Was instantly reminded of why I left this place years ago and decided to never return again when I showed up for my scheduled pedicure appointment only to leave 2++ hours after and $65 broker. Why was I charged $15 for polish removal when I only had regular polish on that took no more than 20 seconds to wipe off. When I went to pay she said they charge 3 % on card payments. It's 2025 why is that a thing?? Don't even get me started on the lady who serviced me trying to coerce me into getting my nails and eyebrows also done as well. From my personal experience, I like coming to One Nail Spa. They allow online appts which is always helpful, so you don't need to call. Also, you can purchase your own nail kit for only $2, and bring it back with you. I stick to gel manicures and pedicures so I can't judge on anything else but I've always had a great experience. This was my first and last time with this nail salon. My nails were so bad I went somewhere else to have them removed. I'm even wondering whether this person was licensed. He hit my cuticles multiple times, the nails were bumpy and spilling over into the sides of my fingers. He even filed right into my skin, cutting deep enough to make me bleed! Based on other reviews, I think it's really hit or miss whether the technician is good or not. Honestly I'm a pretty easy going and forgiving client. I don't like to complain but this is just awful. I had an appointment with Katie. I get there 15 minutes early and she tells me she doesn't have time for me. So Kim did my nails.... They're terrible and chipped within 2 hours. I called and asked for a refund. Katie said no because a service was done. Um what service? This is a DISservice. Asked me to come back and Kim would fix them. I hate when this happens because if they can't do it right the first time why waste more of my time to "fix it". Katie said she couldn't see me because she had an emergency I said "you were sitting there doing someone else's nails" looking at photos of houses LIE. They were closing so I asked the owner if I could just come back the next day for it to be fixed since there would be more time. I am from Niagara County but due to Military I've moved away but every 4-6m I go "home" and visit and get my Spa on. Its ritual I go to The One Nail Spa. They all know me and greet me as if I never left even though it's been months since they have seen me last. They have seen me through my pregnancies and with my hands full with my boys at the Spa. I accidentally stumbled upon this salon while in Niagara Falls, and I'm so glad I decided to walk in! I was looking to get a full set of acrylics. I wanted an ombré style, and every other salon I went to didn't offer it, or it wasn't what I wanted. This salon had the ombré that I wanted, though! It cost $50 for a full set, which I think is pretty reasonable. They lasted 3 weeks before I needed to get a fill, which is rare for me! I work in the medical field, so I can't wear acrylics at my job. I would've gotten a fill if I was able to, but I was going back to work, so I had to get rid of the acrylics. I asked the nail tech what she recommended for weak, brittle nails and she recommended "dip." (I'm sure there's probably a different name for it, but she just referred to it as dip.) I've never heard of it before, but it's a better alternative to gel, because the dip doesn't require UV light. I can't comment on how long the dip lasted for me, as I have only had my nails done with the dip for one day, but I have received so many compliments from others! I absolutely love the customer service I've had from this salon!! All of the girls here are super friendly! This is my new go - to salon, I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to get a manicure done! read more

Horrible customer service. They used to be very good and attentive. No one smiles and owner argued with me after a dip/gel would not come off. I was ignored by the owner; pushed around to other techs as she told me she had "other clients!" I thought I was a client!?! This after I had a pedicure. And, After she tried to help me; decided not to without telling me, and then ignored finishing the rest of my nail treatment. No communication. Nothing. treated me like i was the problem. My granddaughter had two different people doing her pedicure and my daughter and myself were done with our services and they had not started my granddaughter's manicure. I am giving this salon three stars only because I really haven't used it yet. I did come in at 5 PM to try to get my nail fixed but it clearly says on the front door that walk-ins are done by availability. They told me that the next available appointment would be until 6:15 pm and they close at 7 PM. The inside overall did look very nice but they were very busy for Thursday. read more

This is the first nail salon I've been to that gave me exactly what I wanted. A lot of times I'd go in to other places to get my nails done, and would leave disappointed. I got my nails done the other day, just a gel polish. Im not sure of his name but he was an older man with glasses. He did my pedicure and then moved me over to a table to do my nails. He cut my cuticles at least 10 times and when he put acetone on them, they stung. He barely said 2 words to me the entire time. I told him I did not need my nails cut or filed. He then proceeded to cut and file them down. My nails are now round. The polish is clumpy on some nails and then see through on others. There is polish all over my skin. When he got to the part where he "massaged" my hands, he got lotion all over my bracelets before I could even take them off, he dropped my new ring on the ground and then threw it on the table. I have been to this salon before and have no problems, but I definitely won't be letting him do my nails again. read more

Brought my 14 year old daughter there for a fill. She wanted French tip. I waited outside in the car because I had a little one with me. She came out crying her eyes out because her nails looked horrible. You could see exactly where the nail grew out. I walked back in with her and asked the nail tech if she thinks this looks like a good job. Mumbling she states we did what she asked. Now me being me I asked the nail tech why he wouldn't recommend to her to get pink gel with tips instead of clear so you wouldn't see the lines. He states she didn't ask. I replied your the professional and you can clearly tell she is young and possibly doesn't know to ask. Well they called me rude and pretty much blamed her for not knowing. The owner, who sits at the front is an absolute bitch. My nails cracked after only 2 days of having a dip done. The girl who did them came to work a half hour late. Spoke no English, and took 2 hours to complete. Meanwhile the polish cracked. In addition, I paid to have a polish change which ended up being lumpy! When I called the salon about it I spoke with one of the owners not the one that sits at the front of the store and she told me to come in the next morning and they would fix it for free. When I arrived at the store I pointed out the nails that were damaged I also pointed out the toes she said I had bumped my toe on some thing. When I told her no that wasn't the case she argued with me and said OK we'll do your big toes. They buffed down the three nails that they said were cracked and redid it Then, they did my toes but it was a young man who did my toes and under no instruction he did all of my 10 toes when I went to leave the salon she chased me out the door and charged me $20 I would never recommend this salon there was absolutely no customer service whatsoever. where do I start....booked an appointment with someone specific and when I got there I found out the person that I booked the appointment with hasn't been there in years . as I was sitting there waiting for my appointment with a person that I didn't book it with I noticed their prices on their pricing board were quite high. but I figured I would go through with the appointment since I was already there and not having to find somewhere new to go. for a full set of ombre acrylic the board said $70. my appointment with Louie who happens to be an arrogant punk was not pleasant. when I went to check out they tried to charge me $85 and I said no way the board says 70 so they called Louie up front who proceeded to tell me the prices on the board were last year's prices to which I replied not my problem then went to use my credit card and they charged me 3% extra to use the credit card or they offered me to use their ATM which charges a fee which goes right back to the salon anyway. I left there extremely upset I left four messages for the owner who refused to come to the phone or return my call and now my nails are lifting I've been getting my nails done for 40 years and have never had such a horrific job done on my nails read more

Had eyelash extensions done here and they were HORRIBLE!! They use cluster lashes and what looked like wig glue. Katy was the "lash technician" if you can even call her that. It took her 1/2 an hour to put on a full set of lashes, which I now now should take at least 1 1/2 hours. She used so much glue it was actually scratching my eyes, glued multiple lashes together, they looked like horrible drugstore fake eyelashes!! It took me over 2 days of steaming and coconut oil to get them off. I called 2 days after she put them on and all she could say was "you told me you weren't allergic to anything', which I'm not. When I went in and asked for a refund, (after they made me sit and wait for 25 minutes, because I had called beforehand and they knew why I was there) showing her pictures of my red swollen eyes and had the lashes with glue in a zip lock bag in my hand, they offered me 1/3 of my $65 back. I was horrified and walked out. My husband went back later, wound up speaking to Nikki who used to do my nails, she gave him $40 back and said I could no longer get my nails done there either. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND I'M STILL THINKING ABOUT REPORTING TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH!! They may do good nails, but with customer service like this, is it worth it?? I have since had eyelash extensions elsewhere, they look fabulous, no allergy to anything, and were cheaper than the trash these people put on my eyes. read more

The WORST customer service ever. The owner is extremely rude when you bring a complaint to her.... I brought up that they charged me wrong and brought up that I didn't appreciate how close they have people sitting. The pedi chair had someone in it right next to me and we kept bumping each other with how close we were. I had a kid on the other side blowing raspberries and not wearing a mask. I told the owner and she said to file a complaint that she didn't put the person next to me someone else did. Then she ran in the back to talk to all of her employees as she obviously knew that was against the "rules". She is RUDE and disrespectful to all who went to try and enjoy getting nails done but she stacks people pretty much on top of each other. Aside from the crappy customer service I have as much polish around my toe nails as I do in the actual nails. I told her that as well as she said they look fine and refused to fix them.
