I was immediately greeted (warmly) by an associate behind the main counter, who was helpful. The gal that did my piercings, Adena, was very knowledgeable and friendly (she let me squeeze her arm for both piercings :)). Unfortunately, a couple weeks in, the end stud of one of the earrings used to pierce my ear broke... after contacting Adena, she advised me of steps to take and also offered to replace the earring free of charge :)! Would absolutely visit again for any services ArtWerks provides! As far as pricing goes... I'd say the price was/is on par with industry average. read more

As an old guy, these new wireless guns are still a little weird compared to those noisy ones we used to have but the art was great and the artist was very engaging. Needed help getting my piercings back in after a surgery (Did not have them done here!) Piercer / Staff went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable as I was on crutches and in a brace! For many people, getting a tattoo is an impulse decision. It's hard to make time for much of anything these days. I called Artwerks on Saturday. A big plus, a live person answered the phone making this a personal experience. She informed me that all of their artists were booked and took my name and number in case of a cancellation. I searched other places locally and either did not get an answer or was directed to go to their website or text. When I did text one place, they shot me a link to their website! Artwerks called back within two hours and had a cancellation. Everyone was amazing and Austin helped me create an amazing addition to an existing tattoo. I highly recommend them. read more

Got a tattoo with all of my cousins! The whole experience was fun! The receptionist made us feel real comfortable and welcomed. Terick was my tattoo artist and he was hella cool. He did a great job! This will be the first review I have ever posted. And I have been struggling with whether or not to write this review but I can't stop thinking that another person can have the same terrible experience that I had at this tattoo shop. I did my research and thought I was safe to finish part of my arm sleeve. I was given Veronica to do my tattoo and I expressed to the multiple team members and Veronica herself my anxiety in having her do my tattoo her portfolio was limited at best. I was assured she was more than competent for completing my tattoo. This was NOT the case. I have had 8 tattoo sessions at 5 different locations and have never had a bad experience. But this was absolutely TERRIBLE. As she was tattooing I expressed my concerns over her choices color and she continuously attempted to reassure me that it would turn out beautifully. I was so unhappy with the results that I returned to the shop 10 days later and showed the owner and Veronica the work. They said they could go over it with light ink so that the bird looks like it has feathers instead of the giant dark blob of a bird with beak. I was distraught over this. Additionally, she created multiple areas of tattoo blow out where the colored ink went outside of the dark outlines. She over tattooed so much that even with pristine aftercare, the peeling was nothing like I had before. The tattoo peeled in large sheets and left areas with much less color than the rest. She also quoted me at $700-$900 for what was supposed to be a 4.5 hour tattoo session and upon "completion" she said it would be $900 She only worked on my tattoo for 3 hours. I was apalled at the entire situation. I have since had the tattoo reviewed by multiple tattoo artists and their responses said enough. They ALL gave the same response and said Veronica must be brand new, needs to be in an apprenticeship and not be allowed to ink customers. I couldn't agree more. Thankfully, VERY THANKFULLY, I found an artist who was capable of reworking the mess that Veronica left me with. This rework took 4 hours and I was charged $400....not the $900 Veronica took from me to leave me with a disaster on my arm. I spoke of my concerns to the owner of the shop and he was less than sympathetic or helpful. He also said that the tattoo did need to be reworked a little and I should come back once it is fully healed. Of course I would never let them rework it or ink on me EVER again. This has been a nightmare and I hope that it saves someone the possibility of this permanent situation happen to them. Again, I never post and it is not in my character to throw anyone under the bus but these are permanent and the impression lasts forever. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Best place to get some ink done IMHO. Louie and the gang are amazing and you get top notch work at very reasonable prices! No matter what style you are wanting to get done, you can get it done here. This isn't a shop that only specializes in black and gray, or only traditional or portraits. They truly do it all! read more

Went in a two years ago for a tattoo, and put a deposit down for a design. I went back in after a few weeks and not hearing anything, only to find out nothing had been done. It had basically been blown off. After waiting even longer, a design was sent to me that was not what I wanted at all. I wound up going somewhere else. I still have a gift certificate that I haven't used for Artwerks because my initial experience was not satisfactory. That said, I have friends who loved their time with Artwerks, but I didn't have the same experience. read more
