First off they use deceptive advertising to get called out and then adjust pricing after claiming the ad only applies if a cleanout is on the wall but in reality all tub cleanouts are done through the overflow. Regardless after agreeing to the price which was triple what the original quote from the office, the scam was on to create work and make commissions. The plumber(Eric) claimed that he was unable to open the line do to damaged lines in the floor. After calling out another Elite plumber(Henry) who had a camera at his disposal they assured me it was a broken line, could not be cleaned out and would require major excavation and take thousands of dollars to repair. That was not enough, they also called out a third party restoration company(Quick Restore) to try to pressure me and add several thousand dollars more for drywall and tile work as well as requesting to represent me as a liaison to make claims on my homeowners insurance which is Fraud and highly Unethical. The following day I met an honest and professional plumber and within 15 minutes watched him pulled out a huge hair ball which opened the drain. For anyone who's owned or lived in a home, you know that plumbing troubles are surely to sprout up here and there. West Plumbing has helped us navigate through both basic and complex issues. From something as simple as reconnecting a toilet handle to addressing a leaking upstairs pipe. They're great at diagnosing and explaining the problem, followed by fixing it and offering creative preventative ideas for the future. One time, our shower handle broke off mid-stream and the water wouldn't turn off. It was late at night, so I had to turn the water off to the whole house. We asked a good handyman friend to come by that night, but together couldn't figure out how to pull out the handle mechanism. So, we called West. They came out the next day and fixed it in less than 30 minutes. Voilá! Often for home repair, we'll work directly with our Home Warranty. The downside there is that you're at the mercy of whoever is contracted with that service, and the quality of the workmanship is inconsistent. While it can be cheaper to go through a warranty, or shop around on price, you run the risk of a poor job, or requiring several visits and second opinions.
