and take their time when you make an appointment rather than walk in for something specific besides just color. Either way they do good all around. I had heard so many good compliments about this establishment. I decided to go there for a good friend's birthday- a girls day. I spent a lot of money on my first visit there. Everything seemed normal at first. The lady that did my pedi/mani did a wonderful job on my feet. However, she was busy doing other tasks while tending to me. I do understand multitasking but, when it slows the process it's not good, especially when the customer is spending good money. She was cleaning up and collecting slippers It was really annoying because the others in my party's techs had their full attention. The others were finished and heading over to get their nails done up while i'm sitting there waiting for her to finish up her other tasks that she just couldn't tear herself from. Also, it's rude and to make fun of what comes off someones feet while using the grater, i wasn't at all embarrassed but, i know she's seen worst. Plus, that's unprofessional on her part. I mean thats your profession if it wasn't for that, there would be no nail shop/job. Now, i found it weird that my friends all got slippers while they headed over to get their nails done. When it was my turn, this lady picked up my sneakers and asked me to walk over to the nail station. I looked around looking for slippers and saw that she wanted me to walk on the nasty germ filled floor barefoot like i was some animal. I asked if she had slippers but for me, it was NO. I ended up putting my socks and sneakers on. I hate to say it but it is what it is, I felt discriminated against. she made me feel uncomfortable. If someone is spending money, they should be giving everyone the same treatment regardless of whatever biases. When it came to my gel manicure, she kept messing up and starting over. Then she went from slowly taking care of me to rushing me and wouldn't put my nails back under the dryer for the last time. She rushed me off. Because of that last minute rushing, I believe thats why my nails didn't last a week before they started cracking and peeling. I really wanted to have the same experience that everyone else raved about , but I didn't and wasn't my fault. It's my truth. I wanted my techs full attention minus running to do other tasks, not to be shamed for the foot grater, a pair of slippers to show off my pedi like the other customers, to feel comfortable, nails that were carefully and patiently done, a manicure that lasted longer than a week. From the moment the tech Sat down I should have known he wasn't going to do a good job. My cousin who had Shaila because she is her regular, received a thorough pedi with a regular polish. Her tech even had recommendations for polish that would work for her. My tech...gave me a fast half ass pedi, left with one coat, bubbles in my polish and uneven nails. Didn't realize that he didn't even use a top coat until I left. Maybe if he didn't talk so much during the pedi it would have been better. The staff were all very friendly and seemed to be in a good mood. Two women started the process of removing my previous dip manicure. A third came over to finish and do another basic manicure. She was super friendly and kept asking if everything looked good and if she needed to change anything which I liked. My manicure came out great too! The reason I gave them three stars is because when I walked in, I asked how much it would be to remove the dip and have a basic manicure and the gentlemen said "$5 to remove and $17 for manicure, so $22." Then when the woman was done, she said it was $27. We went back and forth briefly but it wasn't worth arguing. I've been getting my nails done (acrylics) for over 4 years now and have never had an experience like this. The nail tech made minor mistakes from the start that I let slide (getting nail glue all over and having to pull our fingers apart, cutting my thumbs shorter than the rest) but then he filed my nails so aggressively that 3 of my fingers started to bleed. After the first finger bled I asked him to be more gentle but he apparently didn't understand until the 3rd one bled. I was still charged $35 and stupidly tipped him $7 because at least my nails look okay. It's only been two days since I got my fresh new set and my hair is already getting caught underneath my nails... Please learn from my mistakes! Went for a gel manicure & gel pedicure on Saturday, they only did one coat of the actual color. When I asked to do another coat of the color their response was that "they do multiple clear coats" it's Monday and 2 of my nails and chipped off.
