As stated on their website Danelle is the artist doing walk ins so we just stopped in to see if she was available. She happened to be working on someone else but was available in an hour so we left and came back a little later. She was great! So nice and very informative. I have another tattoo so I was familiar with the process but she provided 2 difference sizes as well as some background info about what she thought would look best as it was a thin line tattoo and I wanted to see all the details. I'm super happy with my end result and would totally go back. The shop was also very very clean and the girls at the front desk were super nice as well! They seemed really happy that I mentioned I was from out of town as they usually just get locals but that also did make me feel more confirmed with my choice in knowing they seemed to have lots of reoccurring local customers. Overall great experience!

Looked up the IG page and found an artist, and was able to walk in on a Tuesday afternoon. Danielle did our tattoos and I love it! The shop is VERY clean, everyone was very personable and the work here is great! The parking is in the back of the building and you have to go through a side door to get upstairs. That was the I Lu confusing part of the whole thing. We love our tattoos and would def recommend this place!

There was 4 of us wanting to get stuff so we called an hour ahead of time to make sure there'd be time for multiple tatts and custom work and was told yes. So we drove over there, called again from the parking lot to make sure, were told yes there's absolutely still time, paid for parking, got in the building and talked to the guy up front who basically said that there was *not* time for us to all get stuff. We had actually made sure there'd be time to do custom and that's where he said that basically they would only do flash for the rest of the day (which is not even close to what we were told on the phone). Lowkey felt embarrassed bc I had bragged on this place so much going into it but we ended up leaving and having a *fantastic* experience at a different shop that we've now made our go-to. Might've just been an off day or a new guy up front, but that was lowkey cringe.

The girl at the desk was so incredibly sweet and helpful, we loved her! She had glasses and curly hair but I can't remember her name. We ended up picking tattoos from their flash book, and Aaron was our artist. Let me just say it took us forever to choose and we didn't feel rushed at all. It was a really laidback vibe, we appreciated that. Aaron was a cool and kind human being. He explained the process to us and honestly got the tattoos sketched and equipment ready very quickly. It was my friend's first tattoo and he made her feel comfortable. We chatted through the tattooing process and everything went smoothly. We were happy with the finished products. The space is very clean, and the jewelry is always top quality, and a decent price point. Icon is the shop you go to when you want to be pierced correctly from the start with quality jewelry. Icon has better hygiene standards than most doctors' offices I've been to. What rounds out what I like most about Icon is their balance between customer service friendliness and not suffering foolishness. Especially, now that I'm older, I genuinely like that they expect adults to act like adults and follow the rules that they've set out. My only issue with this business has always been the parking. The parking is kind of awful, but then again that's downtown Nashville for you.

This is a review for the RIVERSIDE DR location…read more Let me start by saying that the artists at this location are phenomenal. That's not the reasoning for the one star review. The person who is supposedly over booking sessions has a bad attitude problem. And that turned me away immediately. I was trying to speak on the phone with an artist because I had questions about a tattoo that I was going to be getting which would cost me over $1200. But the only person I could talk to was Andrew because I guess he handles booking. He kept bringing up the fact that I had to pay a 100 deposit which is non refundable under any circumstances. But when I gave him my card twice he kept saying it wouldn't go through. So I said I'll try and come up there another day to pay the deposit in person. When I called today to try and speak with Justin, he told me he wasn't there and when I tried to ask Andrew the questions I had for Justin before I gave him any of my money that I can't get refunded, he stated " look man there's nothin I can discuss over the phone and Justin won't take your seriously anyway without a deposit" so when I said "well I guess I'll just hold o-"he immediately said "ok!" and hung up the phone in my face. This tells me that your not allowed to inquire about a tattoo before you pay a deposit. And not to mention how short he was with me. So I called back to let him know that you don't just hang up on customers and I will not be returning for a second tattoo. After I hung up he proceeded to call my phone multiple times and left a voicemail saying I need to learn how shops work. I know how shops work I have plenty of tattoos lol. He was just completely unprofessional and I've never experienced this at any of the other shops I've been to. $100 deposit for a tattoo I was paying 1200-1400 for. I'm very big on respect so this place has definitely lost at least one customer.

The shop has a really nice industrial chic vibe inside, super bright and clean. And of course, there's still all those awesome framed flash tattoo sheets to look at around the walls. This new spot is so neatly laid out, with a front desk and seating area, the four guys each having their own space; yet the shop still feels open and organized. Extra bonus points that there is a great parking lot behind the building. If you want super quality work and serious artistry skills from someone that's been in the business for 20 years who doesn't overbook himself and will get you an appointment set up quickly, James is still my recommendation. He's gonna work with you to give you what you want while also being knowledgeable enough about the industry to give you advice on how to ensure you're getting a tattoo that will look perfect for a lifetime.

They weren't busy and were able to take us right away. We signed the waiver form and then they took us back. We were just getting simple matching tattoos on our wrist of numbers. We were able to text a picture of the numbers to their phone for them to print and make the stencil. The guys were super nice and chill. Our tattoo artist has been doing it for 15 years. He was very good and the place itself was very clean. I def recommend this place! It was $120. They provide you an "After Care" card for instructions which is nice too. I'm not sure how bigger more detailed tattoos are, but I highly recommend!
