Quick and easy process to get a piercing done. I had my septum pierced by Trevor and it was honestly probably the smoothed piercing I have ever gotten. I was a walk-in and was lucky enough that no one was ahead of me, so Trevor went through all of the steps with me, got it pierced and done in a matter of moments. The piercer botched my septum piercing; he jammed the needle through hard cartilage in my nose instead of the correct "sweet spot." I usually have a high pain tolerance and have multiple body piercings, but the pain was so bad that it caused me to vomit. I went to two different and more reputable piercers, and they both agreed it was pierced in the wrong spot. I didn't feel comfortable coming back into this shop, because they made me feel bad about my reaction to the piercing. Still, I wanted to communicate my concerns about the piercing, so I called and spoke to the owner. He was incredibly hostile and blamed me for not wanting to come in person. Would NOT recommend this place to anyone. read more

My first tattoo in TN! Division Street Tattoo is clean, practices superb level of hygiene and COVID precautions! The young lady, who's the receptionist and wraps your tattoo post completion, is knowledgeable and explained a lot of detail. My tattoo artist today (kicking myself cause now I cannot recall his name) was amazing! A perfectionist with OCD which is required with tattooing because it would be more painful to remove a mistake than to review the design pre-tattooing a few times! Clean lines, good conversation to distract me, quick, very respectful, and most importantly steady hands. If I were to think of getting more art, I'd definitely go back! Today 06/23/23 I got the student urge to get a tattoo. With my current work schedule being 46-50 hours I don't normally have availability that's not the weekend and saw Division street had walk-ins. I came in around 1:30 and was out by 3. They took me in right away to get my tattoo done by Michael. I showed him one reference photo and he got to work. I'm originally from Arizona and that's why I got this tattoo done and he did an amazing job at incorporating what I wanted with his own touch turned out great and excited to see it heal. This review is 2nd hand from my wife and daughter. They went to get my daughter's ears repierced and were very impressed with the overall level of service, integrity and cleanliness of the personnel and establishment. Highly recommend them if you're looking for and needing a piercing. Be sure and call first though as I don't believe the person that does the piercings is there every day or not. I'd also recommend if your curious to be sure and ask plenty of questions about pricing. We called ahead and were told the piercing would be $30. We also asked if we should bring our own jewelry for her to wear after the piercing and they highly recommended that we plan on just purchasing the jewelry from them. Guess you could chalk it up to mismatched expectations, but if someone calls ahead and asks about pricing, being fully forth coming with all costs so your customer isn't surprised would be very helpful. We thought $30 for the piercing and maybe ~$30 for earrings. In actuality, it turns out: $40 piercing fee $28 per earring $13 per post $122 TOTAL More than double our expectations! Again, very happy with the service, but avoiding the financial surprise would have made the experience even more exceptional. read more

Today I walked in and got 2 piercings by Trevor. He has an extensive knowledge of the shop's jewelry and went out of his way to measure/mark my ears, helping me make the most aesthetic decision. The shop itself is clean and quiet and very pretty. If I ever decide to add to my piercings, I will be sure to revisit Trevor (and also be prepared to drop money on a piece of their gorgeous jewelry, which I may go in for later anyway!). read more

Got a tattoo done by Ina. She was AMAZING! Super sweet and gentle. I got a full color tattoo on my forearm. The design is great and she completed it in under 3 hours. I was offered beverages and snacks while I was getting the tattoo done. The team there was very playful with one another and had really great vibes. Definitely will go back. read more

Piercer isn't knowledgeable and caused me more pain than anything. Will not go back and absolutely do not recommend for piercings. Being APP certified is literally only about cleanliness and jewelry quality and has nothing to do with knowledge or skill. read more

Went in with my wife to get some piercings, was told it wiuld be an hour and a half because he was working on a lot. Okay, no problem, we said we'll grab food and come back. We came back an hour later, were told he's almost done, and waited around. When he finished he said that if we were there for piercings he couldn't because he would be leaving in ten minutes. If we had just been told that from the get go, I wouldn't be annoyed at wasting my night. After careful research, I decided to take my 12 year old daughter here for her first ear piercing. Being a nurse, I wasn't crazy of taking her to the typical mall pricing stores. I have to say everyone at Division Street Tattoo and piercing was super helpful and friendly. The store was very well laid out and clean. Trevor pierced my daughters ears. He was great. First time at this place! My family and I came to get Friday the 13th tattoos and I am so happy we came here! This place is VERY clean! We brought my little 10year old brother cause he really wanted to watch someone get a tattoo, the owner of the shop took 5 minutes away from tattooing to print a stencil and put it on my brothers arm then freehanded more on him! The owner also gave him a painting he had painted! The owner and his wife were very nice and it's thing like that, that leave good impressions not just on us but for everyone else in that shop. I had Aurora as my artist and she was very clean and did a great job! I recommend anyone in this shop! read more

I am so glad to have a shop in Mount Juliet. I went to Division for a Friday 13th tattoo. I was surprised with the tattoos offered. My last Friday 13th tatt was about half the size of the one I got here. Everyone at the shop was friendly. The shop is clean. I will definitely be back for more work! read more
